Kristen Stewart Is Banned From Australia - By Robert Pattinson

I'm not sure that Robert Pattinson can ban Kristen Stewart from Australia but he can keep her off the set of the movie he is filming there. The couple have gone about 8 weeks without seeing each other and judging by her behavior the other night, she probably hopes Robert will stay gone a little longer. With no more Twilight movies coming out, there really is no reason for them to be together anymore. Press trip was completed. No more to do. They can smile and hug at the 20th anniversary release party.

Those books, those movies, this p.r. relationship are just spank mags for prepubescent girls. Alot of deep stares, forbidden love, longing, chivalry, drama, we can't ever be together, go away, no stay, but I can gaze at you longingly and bite my lip. How is it any different from any other bodice ripper you can buy at the supermarket? Oh right because the characters were teenagers and the guys are sparkly vampires and hot werewolves. Totally asinine, in my opinion.

And what's wrong with romance novels exactly?

  3. Enty, you are such a jerk and you are willfully ignoring the FACT that Kristin visited Robs mom and Rob called her and begged her on Feb 7. Things are not over, you are just so obviously miserable with yourself that you cannot see this.

    2. Oh Jules, I thought your reply was serious. I was about to comment that if KStew was calling Rob's mom, it was more likely that she was looking for a hookup.

  10. She doesn't have a whole lot going on right now. I think people are starting to distance themselves from her.

What with her being a really horrible actress and all.

  11. The Twihards will either be elated that he is available, or crying their eyes out that this immortal love is over.
They both look like bathing is a foreign concept.

  12. But I thought she loved him, loved him, and was soooooo sorry.

Well, this answers my question from yesterday as to whether or not the gig was up yet, lol.

  13. Rob is actually a very clean Guy. This photo is from set of his new film set in the Australian desert. Kristen has 3sketchy projects in the works; Snow White 2 (obviously sketchy), Focus (Ben Affleck dropped out and no one is showing interest), and a film about a Guy who falls in love with her feet(NOT JOKING). Rob has a shitload of prestigious roles ahead, including one where he plays the interrogator that had a hand in capturing Hussein. If Kristen doesn't start kissing asses and begging for forgiveness soon, who knows where she'll be.

There is absolutely nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing wrong with bodice rippers and I've often thought I would like to break in to that genre myself! I have an extensive collection of my own. I just don't like how the book series and films was touted to be a big important, ground breaking deal, when it was written so so poorly, with no character depth, back story, nuances, complexity, nothing, just sighing and lip biting. "Come be with us, become one of us." Anne Rice did that dynamic and same story many many times in the Vampire series. The twilight thing got so big, because of the star power and girl crushes on Rob Pattinson, imo. The poor guy has been stalked, harassed and hounded by the fan girl and fan woman mania surrounding him, and it's all over a teenage poorly written romance novel, nothing more than that. Perhaps we can go on to write the next Fifty Shades of Gray between the two of us Livia? Not that I'm in to bondage, but it's just surprising what makes it out there in the marketplace.

    1. @Anna yeah, Twilight was poorly written. I just wanted to point out that romance novel is not synonymous with drivel. There are badly written ones, of course, as with any genre, but there are plenty out there that are well-written, good books.

And I'm all for getting together to write the next run-away best-seller. Maybe we can all do a CDAN collaboration fictionalizing the sexy scandals of Hollywood.

  17. Took me a minute to figure out Jules was joking..Very funny. I think I hear the clock ticking down for Kristen. She may have bit some hands that fed her in past interviews.

  18. I heard they had a secret rendezvous in American Samoa. The paps aren't very good there & they got away with it.

  19. @Livia I started with reading my mom and grandma's True Story's and magazine like that when I was a pre-teen lol and romance novels since I was in my teens maybe I have read one of yours.
I have been in groups for those that aspire to try and learn to write. I have also been in a few online groups that each person writes something and everyone reads it and tells you what they think. I have never had the guts to go any further than that though.

  20. Lisa,

Are you writing in the romance genre? Do you have a completed manuscript? I can't encourage you enough to submit! There are so many avenues for publication - small epubs, large epubs, small and large print publishers, some will even take unagented submissions. You could even self-publish through Amazon.

There is no guarantee you will get published, but you will 100% NOT be published if you don't try. Even without publication, writing can be so rewarding. The first manuscript I finished is a piece of crap that will never see the light of day, but I will never regret writing it or feel anything other than an immense sense of accomplishment for having done it.

I went to school for my MFA. I write romance and urban fantasy and someday hope to be published. It's so exciting to hear that you are able to make a living writing. It seems so rare.

  24. Always knew it was a fake publicity pairing and that they'd drop the pretense after promoting the last installment.
