Melanie Lynskey Is Getting Divorced
Rose from two And A Half Men is divorcing Jimmi Simpson from It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Melanie Lynskey, who played Rose, filed the papers last week, but no one really noticed. She never said anything either. She cited the usual when getting divorced. The couple have been married for five years and had no children together.
I guess she didn't like Milk as much as he does.
ReplyDeleteHahahahaha!
DeleteAhhh, that's too bad. I liked them as a couple. The show he was on, Breakout Kings on A&E was recently cancelled--and it ended on a cliffhanger which sucked.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, I'm like crazy attracted to that guy. I love when he's on Sunny. I think its his lips...
ReplyDeleteOmg @maggie I was hoping to see someone else thought he was sexy bc I creep myself out being attracted to a McBoyle? brother lol
DeleteI wonder why?
ReplyDelete@Maggie same here!
ReplyDeleteAh, that bums me out. I liked them as a couple. I guess their fake bad date in Hello I Must Be Going will be the last time they're seen together.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, if you have a chance to see Hello I Must Be Going, Melanie Lynskey is really good. She plays a recently divorced woman . . .
Melanie Lynskey was married to Lyle the intern from The Late Show With David Letterman??

Did not know that.
They both also waived the right to spousal support, its so nice when two people just go their seperate ways with what each has earned and don't try to parasite off each other financially for the next 30 years.
ReplyDeletetimebob movie recommendation
ReplyDeleteHeavenly Creatures with Melanie Lynskey & Kate Winslet.
Great movie directed by Peter Jackson, sick & twisted and based on a true story.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0110005/
Hahaha I didn't read this before I posted!
DeleteGREAT movie! The real life girl who Kate Winslet played is like a big deal author now too
Heavenly Creatures is a great movie!
ReplyDelete@timebob: Heavenly Creatures was also the feature film debut of both Kate Winslet and Melanie Lynskey, two powerful performances in a remarkable movie!
ReplyDeleteThat actor is not "Jimmy Simpson" from Always Sunny--he plays one of the gross McPoyle brothers.
ReplyDeleteShe is a DOLL. Someone will snap her up quick. Yep, hard to believe she was the "plain" one in Heavenly Creatures (opposite Kate Winslet). She is easily in my top 20 (even though I can't stand Two and a Half Men). There's just something about that semi "Pre-Raphaelite" / Victorian shape of face that does it for me...
ReplyDeleteOh duh! That's his "rill" name. Sorry, my bad.
ReplyDeleteEDWARD FORTY HANDS!
ReplyDeletesorry he was on HIMYM and it was funny.
oh my gosh! I LOVED Heavenly Creatures, yet never recognized/connected Melanie Lynskey as the lead. Gonna have to go rewatch.
ReplyDeletetimebob is correct...wonderful movie. I also loved her in AWAY WE GO. She just steals the scenes in everything she does.
ReplyDeleteJust saw Heavenly Creatures again a week or 2 ago - what an amazing, though disturbing, film.
ReplyDeleteI jut watched the episode of Party Down where he played Jackal Onassis. Hilarious, love them both.
ReplyDeleteI just watched that episode last week... I loved Party Down!
DeleteSarah - I love that show! I forgot he was on that!
ReplyDeleteShe was wonderful on 2.5 Men. After she left the show and the writing took a real nosedive.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea these two were even together...
ReplyDeleteIdk her from anything other than Heavenly Creatures and everytime I see that guy being super weird on Always Sunny, I can't help but think of the douchey guy he was in Loser hah
he was also mary on psych, love that show. she was on psych too but her stint wasn't as big as his
ReplyDeleteShe was also in Everafter with Drew Berrymore she was the not so evil step-sister -
ReplyDeleteEwww, he is so creepy on that show in his bathrobe. Or as my husband said - "Maybe they are getting divorced because he is creepy and in love with his brother."
ReplyDeleteI'm glad someone mentioned heavenly creatures. I love that movie!
ReplyDeletejennifer hansen, thank you for helping me figure out why I recognized him (Psych), because all the other "He was in..." references were things I've never seen, and yet he looked SO familiar.
