Looks like someone is volunteering to be Anchor Man for his class. Or the guy in headphones is a plebe being relentlessly hazed by an upperclassman. Can't decide which.
Make no mistake, exams at Annapolis (and the other academies) are easily four or five times more intense than the more traditional/civilian university experience.
My hubby is an AF Academy grad, and this definitely reminds me of all the stories he would tell me about finals week. Lots of funny shenanigans :) those kids had to keep their sanity somehow!
Not sure what to make of this but I love the Military Academies and the leaders they produce.
ReplyDeleteSo was Enty always a 20 year old person, and I just never realized it before? I guess it's my own fault for not just sticking to the Blind Items.
ReplyDeleteI didn't think it was funny but I'd love to have that Navy t shirt. And yes, the military academies produce some great individuals!
ReplyDeletemore idiot frat boy humor, except in the navy? seriously, and they say women aren't funny.
ReplyDeleteI am from a navy family (5 generations) and think that this is hysterical. Thanks Enty!!

ReplyDeleteI thought it was clever. Made me laugh. But then I am delirious with exhaustion & am quite easily amused.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of those "Guess you had to be there" funnies. Good luck to the young men though. We're proud of you!!!
