Blind Item #5 - Easy Easy

What former A list female singer is begging tv producers to keep her job. Apparently she thought things were going to be way better for her and that she was going to be able to get things back to the way things were for her money and fame wise, but she is just not catching on like she thought and is campaigning everyday that they should keep her around. They are actually thrilled she is leaving.

  2. X-tina! She's one hot drunken mess!

  3. Brit-Brit for X-Factor.

  4. I don't think it's Mariah because the season hasn't even aired, she's not leaving yet (unless I missed something)

    Is Christina leaving? Brit?

  5. I think Mariah is permanent A list. Britney seems to not be the campaigning type. I would go with Xtina or Demi Lovato

    Brit.

  7. Xtina was going to take a scheduled break from the next season to promote her newest album - this is her

  8. Christina is leaving to go on tour though I thought, and the Voice made it clear she and Cee Lo could come back if they wanted.

Christina seems different on the voice now, I almost wonder if shes taking script pills... She seems very light/floaty, euphoric, or unusually nicer than previous seasons. Showing alot more heart I guess you could say, she seemed more stoney and cold before.

    I think this is Brit

  9. I think its Christina. I would say her music career is no where near the way it used to be and she's the only one who has publicly stated to be leaving her reality show

    ReplyDelete
  10. Perhaps Xtina tour isn't selling out the way she thought it would and realizes she would make more money doing The Voice rather than touring.

    1. she hasn't even offically announced a tour yet just that she is taking a break in the spring season of the voice

  11. Totally Xtina. Her new record is not getting rave reviews & her last one was a bomb, so yeah - she's trying to get along to go along with The Voice.

  12. I lost the last shred of respect I had for Christina the day after Hurricane Sandy when EVERYONE was tweeting about the devastation and celebrities were sending their prayers and stuff, and Christina ONLY tweeted begging people to buy her album.
I don't care if it's not really her tweeting and she has an assistant doing it, it looked ridiculous, insensitive, and so out of touch with reality. Plus I thought she was from the area Sandy hit... who cares - BUY MY ALBUM while your standing around outside since your home was destroyed!

    3. @ Jessica, she was one of the first to volunteer to sing at the benefit for the victims, she might be a drunken mess but she's got talent and helps out wherever she can

  13. Xtina....doubt it's Brit since there have been tons of other blinds suggesting that she doesn't even want to be on the show in the first place, but she's somewhat being forced to do it thanks to her conservators + the contract

  14. I think Mariah. Even though it has not aired yet, the auditions are going on and they are taping. I think she was blindsided when AI hired Nicki Minaj. Mariah thought she would be the only female judge. That took a lot of wind out of her sails. And with her hyperdiva attitude and demands, I am sure AI is glad to be rid of her.

    ReplyDelete
  15. This must be Xtina. She stated she wanted to leave, and I am guessing her ticket and album sales aren't as good as she thought they would be.

    ReplyDelete
  16. The producers of the X-factor said any current judge who leaves to tour has a permanent place on the panel. I don't think this is X-factor.

    I'm thinking Mariah or Brit.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I thought that Xtina and Cee Lo were taking a break and would be back the following season.

I like Christina better this year. I'm chalking up her bitchy tude last year on her divorce.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Britney. There have been reports that Britney is not helping with the ratings and the Powers That Be don't want her back. I think her boyfriend/manager is also credited as a producer on the show, so if she leaves, he's out of a job. I'm sure he's heavily campaigning to have her keep her job.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Also, like it or not, The Voice panel has much more chemistry than what Simon tried to buy for X-factor. It's ratings are higher too. I don't see this as Xtina.

  21. Britney is still pretty much A-List, isn't she?

    ReplyDelete
  22. I mean The Voice above! The producers said the coaches has permanent spots even if they take sabbaticals. Britney costs more than she's worth, I suspect.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I wouldn't call Britney and A-list singer at all.

    1. Not in talent but definitely in he fact that everyone knows who she is. I find her to be one of the worst singers in history. period.

  24. If Britney is still A list then I would say Mariah is too...so hard to define these ratings!

    ReplyDelete
  25. And the fact that this is 'easy easy' leads me to believe that the singer had already announced they are leaving...which would be XTina. If Mariah was being let go, it would be news..AND hard to believe that would happen before we've reached the weekly shows.

  26. I think Britney is permanently A List at this point. I'm not happy about, I don't think she deserves it, but she is starting to get some Marilyn style worship.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I don't see how Britney isn't A-list considering her albums still debut at #1, she sells out her concerts, and can pretty much still get by on name recognition alone. And no, I'm not her biggest fan, but I don't see how she's not still A-List.

    ReplyDelete
  28. The reason I don't think this is Christina is because of this phrase:

"but she is just not catching on like she thought"

If you watch X-factor, she's clearly the weakest judge. She also didn't bring the ratings and has a hefty fee.

Christina has been on the Voice for 3 seasons now. The blind makes it sound like someone who just started.

    ReplyDelete
  29. ^^ Britney is clearly the weakest judge. I am sure Simon's ego is bruised that the Voice is doing better and I doubt he wants to pay Britney if she's not bringing in the viewers.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I read this to mean it is someone who voluntarily resigned their spot, but now wants it back.

