Star Trek Trailer Released

I think Star Trek movies can be hits and misses, but this one looks really good.

  1. I can't wait! I love Star Trek, Star Wars, sci fi stuff. It's just so interesting to imagine what life may be like in the future, and the things that we would deal with living in space. Okay dorky girl rant over.

  2. When the people rebooting the series respect and love the original good things happen, when you have producers looking to make a quick buck off a remake ahem, Fame, bad things happen

Love the Star Trek reboot, perfect casting and they didn't do a movie a year they waited until the script was right and CGI is first class.

  3. I'm loving this new thing, too. Quinto rocks. Chris Pine is amazing. I hope they can all stay in it for at least a half dozen films, and it hope it pays their bills! This cast rocks. I just wish they could write a Taylor Lautner character....

  9. Yeah, that's the UK version, so Yanks can't see it. It's the same as the US version.

To get a small extra scene, at the site Enty provided, look at the Japanese trailer.

I run a Star Trek site so we've already been analyzing this to death, since it came out at 3 AM my time. LOL.

  13. Remember how we used to joke about Enty having a Brit connection 'cause he'd go off when there was something happening with the Royal family? Now he's linked to a UK-sourced video.

Hmmmm. The Daily Fail plot thickens.

I am so excited about this movie. Cucumberpatch as Khaaaan and Simon Pegg? Plus Zach Quinto is awesome as well, and I'm a huge Star Trek fan. I love that Cucumberpatch and Watson are going to be in the Hobbit as well, which I can't wait to see. My geek cup runneth over. Squee!!!

  16. Benedict Cumberbatch (a B, not a P, people) is NOT Khan - not obviously, anyway - I thought that had been established.

[I never realised how much Benedict looks like his mother, she's an awesome and very underrated actress].

I am squeeing like a fangurl over this, together with seeing lovely Martin Freeman and *sigh* GORGEOUS Richard Armitage in The Hobbit, with Benedict voicing one of the characters in that.

    Roll on 2013! I can't WAIT!
