Blind Item #1
What C list actor who has not been in anything of consequence but still manages to keep his name in the news almost everyday was spotted this week getting a new cell phone. From a new company. Without his B list celebrity wife. He was denied for service with the new company and asked if he wanted to use someone as a co-signer. He looked like he would die. He also had to pay in cash. He said there was no way he could use any credit cards and his wife pays all the bills.
Eddie & LeAnn
ReplyDeleteEddie Cibrian!
ReplyDeleteand I think he wanted to get his own line to call his side pieces, You know LeAnn monitors his phone more than Tom Cruise stalked Katie.
ReplyDeleteLeAnn be crazy if she finds out!
He needs one of those cell phones with a certain amount of minutes on it, a disposable cell phone. Like a spy would use !
ReplyDeleteMaybe he could borrow some bucks from Brandi. :snicker
ReplyDeleteHow horrible must his credit be to be denied a cell phone?! Daaaaaamn.
ReplyDeleteOMG, hahaha! Daaaamn sad.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the guesses. Yikes!
ReplyDeleteIs any one else thinking that Eddie is going to try to move on to an A list celebrity or dumb rich bitch?
ReplyDeleteHas he never heard of prepaid phones? Less traceable
ReplyDeletelol its too much, i just can't
ReplyDeleteBrandi was just talking about how they lived beyond their means so now she will "whore" herself out for a paycheck.
ReplyDeleteI've never owned a cell phone before, but how much are they that you can be denied service or need a co-signer?
ReplyDelete@Basil, it's not the price of the cell phone, it's obviously his credit record. They check your credit to give you a cell phone contract. But I would imagine your credit would have to be REALLY bad to be denied!
ReplyDeleteThis doesn't really make sense to me.... the Blind first states that the actor was denied service with the new company and then a few sentences later says he has to pay in cash. Which is it?
ReplyDeleteBrian Austin Green
ReplyDeleteThat was my first guess too.
DeleteI wouldn't imagine your credit needs to be any better or worse than for a credit card...and it doesn't take much to put a person in that position: a divorce, a job loss, an illness. I think people are naive about how quickly, and easily, credit can be destroyed (and how hard it is to fix).
ReplyDeleteThey may have offered him a prepaid phone after he couldn't get a regular phone...maybe that's what he had to pay cash for.
Get sick +lose your job + default on student loan=no cell phone, no job at a bank ever, no old navy card, no renting a car, no house or car loan without a cosigner, etc.
ReplyDeleteSadly Lola is right.
From my understanding of cell providers, I don't think they would deny you unless you owe that company money from a previous account and refuse to settle the debt. With bad credit, they will usually just make you pay a hefty deposit and then require payment of most fees that tend to be waived with new contracts (such as activation, new phone etc).
ReplyDeleteSource: personal experience switching providers recently.
I call b.s. My credit sucks and they'll still give me a name provider cell phone, just with a $200 deposit. Now, if he doesn't have $200, then he's got bigger problems than this blind reveals.
ReplyDeleteI think because his credit is bad (or he didn't want to use his own credit), they were charging him a lot, in CASH up front. It happens all the time. Pay in cash and you're good, until you don't pay, then they cut you off. But at least they got your $200 to start.
