Blind Item #2
What A list foreign born singer who has not had a hit in a long time but will probably always be A list does not consider herself married even though she has a husband. She doesn't wear a ring and does not allow her husband in her bedroom. She does not believe in divorce so didn't leave him when he was cheating on her with a bunch of different women and draining her fortune in get rich quick schemes. She won't cheat although if you hear her talk to her friends, she has only had sex a handful of times in her life despite being married forever.

Her original Caesar's Contract stipulated that in addition to paying her millions that Rene's outstanding gambling debts with the
casino would be forgiven in full.

ReplyDeleteI doubt this is Celine. Not only does she wear a wedding band, but a number of years ago they renewed their vows in a very elaborate ceremony, which received a lot of press coverage.

DeleteThis might sound harsh, but if it's Celine and she doesn't believe in divorce, maybe she just knows that with their huge age difference he will likely die much sooner than she does. At that time she can try romance again, without the guilt of divorce. I always thought she seemed to genuinely love him, for what it's worth.

I like Celine too but this is her. Everything fits, that vow renewal was like ten years ago, things can change. Gloria Estefan could work but her husband has plenty of money of his own, he is very involved in the music careers of many other singers so I don't think he would be using her money. Renee on the other hand, does he do anything else beside handle Celine's career?

ReplyDeleteI think this is Celine (whom I like) not Gloria. I have always believed them to be a genuine couple. Has Emilio ever been rumored/accused of cheating? I wasn't aware of it if he was.

ReplyDeleteYeas ago (a decade or so) there was a woman who claimed Emilio sexually harassed/made advances towards her at their offices (she was an employee)
Gloria & Emilio denied it and called it a money grab.
I have always had Gloria & Emilio pegged as the blind about the lesbian in a long term marriage to keep her fanbase that Enty posted a few years ago
Hmm! I like both of these guesses but leaning more towards celine. I think she would rather do anything than get divorced or admit marrying someone that much older is a mistake. She seems oddly determined to force this image. I remember that video or photo shoot where she kept holding/smushing babies and how uncomfortable it looked. That's just an odd thing to think about whenever her name pops up.

ReplyDeleteWho are these people? Who are they trying to impress? In this day and age you can get a divorce and nobody is going to care. I'd rather do that than watch a man bleed me dry.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like Celine. Her husband has been involved with some shady dealings and known to cheat. She's had to pay off quite a few women in regards to René. She got with him at a VERY young age, so she probably doesn't have a lot of experience. She seemed pretty dense when it comes to that old man.

I don't think this could be Sade because of the following reasons:
ReplyDelete1) She still lives in Great Britain.
2) She is frugal and lives nicely but not extravagantly so I doubt she'd let a significant other blow her fortune.
3) She's a divorcee and has had a baby out of wedlock with a different man so I doubt she'd be obsessed with maintaining an unhappy marriage.
4) She's married to a firefighter ex-military guy, who I don't think would be involved in get rich quick schemes.
Alanis Morisette? She hasn't had a hit in a while, but was big time, and even though it's semi-detached, Canada is a foreign country.

Celine is really the only foreign born A list singer (female) I can think of - so on top of it fitting, I think it probably has to be her for that reason alone.
