Blind Item #2

This former A list comedian with erratic behavior got in one of his usual knockdown drag out fights with his wife. They started throwing things at each other and a big mug hit one of their children in the head and knocked him out requiring a trip to the hospital.

  1. Does Dave Chappelle have kids?

    1. I saw Jerry's wife on that shitfest Anderson Cooper calls a talk show a few months back. Girl looks like a thrower and not the throw-ee. Attitude.

  4. I was thinking Martin Lawrence

  5. Oh Dave :(

I think he has 2 sons.

  6. Google says he had two sons and a daughter. I'll go with Dave.

  7. Part of me wants to say Katt Williams, but would he be A-List?

If this was the 90s, this would definitely be Phil Hartman and his wife. RIP.

Maybe Chris Rock? Although is he considered erratic?

So, I'm going to go with Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor

  8. @Unknown, Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor were my first guess. I don't know if we've heard anything about physical abuse with them, but mental/emotional abuse can escalate.

  9. What an awful story - that poor child.

  10. If this was a real story then CPS would have been called and someone would have leaked exclusive information to a media outlet.

    1. @whocaresnow. Not necessarily, contrary to popular belief, CpS is not called every time a kid is brought to the ER for stitch or broken bones.

  11. @Karen my thoughts exactly. He's a known cheater, and compound that with his recent "not-so-successes" in film, I can only imagine the tensions in their home are high

  12. Ben Stiller was a popular guess for abuse to his wife. He was my first thought.

  13. WTF were they doing fighting in front of their child. I dont give a shit about who this asshole/and wife are, but I'm very concerned for the child.

  14. Not real, but if it was, it'd be Katt Williams. Chapelle's erratic behavior extends to one really bizarro situation a few years ago.

  15. @maximus- Chapelle also freaked out on an airplane a few years ago and it was forced to land without reaching the intended destination soo there's another bizarro situation.

  16. This is so not Dave Chapelle.

  17. I was going to guess Danny Devito but he's divorced.

  18. I know Ben Stiller throws things at people on set, so I must assume he throws things at home, too. Asshole.

I thought Stiller too but it says comedian not comedic actor. A small difference but I think this is someone that was primarily a stand up comedian.

I guess Dave C. Mainly because I can't think of any other A list comics married with kids and an anger issue.

Dave Chapelle is not erratic!!so it cant be him

  21. I think it's Martin Lawrence. Although I hate to think it's anyone! Guess that kid will learn to duck from now on. (Sorry I couldn't help it.)

  22. whoever this is, I hope lesson is learned. Get a hold of ourself for godsakes!

  23. I don't think Katt Williams is married (although he does have several children).

The DeVitos'got back together recently, so he's not divorced. His kids aren't small, and if this is him that was a low-flying mug.

Agree with katydid, Stiller is a comedic actor and a producer but he doesn't do stand up so, not a comedian. Also, he's done serious roles.

    Martin Lawrence FTW.

  24. I thought Bill Murray for this. He's had some domestic issues, right?

    1. A nutcase wife was his domestic issue. He has custody of his kids, so that further shows how goofy your guess was. I also doubt he is considered a "comedian." He's an actor.

  25. Ben Stiller. He has a look in his eyes I don't like. I think there was also a blind about him (revealed) about him commandeering his wife around and yelling at her in public.

  27. Both Ben Stiller and Dave Chappelle are/were A list. Dave has certainly had erratic behavior in the past but I don't think any of it has had to do with violence, more like stressing/freaking HIMSELF out. Ben isn't really known for being erratic but he is rumored to have anger issues, food issues, and emotional abuse issues. Between the two, it seems Ben would be a better fit.

  28. @hohotheat's comment about Danny Divito made me lol way harder than it should've, considering.

How about Tracy Morgan? His erratic behavior was supposed to be blamed on diabetes and altitude sickness, but I call bullshit on that. He's just an ass.

  29. some of you seem to think that CPS cares and does the things they talk about in TV. they don't. my ex has broken one of my kids arms, another's collar bone, sprained a shoulder, punched, kicked, pushed, slapped, them etc. NO ONE DOES ANYTHING. the police and CPS are vey bored by these visits. we have had so many CPS visits, i lost count. nothing ever comes of it.

  30. Me: do you have help to get away from this guy before somebody ends up dead? If I was dealing with a guy like that, I'd disappear to another state. Your only other choice would be to take it to a local TV station and have them call out local CPS on their broadcast, if there's a paper trail of this....

  31. Wow - I was going to say something smart about my similar childhood until I saw Me's comment. Brings me to tears. I pray you and your family get real assistance and peace. Is there a women's shelter you and your children can get to while he is at work or whatever? Any family or friend? Hell, if you are ever in DC y'all can stay with me

  32. I read this as Jim Carrey.

  33. And in hospitals, even if we as healthcare workers call CPS (it's called something different in every state), that doesn't necessarily mean that anything will be done. Yes they'll usually come and assess the situation, but more often than not we are frustrated because the children are allowed to go right back on living in a dangerous situation. That system is very broken and unfortunately I don't know if it will be fixed anytime soon.
