William & Kate Win Their Case - Kind Of


Prince William and Kate Middleton won a hollow victory in court today in France. A court there ordered that Closer remove the topless photos from their website, which they had done on day one because it kept crashing their website. The magazine is not allowed to post any more copies of this issue and that the photos can't be published anywhere in France anymore. So, that leaves how many countries in the world? If Closer sells the photos again it has to pay $13K in fines. Considering they have been selling for 20 times that amount each time, I think they will pay the fine. They are supposed to turn the photos over by tomorrow, so lots of sales between now and then. The court also awarded $2600 in legal fees to William and Kate.
