    1. @S.joy yes I was thinking the Eddie pic was about a blind too! I read the article on DM a few days ago (can't find it on DM mobile unfortunately) but that chick has been around the block including Russell Simmons!

My my my. How embarassing to have to always been known as the hanger on of your brother. Charlie made it on to Chapelle Show because of his always tagging along with his brother when his brother was hot. How embarassing. To still be hanging on even after the brother's star has waned is preeetty sad!

  6. It drives me crazy that Sandler is a bazillionaire yet can't be bothered to dress up once and awhile! ugh!

  7. I seem to recall an episode of Oprah years ago where Eddie said he only finds black women attractive, guess things changed.

But what really struck me here is that damn Eddie's brother is hot!!!

  9. Geez, CarmeliteLady! I'd still hang out with my brother even if he was famous and then became less famous just because I like him and he's family.

  12. TWIN brother darkness!

Charlie's been a comedy writer & comedian all these years. And he and Eddie are always super-close. They are brothers. How is that 'hanging on'. He never got as famous as Eddie, but how many have?

"You don't slap another man. I mean, even back when slapping was popular, it was because you were going to duel. You slap a man, somebody has to die."

Not close to a correct quote, but oh well.

  13. I love Charlie Murphy! Saw him do stand up almost 2 years ago. He was super funny, and afterward he hung out and gave autographs and pics. I got my picture taken with him! :)

Charlie is gorgeous in person and a really nice guy. Got to see him at Cobb's Comedy Club and he is a class act through and through.

No need to ride coat tails when you have your own talent.

  33. Charlie Murphy has had a good career. The man has been on Curb Your Enthusiasm and is funnier than Eddie. He's been in movies too. He's def not a hanger-on - he's talented.

  34. "Has-beens"?! That looked like an awesome event-old school funny!!

@Carmelite, as others have said I think that is a really...I wanna say fcked up, but that's probably me being lazy...let's go with "cynical" point of view.

Some people are really proud to be related to someone with talent or who has done something amazing in the world-never mind that they were friends.

That's like saying Eddie should be ashamed of his bro for NOT becoming more famous.

Actually, maybe they just love each other, no matter what.

  35. Charlie was good on Chappelle's Show.

I miss that show. Dave was funnier than all of them mentioned above.
