Joey Fatone Goes Bye Bye Bye From Dancing With The Stars

And just like that, Joey Fatone has reduced the number of boy band members on dancing With The Stars is cut in half. Sabrina Bryan is female, but, I guess we could all of them as being part of tween bands so then the number of tween band members on the show has been reduced by a third. Is Sabrina Bryan known for anything else? Drew Lachey is really only known for winning the show before and being Nick's sidekick on his show with Jessica Simpson. I thought Joey would last longer. He seems to always be on television but there are too many all-stars who already have a little popularity and there are no really horrible dancers. Even though Bristol Palin had the lowest score Monday night, you know she is not going home.

I just don't get who and why they are keeping Bristol. I have nothing personal against her, but my god, she can't dance, she's NOT a celebrity and she has the personality of a box of rocks. I mean, come on. I could see if she had a sparkling, winning personality, but Jesus. What is wrong with people?

My bf LOOOVES this show, but I can't watch it. The cheesiness of EVERYTHING, and the judges' over-rehearsed 'zingers' get my blood pressure up, and I get very disagreeable.
Sometimes you have to not watch things, for the sake of your health.

I'm conservative and I can't stand Bristol. She is a train wreck and is only staying to be mocked, nothing else.

What Christina said.

Reno, that's just what the lamestream people in the know would have you believe--that Bristol can't dance. Don't believe them!
Things like 'keeping the rhythm' are a socialist construct anyway.

You know who else 'kept rhythm'? Hmmm? What about those kids who loved Mao (a COMMUNIST), back in the whosits?....you know what I mean.

@Reno - ITA! It's total BS that she was brought back for all-stars anyway, but to keep her around over Joey?! He was actually good, and definitely very entertaining. Even Len looked pissed last night when they announced Joey was going home. And did you notice that when everyone gathered around Joey at the end, Bristol was standing far back and away from the action. Ugh. If Kirstie goes home before Bristol, I'll be pissed

Thank you Ent for the *NSYNC love today, i vividly remember the Bye Bye Bye video, it came out at the height of my obsession. I've seen it so much, I know the dance moves.

I had heard that the voting parameters have been changed, but the last time Bristol the Pistil was on, there was a message board (referenced here, I believe) that explained how to vote repeatedly; one woman posted that she'd spent four hours voting for BP over 400 times, and was "driving the liberals crazy!" This explains her former longevity; I hope the system's been upgraded since then!

My kids are big fans of the show so I've been watching it for years. Yeah, not all the contestants are "stars," but Bristol's presence irks. As Renoblondee said, she doesn't really have a sparkling personality. I'm sure she's an okay gal in the real world, but telegenic she's not. And I'm not entirely convinced she wants to be there. Sure, the money is good, but I think her mom is pushing her into the spotlight more than she wants it herself. 'Cause, boy doesn't she look awkward during her interviews/practice montages.

I mean, I feel like I'm constantly having to explain to my husband who Melissa Rycroft is (a Bachelor? A Bachelorette? I'm not sure), but there is no denying that she can dance, and she is well-spoken in her interviews.

As for Joey, I'm wasn't entirely convinced his heart was into it either, but did his partner Kym appear broken-up about their ousting. I wonder what that was about.

If it's any consolation, I don't think Bristol is going to survive the double elimination next week, but I think we'll see another surprise off too. Kirstie must be getting the scientology vote, because I can't imagine why she's still there either.

Yes, Bristol was not in the group at the end. I don't think anyone really likes her on the show either.

@Stepani
Melissa was chosen as Jason Mesnicks wife to be on The Bachelor. He famosly told her on air at the "after the rose " interview that he changed his mind to his #2 pick and promptly dumped her in front of millions. It was a huge scandal. (not really, haha). A minor scandal!
