Bethenny Frankel & Jason Hoppy Are Still Married?

As much of the past year as Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy have spent apart, I assumed they had already split which is what I reported a long time ago. US Weekly has finally got on the bandwagon and says the couple's marriage is in trouble. The report must come from Bethenny or one of her friends because it describes Bethenny as driven and Jason as a slacker with no motivation at all. Oh, and Bethenny wants desperately to make it work but is unsure about Jason. Talk about throwing the father of your child under a bus and then riding back and forth over the limp body just to get your point across.

I don't know anything about this woman, and I really don't give a shit. But whenever I have seen her pictures, I think, "This is the exact definition of 45+bad plastic surgery". See also the mom on 7th Heaven. I don't know how women like that can get up in the morning, get ready for the day, look in the mirror and think, "Damn, I look good!" Do they not realize they look like a SLIGHTLY more feminine version of Jack Nicholson as the Joker? It's much better, in my opinion, to age gracefully than to turn into a DC villain in the vain hope of grasping at some pathetic, elusive, youthful straws that will soon slip through your grasp like so many grains of sand.

I can't believe they even had a child together- he gives off extreme gay vibes and I can't imagine her putting her stick thin frame through a pregnancy. I think she had a baby to pin him down; I know that this is an old fashioned idea and she is a self made millionaire and all that, but I feel it was her way of having it all, even if it is rotten underneath.; 7:29 AM

KendraWM said...: She doesn't bother me and I watched the show and his family was enough to want to make me want her to leave him. Enmeshment and reliving their poor dead child through the new grandchild is not a healthy relationship. Add in the fact that he saw no reason why they should not spend every weekend with his family, whether it was his parents coming to NY or they go to PA to see his parents.

When it came to his parents he also had a very hard time backing and supporting his wife and taking her side. I can only imagine what living with that must be like.; 8:21 AM

NapAssasin said...: I like her, I like him and I think they tried. Jason had a very successful career (real estate?) before quitting his job to help her business make gazillions of dollars. They both have issues, obviously, and very different upbringings. It would be hard for anyone to work on that, constantly. I know Enty doesn't care for her but she's a fairly normal mom and that's what I always judge people by-how they are with strangers and kids. She seems not too bad, compared to some of the others celebrities and housewives.; 10:26 AM
car54 said...: Bethenny was on Watch What Happens Live last night and Andy asked her if she and Jason were still together and she said they were and that they are fine. That she is just keeping a low profile until her talk show gets a start date.

It seems like since her reality show ended so he could be out of the limelight he is staying off camera as much as possible.

She did say she thinks she doesn't want any more children--and he did want her to have another baby.; 11:20 AM

Barton Fink said...: Whatever her good or bad points, she's good television. She was traumatized by her childhood, though. Almost as badly as Janice Dickinson, just not those specific violations. Bethenny will never find anyone to love her because she vomits hate and mistrust the moment things get quiet. She will die alone and unloved, and her child will stop speaking to her as soon as adulthood kicks in. There's something wrong with Bethenny, something terrible.; 12:05 PM

WUWT? said...: I don't know how to find it, but there was a post on here half a year ago that featured the cover of a gossip mag and some big big story on the cover, and way up in the corner of the cover was a blurb about How Bethenny Saved her Marriage. Two of us commenting that day noticed it/mentioned it, but I can't remember what the main story was to find it now.; 10:50 PM
