Matt Lauer Is Getting Fired

According to The National Enquirer, Matt Lauer is going to be fired from the Today Show. I'm not sure if they are right or not, but I do think something drastic needs to happen over there or they are going to be like CBS was in the mornings for 20 years. Way in the back and irrelevant. No one is watching Today anymore and they have tried everything but replacing Matt. Perhaps it is his time to go. It seems like everyone on the show is sick of him or hate him or has slept with him. Maybe that is why they are sick of him and hate him. Anyway, where the story loses me is that they claim that Al Roker is the man who wants to be the next co-host and is being the evil one behind the scenes pushing Matt out of the way.

    They need to get back to serious news in the first hour, semi-serious news from 8-8:30, and a bit of entertainment news from 8:30-9. Lose the third hour and spin the fourth hour off as nothing but a boozy Kathie Lee and Hoda frightfest of make-overs and similar crap.

    He needs to be fired. And NBC needs to seriously come up with and enforce some rational, coherent policy about employee fraternization as well as recognizing Lauer's sexual manipulation and/or harassment for what they've been--if even half the stories about him are true. I'm shocked that so far not one of the women he's victimized have filed suit against the network.

    I don't feel sorry for the women he has slept with. They did it to get ahead in their careers. Is he a dog? Yes, but these women are not victims. They are just as unscrupulous as he is.

    Fire matt and his mistress. I stopped watching after learning of how much of a douche matt is. I will never forget a picture enty posted of matt and ann doing coverage of the olympics. He was slouching in his seat like he was the top dog. They should bring back ann after he's canned to add salt to his egotastic wound.
