Blind Item #1
I guess that is one way to make money off a wedding. What celebrity couple had a recent wedding paid for by a network and then turned around and had a cash bar and kept all the money from the sale of the booze? Classy.

Ashley and JP??
ReplyDeleteMario Lopez
ReplyDeleteMario Lopez and unhappy bride?
ReplyDelete@Brooke Kambel - ooh! i also like the Bachelorette guess! well done!
ReplyDeleteLopez? If so, what a crude indivual.
ReplyDeleteGot to be the bachelorette. Their wedding is airing on Dec. 16 on ABC.
ReplyDeleteMario Lopez had his wedding filmed for TLC and it's airing Dec. 8. Not a network.
DeleteABC is the network!
Mario Lopez
ReplyDeleteGoing with Ashley and JP.
ReplyDeleteWell those two are certainly MFEO. How despicable.
ReplyDeleteHa! I'm actually surprised ABC let this happen. Keep it classy, kids.
ReplyDeleteUgh, will networks please quit paying for these weddings? Nobody cares!!!!!
ReplyDeletePitiful, absolutely pitiful.... You can't invite people to a wedding where they bring you gifts and have a cash bar. A cash bar and a not +1 is about as tacky as you can be.
ReplyDeleteForgot to add, ESPECIALLY if your wedding is getting paid for by someone else!!!
ReplyDelete@Amber...what does MFEO mean? Curious mind here and always up for a new abbreviation.
ReplyDelete@Amber and Reeses
ReplyDeleteI'm having a Sleepless in Seattle moment!!!!!
(Made For Each Other)
Mario Lopez. I saw him on Cake Boss Next Great Baker last night. He's such a douche.
ReplyDeleteI'd say Lopez is still in the running for this, since whether cable or major they're all TV networks. Regardless, I don't know who these Bachelorette people are but my money's on them.
ReplyDeleteRats! I thought it was m'fer something or other. lol Just kidding! Thanks, Sunny!
ReplyDeletewell if Martha Stewart was on a network i'd say Blake Lively and Ryan reynolds..otherwise i got nothing
ReplyDeleteI hope it isn't Ashley and JP. I have a soft spot for them. They have gone back to their normal lives and not done the famewhore thing, unlike most of the bachelor/être crew. I have zero desire to watch their wedding, but I don't blame them for taking the network up on the offer. Average weddings cost $32k now! Want to do l the planning for me and pay for it? Hell yeah.
ReplyDeleteBut no, no cash bar. That is tacky of abc
The only reason I say Ashley and JP is on twitter one two of the guests were joking around about it being a cash bar, so maybe Enty took from that and made this blind?
ReplyDeleteOops two not one two lol
ReplyDeleteThere's only one guy that is this skeezy in Hollywood (riiiiight), okay only one guy I can think of right now, and it's Mario Lopez. I feel dirty just saying his name. (Shivers)
ReplyDeleteMario Lopez turns my stomach. How how how could that woman marry him? Much less procreate with him. Blech. And I'm 99% sure he's gay but closeted.
ReplyDeletemost times when a cash bar is involved it's to keep the booze pigs and lushes at bay.
ReplyDeleteIf this was being filmed for tv would you want your drunk asshole cousin pissed as a lark making a damn fool of you on tv? No.
@Reeses & Sunny - haha yup! "made for each other". I LOVE Sleepless in Seattle.
ReplyDeleteMario Lopez's wedding is set to air on TLC as a holiday special. He totally comes off as the cash bar type to me.
ReplyDeleteApologies in advance if this is a dumb question, but how would they keep the money from the cash bar? Unless they bought the booze themselves and hired a personal friend as the bartender, wouldn't the money go straight to the bartending/catering company? I can't imagine network would pay for a televised wedding and then let some rando play bartender.
ReplyDeleteNot that they kept bar money, but they didnt pay for the booze ghe guestd drank.
DeleteCheap fucks.
ReplyDeleteShayne Lamas and Nic from Couples Therapy? No, I guess VH1 wouldn't be a network.
ReplyDeleteMario. I also have a soft spot for Ashley and JP. They are so adorable. I used to not be able to stand her on The Bachelor, but she won me over when she got her own show. I will be watching their wedding. They're about the only ones that took the "journey" seriously. Hehe
ReplyDeleteAshley and JP are considered celebrities? This is a sad, sad world.
ReplyDeleteIt's actually sad that any of the named above are considered celebs.
Whoever it was is tacky as hell. And why do we want to see filmed weddings? The Prince and Princess yes but average celebraties..Fergeddabout!
ReplyDeleteWhats really tacky is being invited to your step-brothers wedding & then finding out that they have no bar because his new wife's family have drinking problems .. Needless to say, we all left the wedding at 7pm & went home & cracked open a beer at home.
ReplyDeleteLopez I went - it was a cash bar.
ReplyDeletethe clips from the reception for mario's wedding were embarassing. looked so trashy. like something honey boo-boo's family would participate in, only a nicer wardrobe.
ReplyDeleteMario Lopez
ReplyDeleteOn "Extra" they showed clips from his wedding, when all the guests jumped in the pool. They said something about their teleprompter operator jumping in.
Why would there be a teleprompter at a wedding? Maybe he was a guest and they invited "Extra" crewmembers. But if not, it's strange.
US Weekly mentions Ashley & JPs wedding being a cash bar after 9. And an expensive cash bar....$16 cocktails. The article awkwardly ends mentioning she left hand in hand with Chris Harrison with her disheveled looking groom by her side. I mean who leaves their wedding holding hands with someone else? Odd
