Blind Item #2

This A list actress spent most a recent evening at a party crying in a corner. When asked what was wrong, she said it was the first time she had ever been to a party where no men had hit on her and that no one seems to care about her. The actress just downed one drink after the other collecting a pile of shot glasses until at the end of the night she was helped out to a waiting car. All alone.

  1. Please be Cameron Diaz.

  2. Cameron Diaz - there are pics on the DM out at a premiere and magazine party from the same night.

  3. Diaz or Charlize (my gut says Diaz) welcome to 40 ladies your pussy superpowers go away sadly with time, it's better to be proud and smart than depend on your looks for validation

  4. First thought was Meg Ryan

  5. every stupid, insecure, vapid girl i've ever met...

cameron diaz sounds like a good guess, but i bet that many, many an actress has/is having nights like these.

  6. @timebob - Power of the cooch never goes away.

  7. What a tool. Stay home if you're going to throw yourself a pity party.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Seriously, can anyone see Cameron off crying in a corner? I call BS on this one.

And seachica - Meg has been in a relationship with John Mellencamp for a number of years already.

    This sounds like someone young.

  9. I hope it's Diaz, but I don't really consider her A list...name recognition yes, but she has not been in a hit in ages.

Demi Moore was the first to pop into my head...

  10. Yep, the power of the cooch NEVER goes away!

  11. Cameron diaz, wasn't she also hitting on robert pattinson? Uy, poor sparkles. She seems desperate and not aging well. Maybe now that JT got married it's a little worse.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Cameron Diaz for sure.. Well stop hitting on other people's men!!!

    ReplyDelete

  13. This could be anyone of any age- Hollywood is full of vapid, insecure types. IMO, it's less of an age thing and more of a gf needs some therapy thing!

    ReplyDelete
  14. haha who knows. I mean, I have friends that do this now an they're not even close to famous.

  15. Y'all are making me laugh.

BTW, has anyone else been having problems posting comments?

There's no way Charlize was crying in a corner because she didn't get hit on.. That woman is a goddess and seems really down to earth..

    ReplyDelete
  17. I don't think this is Cammie..

Now Demi on the other hand.. that one has some bite to it.

    ReplyDelete
  18. @g.strathmore - yes

  19. @tinebob
Charlize is not 40. She is 36.

    I say Cameron.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Amber, PLEASE tell me how to put links in your comments.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I would also say Demi, but she is in no way A list. Cam all the way, especially after that hilarious Robert Pattinson story that is making the rounds.

    ReplyDelete
  22. This is probably Cameron Diaz. But c'mon, she's gorgeous and rich, I'm sure she'll figure something out. She can't expect the same actions she did at 20 to work at 40. All young girls get hit on. Whenever I would start to get upset about it, I reminded myself this was a short phase and would probably miss it later. Indeed I never get hit on anymore and it's fine. I do still get "checked out" but I think men check out everyone, just in case.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Also remember how Cammie flipped at that Oscar party after she and JT broke up because he was talking to Biel. Girl has some insecurities and isn't afraid to show it. Sigh.

    ReplyDelete
  24. if the power of the cooch went away nothing would ever get done! lol.

Grass would be 20ft high, Garbage spilling out of kitchens, gutters filled with leaves, cars abandoned on roads out of gas, light bulbs forever unchanged.....

    ReplyDelete
  25. Thanks for the link, Amber! Cameron doesn't look bad if that's after jet lag and a late night of drinking! I'm impressed.

OT: I noticed one of the stories on the side (at DM) about Kirstie Alley saying that Woody Harrelson incessantly insisting that they sleep together. *eye roll* Not that I'd doubt it, but is she ever gonna shut up?

    ReplyDelete
  26. No way Amber! In those pics she is defintely showing her age on the red carpet, but actually looks great in the afterparty pics-that is NOT the face of someone drunk and upset...

I must beg to differ on this one chica...:)

I'd bet my eye teeth that this is Cameron. Remember how she's always been so open about her willingness to travel for a good d*&^k? And her saying that she just didn't believe in marriage, that it's stupid, why settle for one when you can have them all, that it just wasn't for her? Well, THIS sad spectacle is exactly the reason. Who's going to love you when you're aging and you've had bad plastic surgery? Not A-Rod. I bet she wishes she'd married Justin Timberlake when she got the chance, not that closeted lesbian Jessica Biel. She'd have alot more respect and job opportunities if she was Mrs. Cameron Timberlake. Not just a sad punchline. Who's going to be there for you when your star has dimmed and you're giggling farting smiley shtick gets old? Who's going to love you when you've slept with P. Diddly Combs for jewelry and clothes since you can't earn a living anymore b/c all of your movies have bombed for the last ten years? When was the last time she had a hit? Charlie's Angels? She's an aging party girl and it's really showing. Marriage is great for a woman because that way when you age and start showing some wrinkles someone will still love you for your heart, your personality, your soul, your mind, and support you and cheer you on. Rather than some douche like A Rod telling you to get fake breasts, and a face lift and then dumping you for the next Minka Kelly that comes along. Unconditional love, fidelity, loyalty, commitment, emotional support and financial help in your old age don't sound so horrible now do they Camy?

