Blind Item #1

This A++ list all movie actor is leaving his reality star girlfriend hanging. He has not told her if she is going to get to go to the Academy Awards with him or if everything is over. When asked last night about what dress she was going to wear she almost started crying when she said she didn't know if she was going to go.

    4. He's all movie now. The other designation is all movie, all the time.

    5. Keyword: WAS

Clooney is all movies now and hasn't looked back. (the ER finale cameo aside.)

      Sneaky enty

    7. Lotta, I loved that cameo so much. For a star of his power to come back to the tv show that helped launch his career was pretty cool and, unfortunately, rare.

    8. @DBZee, Exactly! Too many celebs to count that would never do such a thing as go back to where it all started.

    9. Why does this have to be explained again and again?

      Delete
    10. Yep. Probably a couple of months ago now, Enty said that "all movie" refers to theit career now. Clooney, RDJ, plenty of others noe all movie.

      And it's Clooney FTW!

Really, just tell her one way or the other. That strikes me as being mean. Don't know why you would leave the person hanging, unless he considers this one of his pranks.

  3. Do we even consider this a blind?

  4. So the contract is almost up again?

    ReplyDelete
  5. Is she crying because she she wants to go or because the contact is over?

    ReplyDelete
  6. Time to trade her in for a newer model already? Maybe she just needs a tire rotation

    ReplyDelete
  7. I guess when you're under contract and getting paid with money and publicity, you do what you're told. I guess George wants to emphasize that she is merely his employee with this one.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Hey George! I'm available, and I already have a dress.

  9. Oh George, you devil.

I kinda feel bad for her. I know she asked for it but that's got to suck

  11. Sorry but if you are Oscar nom'd first choice should go to your mom or child, girlfriends come dead last esp. if they are just for show and red carpet events

  12. Latter, Lotta--imo. That lifestyle would be pretty hard to give up.

Every girl thinks she's the one he'll finally pick. There are millions of nobody Don Juans out there-- love 'em, leave 'em before anything gets too serious. A lifestyle. Clooney is just famous enough to have this part of his life televised. It's a great cover for anything else he does too.

In my experience, they will only stop & settle down once they can't get anyone better, like desperately elderly and/or lost all their $$$.

  14. He's all movies NOW, Enty obscures the blinds this way.
If this can be called 'obscured'.

  15. Even I guessed this and I'm new here.

  16. Clooney is more aptly described as an actor/director, IMO.

BTW, at what point does the statute of limitations on TV stardom end? Clooney has been one of the biggest film stars in the world for the last 10+ years -and has an Oscar to show for it - and yet every time he's described as "all movies" on this blog, someone has to jump up and remind us of "ER" and "Facts of Life." I'll accept "TV-turned-movie star" or even "mostly movies" over the length of his career, but if George Clooney is not a bona fide M-O-V-I-E- S-T-A-R then I don't know who is. End of rant.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Oh for fuck's sake. I'm sick of seeing things like "he was in ER, he was in ER" pop up. Do people still don't get how the game is played?

    ReplyDelete
  18. I hope he keeps her around. She has been so much better than his past girlfriends.

    ReplyDelete
  19. No...he just put her in his Tequila Add with Rande Gerber. I find that hard to believe.

    ReplyDelete
  20. what Dee123 said.

    ReplyDelete
  21. For the past decade, he's been in only movies. I think that would make him an all movie actor imo.

    ReplyDelete
  22. If Kiebler has really convinced herself that she's going to be THE ONE, I feel really sad for her. The Cloonster should be able to tell her emotions are in it, and put her out of her misery. Let her find someone who really does want to settle down and start a family with her.

    ReplyDelete
  23. OMG - He was in ER and Facts of Life?!? I'm asking because I'm 12. Seriously, EVERYONE knows he's been in those shows. And everyone knows he had a pet pig. Everyone knows he was married ONCE and said never again. Can we get past that now?
Now, he's all movies. THAT is his designation.
The A++ may be debatable, but I doubt it. Just go with it. He's A++, all movies.
And yes, this is SO them.

    3. Don't forget Sisters and ER (the one with Elliot Gould.)

And yes, he's ALL MOVIES now.

  24. Maybe this is about mental abuse?

Perhaps girl is teary-eyed because she will notg get the go-ahead in time to select a gown and have it altered to fit, and if he decides she should go at the last minute, she will have to settle for whatever she can find. Then when she isn't dressed as well at the Oscars as others, the A-list boyfriend can berate her for not being appropriate for the occasion.

  25. I have a hard time believing every one of his ex girlfriends thought they would "change" him, and become Mrs. Clooney. These women aren't complete idiots. They know his track record, and know what they are getting into.