To me that's Christina... is there anything to suggest that either Britney or Mariah have quit?

    ReplyDelete
  31. I read it to mean someone who just started and isn't living up to expectations and trying to hang onto their job anyway. I didn't see it as someone who quit. Of course, Enty isn't always the clearest writer.

Also, I don't think she quit. Just taking a break from next season. Isn't Cee-lo also taking one?

  32. This thread is confusing, I think people are mixing up the names of the shows.

Christina and CeeLo have both announced that they are taking one season off from The Voice next Spring. Christina is touring and promoting her album, CeeLo is developing a new show with NBC (that scares me). Christina had already said that she planned to return next Fall, she was only going to be gone for six months.

I think this blind is meant to be Christina, for reasons already stated. Her album is not doing well, her interviews haven't been getting great responses, etc, etc. The Voice is a steady gig for her, and she has been coming across as almost normal this season. I can see why she is already chatting them up to make sure she can return next summer.

    ReplyDelete
  33. In no world is Britney not A list. She is permanently A list, no matter what she does in the future. Mariah as well. Britney still releases number 1 albums every time she releases on...

    ReplyDelete
  34. I read an interview with Mark Barnett where he says he wants to keep Adam, Cee-lo, Blake and Christina as core judges and rotate other guest stars when they need to take a break. I don't see Christina's album as a failure because it was just released yesterday. How do we know if it will sell or not?

I really can't see X-Factor paying Britney any more than they already do. Also, she is in the photos today.

    ReplyDelete
  35. what Caralw said.
Plus I got that Your Body single when she released it. Pretty good, real dancey. I might just buy her album, seems pretty catchy

  36. How about Reba McEntire? New show on ABC looks like a disaster.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I highly doubt Reba is hurting "money and fame wise". It's totally Christina "I Love My Boobs" Aguilera.

    ReplyDelete
  38. how about nicki maujon (don't care enough to look up her name.

Surely her 15 minutes are nearly up?

    ReplyDelete
  39. I just looked it up. Britney is making 15 million.

    http://www.ibtimes.com/x-factors-britney-spears-not-confirmed-another-season-fox-863872

Fox executives are not confirming her from another year just yet. X-factor's ratings are down from a year ago.

Fox still has to pay Mariah, Keith Urban and Nikki Minaj on Idol.

Meanwhile, ratings for The Voice are up. For a struggling network like NBC, it's a cash cow. I can't see Christina having to beg to keep her job. I guess we'll find out if she's not back in the fall.

Current A-list singers are people like Adele and Taylor Swift, who currently dominate in sales. Britney is more tabloid fodder even if she has had some hits, they aren't what they used to be. I think she fits.

    ReplyDelete
  40. My guess is the piglet Xtina, but isn't she leaving in order to tour and promote her album? It's probably Britney.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Too late! Adam Levine was on Ellen the other day and he said they are already filming with Shakira and Usher for next season--they are overlapping filming the end of this season with the auditions/preliminaries for the next one. She's out til at least next summer when they film for fall.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Brit Brit is and will always be A list. Constantly selling out shows, platinum records, every single is in the top 10 if not 5.
She still banks from her fragrance, that coupled with her intense fame over the past decade equals mega riches. I don't think the girl is hurting for money.

Christina on the other hand has not experienced the success that she saw years ago. She doesn't have any projects aside from music and Voice. With her last album and this album being the epitome of suck she won't be makin it rain any time soon.
Factor in huge booze bills and Christina's cash well is probably going to run dry soon if she can't keep The Voice.

  44. Sorry, there's no way Britney isn't considered A-List and do we really think she'd basically be begging to keep her job? It's not like doing the show was her idea.

If anyone, this is Christina. Wouldn't you be worried if you were going to "take some time off," and they've already got your replacement? Do not think for a second she's not worried that Shakira's going to end up being better liked and she's out of a job or, in the very least, loses a lot of bargaining power.

  46. Well, I'm just going by what I've seen in the media about both women. One is considered a "core" judge and the other is considered not bankable. She was brought in for ratings and they are down.

How Enty classifies them is purely arbitrary.

I actually don't think the Voice will do as well in the spring because it will have to compete with idol. I like Shakira though.

    ReplyDelete
  47. This is 100% Xtina.

She's leaving next season on The Voice and being replaced by Shakira. But since her new album is tanking she won't be able to do as much press or tour like she wanted.

Remember she had to cancel her Bionic tour cause of poor ticket sales. Same thing here. She won't tour, no one is going to pay to see her.

Xtina is supposedly a HUGE pain in the ass to work with and producers, crew, etc are THRILLED to see her leave and are looking for ways to not take her back.

JLo, Britney and Mariah are all still solid A-list with album sales and tours. Xtina? Major fail.

    ReplyDelete
  48. @Norwegian Nora...

And what show is LeAnn trying to stay on? I also don't think she was ever A-list.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Lol at all the people on here saying it's 'Britney'
Notice that the blind item says 'FORMER A-List celeb'
Britney is still a A-list celeb.

  50. I think it's Xtina.