ITA tara17 .. I'm in my mid 30''s and I don't get hit on nearly as much as I did in my early 20's. I don't believe it's because my stock went down either. I'm still rockin it.. But I have noticed a lot of douchebag guys my age NEVER hit on women older than 24ish..because in your early 20's ( not all women but many ) you're naive and don't know the game as well. Women my age or older wouldn't give these guys the time of day because we have been there done that and have a high BS filter. I know quite a few dudes who exclusively date in this age bracket because every woman their age knows exactly who they are and what kind of scum bag game they play. Not that I'm complaining.. A room full of crickets is much more relaxing than a room full of sword fighters ..

    ReplyDelete
  30. OMG MontanaMarriott you totally reminded me of my dream last night, it was all about CHER! We were best friends. Sorry for that tangent...

If not for the A list part I would say Eva Longoria.

Also RiRi is def the answer to the singer molesting the tweener blind yesterday. There is a pic at the top of the DM where she is molesting one of the Angels.

As in stroking her thigh and panties/crotch area molesting.

  31. You guys are probably right with the Cammie guesses.. but can we pretend for 5 minutes this is Scarlett Johansson and people are not hitting on her cause they are scared of the Penn crabs? pretty please?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Alicia
I too am in my mid 30s. I find that what you say is true. I also find that guys my age hit on younger girls and I get hit on by much younger guys or much older guys.

    ReplyDelete
  33. @L It actually might be. It says nothing about it being an older actress just A list, and she is definitely A list.
I also feel like her appeal and star power is fading. People aren't as obsessed with her as they were a few years back.

    Good guess!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Spot-on Alicia. Very few of the "hit-ons" were out of genuine interest and most were lame, clearly a numbers game. It was important to me to still be respectful. Men should feel free to make moves, and we should feel free to decline.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I think this is Cameron because I question the sanity and self respect of anyone who dated A Rod. Plus she is looking her age more than before and unfortunately she's always had problems with her skin which I'm sure it's not helping her.

Scarlett I think still looks great, at least in the recent pictures I've seen. I'm not completely counting her out but I'm thinking that Cameron fits this better.

    ReplyDelete
  36. LOLJax..True Dat!

Yeah, after the age of 40 you get hit on less and less and by 50 BAM You're practically invisble to men. Sad...

I'm voting on Demi for this one.

  39. Oh boo-fucking-hoo. "Sure there was a hurricane and many people are homeless, BUT WHAT ABOUT ME????" This is probably why no one hit on her. Her list of conversation topics is "me, me, me".

    ReplyDelete
  40. seriously? she was crying becuz no one was hitting on her. this world

  41. amidst the crazy past week and a half (i'm looking at you, Sandy and General Election)...at least we know that there is one constant: hollywood's 'it's all about me' mentality. i'm so glad i have no clue who this is b/c it would make me very stabby.

    ReplyDelete
  42. lol Alicia. Everything sounds better in Stewie's voice - Wil Wheaton!

Hey Shakey, people's problems are very individual in nature. It's annoying when rich gorgeous people throw pity-parties, but human suffering, depression, anxiety feels the same for everyone. I'm sure any woman always struggling to feed her children would roll her eyes at me for freaking out so much over being temporarily unable to pay bills for my house.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I know what you ladies mean re: not getting hit on in your 30s, but my new coworker is 22. In so many ways we look similar, but she is the 22 year old version of me. When she talks about her life-I'm like, "SHIT, thank God I am not so naive anymore", but I see the way men and women my age fawn over her...youthfullness, and I feel the same.

I LOOK like I've learnt my lessons and it's not a cute look to have really...but my soul is bright with wisdom ;p

    ReplyDelete
  44. Totally Diaz!! Please let it be her....

    ReplyDelete
  45. What a lot of woman-on-woman hate in here...

good on Cam if she doesn't want to settle and would rather play -- even better on her for being aware of it instead of marrying for the sake of marrying or for press or just to have a wedding...

and why did she miss the boat on marrying a reported serial cheater like Timberlake?! ---kudos to her for not only refusing to settle, but for also not being desperate and having enough self-worth to not use a man for coattail rides

Why is it any time a woman enjoys the "lifestyle" she is seen as unable to get a ring or land a man? There are SO many married people I know who are flat-out bored and don't make the institution seem very appealing. Missing out on a bad marriage is no big loss.

If this is Cam, then this story is a good reason to hate on her - but not the other stuff being mentioned here. I think A rod is gross, but for all we know, she was just gettin' hers and havin' fun - much the same way he's been doin' it for ages.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Last time I got cat calls in NY was in my 30s. First time they didn't happen I noticed. And at 50? Old crone.

I like the Demi guess better.Cam doesn't seem like she's suffering that much. Still for someone who has been noted as a beauty, it can be a shock the first time it happens, it's called getting older. Then you look onwards, hopefully.