  27. she should dump him. in a very public way. respect is a huge deal-breaker. she's good looking. i'm sure there are men that would enjoy having her on their arm. george is a dick. (and i still say randy gerber is his lover!)

  28. @Anna - that kind of makes sense. I was watching the E! red carpet for the GGs, and when asked about her Armani Prive dress, she said it was flown in the night before. That's cuttin' it a bit close, eh?

And, in case any of you forgot, Cloon was ALSO on Roseanne!

    ReplyDelete
  29. @Evil, I consider him only a movie actor. His career has primarily been only movies, aside from one show years ago.

    ReplyDelete
  30. he's a serious dick. and yet, hollywood loves him and his specific brand of irish-flavored bs. (I can say that bec. I'm irish). also, he's a horrible actor who plays the same every single role, with a few minor modifications, and he keeps on getting those awards.

I didn't watch much of the golden globes, but I did see hugh jackman's speech and daniel day lewis's speech. if george wants to see what a real man looks like, he should re-watch their speeches. two of the most talented, handsome men in the world. and their humility and the love they have for their wives.

and georgie gets off by torturing his latest arm candy.

    ReplyDelete
  31. @Me - Clooney has a lot of power in Hollywood. If she did a public dumping, her career would pretty much be in the toilet. (Geez, I can't believe I put it that way, but there you are...)

One thing I will say about George and his lady friends - he treats them with respect. He doesn't break up with them publicly or gab about what they were like to the press or "sources".

If you're a woman going into a relationship with a known permanent bachelor (are they still called bachelors if they were married once? Hmmm), you know what you're getting into. Enjoy the ride and leave the drama behind, that's the Clooney ticket.

Keibler is a ring rat, no telling the filthy shit she'd partake in for Clooney.

Clooney's a dick. Does he have no heart? Just leaving her hanging, wondering, no money, no home, no career on her own, just his girlfriend on a string, like a cat toy, she can be kept waiting, she doesn't matter, she's just a toy, an inanimate object, not a living, breathing, feeling person with needs, fears, and emotions. What a complete jerk. I really dislike him now. Definitely a bearding situation.

By the way Libby: I just wanted to say that I read your post on the Mental Illness thread a couple of days ago. Many of us fall in to the depression category. Don't worry, you are most definitely NOT alone. I struggle with depression, and when I didn't work, felt suicidal every day. It helps me to have a job to go to, a reason to get up out of bed, otherwise I just sit and get more and more depressed. I use weed to feel happier, it's impossible to be sad when you're hi. Not that illegal drugs are a cure all. I think alot of people feel the way you do, they just don't admit it, and that it's normal to need to get out of the house and do something. You're not weird. You're not broken, or dysfunctional. You're a good person, you're doing your best, you are appreciated, you are special and needed in your life. Please don't ever do anything to hurt yourself. If you're ever really feeling down, you can always turn here for a pick me up. We like you, we appreciate you! It's ok to get in a rut in life, and it's ok to struggle, just don't you ever give up dammit! Don't ever, ever give up. Things will get better for you, life goes in cycles, things change, circumstances change, people change. Look after yourself, see what makes you feel better, what you can do to be happier, what sounds fun, etc. You hang in there girl, you're way too funny and interesting to be down and so hard on yourself. You hang in there!!!

This is Clooney. Keibler is in the Random Photos.

I think Keibler is better than most of his past gf's (not Celine, I liked her) but not by much.

I hope he takes his Mom to the Oscars. Or Stan.

  53. I'm almost crying reading this thread.

  54. Clooney does commercials overseas, can't be him! Lol

This is too easy! Part of me feels sympathy for her but I think she knew it would end eventually.

  55. what DBZee said. george is george. anyone who gets into that deal should know it's not permanent and enjoy it while it lasts. they look pretty happy and pampered to me.

  56. Is it just me or does Clooney just look old and in pain all the time? I know he had a serious back injury. He's lost the sparkle he used to have. If I were him, I would keep Stacy because she'll be able to lift him in and out of bed in a few years! Personally, I like her and I think he's lucky to have her. She's such a good sport.

  57. Well, I can answer that. He's taking me, so she's O-U-T.

  60. The best way to define an all-movie actor is:

Would he or she take a regular role in a TV series or audition for one?

(Not counting a cameo or as a guest star on a couple episodes. Examples: Goop on "Glee" and Maury on "HIMYM.")

    ReplyDelete
  61. If it was George+current she did pretty well either preparing for it anyway or sorting out a last minute dress.

    Girl looked HOT.
