Clive Davis Talks About Bisexuality

Clive Davis has a new autobiography coming out. This replaces his old autobiography he wrote before which is now out of print. In his new book which is extremely long or at least feels that way, Clive talks about himself a lot. He also name drops every name in the record industry and how without him they would have been failures. In the book he also discusses his bisexuality which he has never discussed before. Clive says that since 1985 he has exclusively dated men and that he wanted to discuss it before but couldn't.

  4. If you are still sexually attracted to the other gender as well, I would say you are bisexual.

  6. I went to the Grammy tribute to Whitney Houston at the end of last year. He attended with his wife - it was announced by one of the hosts and they were given a standing ovation.

  7. Off-topic, but a good post on which to bring it up: On my way into the office this morning I saw a license plate that was ### GMD, and in my head I went, "GAY MIDGET DWARF! GAY MIDGET DWARF!!"

Just had to share. And good for Clive!

  9. @Amber - ha! I drove by a bank the other day; their sign simply says RCB (Regional Commerce Bank?), but in my head, I said, "Hey, Rejected Care Bear!"

Could be signs that we may be a little over-involved in our CDaN lives? Nah, no way :-).

  28. Wait what? He has a wife? Is she his beard because NY Post says he's been in a relationship with a man for the past 7 years and before that another man for 13 years, it doesn't mention a wife.

  29. Clive divorced his second and last wife in '85. He's been in an LTR with his current partner since '04. They travel and attend events together. It's been one of the worst kept 'secrets' in the industry for decades! Glad he's finally halfway out.

  30. Yeah I'm with all of you who think the talking about yourself a lot seems par for the course in an autobiography. I'll bet this is a good read though.(Adds it to list)

  34. I guess he has lived a lie most of his life, not surprised he has a selective memory. Good for Kelly for setting the record straight.

  35. caralw, great link !

  36. It's always "bisexual" before admitting to being gay. Elton John did the exact same thing. I don't know why there is a rest stop at being bisexual.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Who cares. It's too damn late.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Wow, he was a major dick to Kelly! So happy an asshole like Clive didn't slow her down! It looks like I may be the only one who had no idea about his sexual preference. I never found him interesting enough to learn more about him, I suppose.

Um not to split hairs but exclusively dating men for years means your gay, sorry Clive.