    ReplyDelete
  47. If this IS Cameron Diaz, that would fall in with what I've thought about the last couple of movies I've seen her in; "Knight and Day" and "The Green Lantern". Dude, you do not want to still be selling your bum at 40 as your top talent. 18 year-olds do it better, because that's kinda what they got. Not a lot of wisdom yet, like us old ladies, but cute bums and wide eyes. Also short attention spans and incredibly credulous minds.

I am not hating on her; I'm just saying that maybe she should have developed some acting chops somewhere along the way, instead of relying on the hiney.

And a LOT of those seemingly uber-confident people that love 'em and leave 'em are secretly just not all that sure about themselves, and I could see that vulnerability plus tequila could equal no bueno.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Cam has gone on record saying she knows that beauty doesn't last forever so she's enjoying it while she can but thinking ahead. Don't think this is her. I still like Demi for this.

  49. @ Art Vandelay (love that name, btw) I guess Amber didn't return to the thread. If she does return, I hope she won't mind that I answered for her:

Drunken, aging, emotional, high maintenance mess aint worth the trouble to dudes rich and powerful enough to be at Hollywood parties. 20 y/o w/ them problems, sure you put up with it cause her puss like a rubber band around yer cock. Pushing 40, high mileage, all slopped out, nah.

And at the same party in an opposite corner a drunken, sloppy, balding 50yo male (10 years past his swag) is fanning himself with a makeshift fan made of 100 dollars bills. Simultaneously cooling off his middle aged spread and attempting to lure nubile 20yo girls (or boys, we don't judge) towards his direction.

  55. @fancyscreenname: I'm sorry I hurt you Cameron. I enjoyed you in Something About Mary and.......Something About Mary.

To paraphrase James Woods in an interview I heard on the radio some time ago: When you are looking for a new pet, you gonna pick the puppy or the old bitch?

A "man" who quotes James Woods may as well quote Gary Busey. Similar philosophy. BLAHBLAHBLAH.....

@count JERK......You got that gem off of an interview? Im surprised a "player"like you didn't hear that from James Woods himself. Lol

  59. Geez Cam, get over it. You shouldn't be out at parties during the over emotional part of your cycle anyways. You are old enough to know how it could end up. And you shouldn't be rooting the net for mentions.

Most memorable Busey line from an interview: "I love the smell of burning Jew" as he attempted to put a cigar out on Howard Stern.

In conclusion, when I am in my 50's, I plan to target chicks with daddy issues, preferably 25-35. I've been through the trying to make a woman happy thing. I now aspire to find one that wants to make me happy.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Anonymous10:19 PM

@JERK Do as u please (when u reach your50's...;-)) a bit of advice. Whilst out hunting for fresh meat try to avoid parties where most of the males look like Ryan Phillipe or Gerard Butler circa 300. Could b a rude awakening, daddy issues or not. Keep 'em swinging PLAYA.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Yep, and you stick to parties frequented by the Roseanne and Kathy Bates types and you may get hit on instead of crying in the corner.

One question: Did the steroids ravage A-Rods nads so bad that he blew tiny loads?

    ReplyDelete
  62. In Hollywood, supply exceeds demand in terms of power of the cooch.

Aaaah Count Jerkula ... It s only some males who think they have reached the top rung of their own monkey ladder who think that targeting credulous preys is a proof of their virility.

Because if we go to the hunter/gatherer civilization analogies (which they are often very fond of...), it still getting down to kill baby animals because they look cute instead of going for the real adult prey, isn t it?

(NEVER TAN LADIES. NEVER. EVER. This is what is catching up with Cameron Diaz, Elle McPherson, the young Pippa, ... worst skincare regimen ever bar crystal meth and long term alcoholism)

  66. ... women are pathetic... & delusional... the older they get the more pathetic & delusional they become. Desperate "men" only put up w/ it because seeking a prostitute is mostly illegal, co$tly & pontentially hazardous to a man's "health" (i.e. contracting STDs/*AIDS*). I don't need women... I'm not desperate... I *Buried* the Last One I 'WAS' In Love w/... She didn't have any *p____y power*... or any kind of "power" whatsoever... She 'WAS' "Em" fact... power-less... & She 'WAS' The Woman. So there is no such thing as "cooch/p____y power" nor any power whatsoever re: a woman's *genitalia*. "Em" FACT... in the OVERWHELMING 'MAJOR'ity of nations on this planet women are "Em"slaved... they are raped, beaten, blinded... killed... etc. So don't flatter yourselves women... you're all pathetic... powerless & you know *it*. 68. Ever hear of cougars??! I guess out here on the West Coast, women do not go downhill after age 40 like in the midwest or some of the podunk towns there.

Get off your bootay and go to the gym, get a good face cream, get your hair did, and get out there. Seriously, you don't have to be married if you're over 40 in order to feel validated. This thinking is so old school and that logic is illogical too.
