Veronica only because I've been known to steal boyfriends but if this is in regards to the new MAC line of makeup, I'm a Betty because that Veronica lipstick is ugh.
I'm a Betty who can turn on the Veronica when I want, I guess. But I'm really not like either of them. Betty is too perfect and Veronica is too bitchy.
Its funny, i saw myself as a betty, but feedback from others shows they viewed me as a veronica. You really arent the best judge of who u are. Just reread this, this was years ago, not recently, lol. Was in impromptu reunion situation
Damn it, Krab, I'm supposed to be Lucy--my mother always said so! ;-) (Seriously, if I'd ever had a daughter, I wanted to name her Lucy... *sigh*) Alternatively, I suppose I could be Hothead Paisan, Homicidal Lesbian Terrorist, except I'm none of those 3 particular things...but I do appreciate the ways in which she deals with rapists and the like. :-)
I'm a Gemini so I get to be both. Remember the scene in Chasing Amy when Jason Lee goes ballistic when told Archie is actually in love with Jughead? " Archie is the queen of Jugheads world " hahaha
Sorry, @krab and @robin, my high school nickname was Lucy because I was so bossy, and then I played her in a community theater version of "Snoopy", I totally get dibs on this one! But in the Archie world, all Betty, and I was a total Archie comics fan, I totally wanted to Betty when I grew up.
@JSierra "Betty" was just slang for "pretty girl" referring to the 30s terminology after Betty Grable (which incidentally may have been where Betty Cooper's name came from so I guess we could argue you're not wrong) - I know seems like a stretch for high school students but that's what you get with incredibly smart and talented writing, excellent acting, as a version of the 90s in a movie.

ReplyDeleteA bit of Betty, a bit of Veronica, and just enough Big Ethel to make it a party.
ReplyDeleteI'm a Betty who can turn on the Veronica when I want, I guess. But I'm really not like either of them. Betty is too perfect and Veronica is too bitchy.
ReplyDeleteHa, on the other hand, maybe I *am* a Veronica.
Jughead.

ReplyDeleteNever followed the comics. Just found a test online; apparently I'm a Veronica.

ReplyDeleteI'm Velma all the way. :-)

ReplyDeleteIf my comment ever gets there and stays there, I'm a Betty, except I wouldn't go out with a guy like Archie (who couldn't make up his mind).
ReplyDeleteI'm a Gemini so I get to be both.
ReplyDeleteRemember the scene in Chasing Amy when Jason Lee goes ballistic when told Archie is actually in love with Jughead? " Archie is the queen of Jugheads world " hahaha
Veronica because that's my name.
ReplyDeleteVeronica in looks, Betty in personality. Or maybe Jughead in personality. ;-)
ReplyDeleteSabrina, because I can be a real witch.
ReplyDeleteI am the Little Red-Haired Girl.
ReplyDeleteI'm a girl, but I'm Archie. I mean well and try hard, but I usually get the short end of the stick...

Wow epiphany moment, this is what Cher was talking about in Clueless when she said "She's a total Betty".
ReplyDeleteI am a little embarrassed about that.
I'm a betty who looks like ron.

No more dark chocolate for me after 8 ;)
A Veronica less the boyfriend stealing with a dash of Betty.
ReplyDeleteI went through a phase when I was younger and I was obsessed with these comics.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a Betty. I liked Archie.
