Wade Robson Says Michael Jackson Forced Him To Have Sex With Michael
Wade Robson was on Today this morning and says that when he was between the ages of 7 and 14 that Michael Jackson forced Wade to perform sexual acts on Michael and that Michael performed sexual acts on Wade. The reason Wade has not said anything previously was that Michael manipulated him and told him it was love not molestation and that he would ruin them both if he said anything.

The man is dead; let it go.
ReplyDeleteWould u say that about mengele? I dont think so.
DeleteI get the feeling there's a claim against the estate coming up next.
ReplyDeleteIt's too late, if this is true he should have said so while Michael was alive. It's over.
ReplyDeleteIf it's true then he has a right to tell his story whenever he wants. There should be no statute of limitations on the truth.
ReplyDeleteSo if an abuser is dead then everything is fine? Interesting point of view.
ReplyDelete+1 all dead sexual predators get a pass now? Disgusting
DeleteClaims brought forth after the person can no longer defend themselves are always suspect. That being said...I think Michael was a sad and flawed person who may well have thought this was love.
ReplyDeleteSad all the way around, if true for
the young boy, if not for the lie of the grown man.
Anyone who has ever been a victim understands that it is difficult to accuse even the most guilty, to look someone in the eye and talk about it.
ReplyDeleteI think the reason I believe Wade is that he couldn't face Michael alive, there is a part of you that feels guilt and shame and probably even love or loyalty of some kind when you know your abuser.
Suing a dead guy? Please. Either way he is a liar. Either he perjured himself when he defended Michael on the stand when he was questioned or he is lying now. If this really is true he had every opportunity to tell his story on the stand when Michael was alive. Not buying it
ReplyDeleteIf this is his truth, his perpetrator being dead makes no difference. One can not heal without moving through the process to heal fully. I hope this brings Wade closure. Fuck the Jackson estate, fuck those lawyers, fuck anyone who covers/lies for child abusers. Fuck them all.
ReplyDeleteAmen sista!! And fuck the parents who take huge settlements and tell kid to shut up.
DeleteThank You, Thank You, Thank You!
DeleteAgreed
DeleteIt's horrible to doubt a possible victim of sexual abuse. Just because Michael is dead doesn't mean Wade does not have a right to speak out. Maybe people will finally learn how Michael really was.
ReplyDeleteGoogle Jimmy Saville. He was a "national treasure" at the time of his death...now he couldn't be further from that.
It doesn't matter if he's dead or not. We know that Michael would never admit it even if he lived to be 90.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure he did molest the boy. There are way to many people who came forward with stories. Look at how many other filthy rich celebrities there are and how most of them don't have people claiming these things.
I wonder about McCaulay. Will he come forward someday too?
I'm very sorry for anyone who has faced abuse, but coming out with this after the man is dead and cannot respond is the wrong thing to do.
ReplyDeleteAnd in public...why? I doubt a therapist would say that the way to deal with the abuse would be to go to the media.
I will never believe this simply because the parents of the first so-called victim that started this whole mess chose money over justice. They all chose money over justice, therefore I believe they're all full of shit.
ReplyDeletetheres no proof...and now it's just too late
ReplyDeleteAs a victim of sexual abuse, I know that coming forward is hella scary and took me years to admit to anyone outside my immediate family that my sexual assault did happen. I lied about it for years and years but only recently came to understand that admitting the assault, allowing myself to feel the sadness, anger, just all that goes with confronting the truth has finally helped me heal. Therapy along with a lot of personal work has finally freed me from my shame, depression, unhealthy habits. I'm now 42, my sexual assault happened more than twenty years ago. I believe Wade, it take time to allow yourself to accept that this has happened to you, that you somehow allowed it to happen and protected your abuser. My props to him for coming forward!
ReplyDelete@Melissa S
DeleteYou said almost everything I wanted to say. I wish you the best. Dealing with this shit is tough and as a 14 year old I can't imagine, especially being in the spotlight. I commend him for coming forward.
I was a very young child when my Grandfather molested me. In my late teens, I finally had the courage to talk about it. Because I was the only accuser, I was seen as a liar & became the victim of more ( emotional & physical) abuse by family members that didn't want my claims to be true. When my grandfather finally passed away, a few months ago, many more people admitted to their stories of sexual abuse. one of them was his youngest sister who had been holding her secret for over 70 years.
Deletewho cares when the victim chooses to heal. the pain & confusion cannot be imagined by outsiders. If you don't have first-hand information to contribute, please don't add any shame to the victims journey.
MISCH it is never too late. Google Jimmy Saville. It may be too late for justice but not for the truth
ReplyDeleteDidn't one of Jackson's accusers make a statement after Michael's death that his story was false and his parents made him lie about being abused?
ReplyDeleteI don't give a damn if MJ was a "sad flawed individual who thought this was love". Pedophilia is pedophilia. The motive behind the abuser is irrelevant. Or would it be ok if an adult who "thought this was love" had sex with YOUR kid? Or does it make a difference if the abuser is famous and/or talented?
ReplyDeleteAnd yet no one has ever come out against Dan Scheider, hmmmm
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure all of Dan's victims are being hushed via hard drugs and a slow decent into mental illness no? Most of them have "handlers"
Delete*backs away slowly*
ReplyDelete*holds door open*
Delete*tries not to trip on the way out*
@Gayeld. Lmao.
DeleteI never understand why MJ gets such a pass. In my eyes, it was so clear he is a pedophile. Just because he made good music and could dance should not negate his despicability az a person. I don't care if he was flawed: so are all the other pedophiles.
ReplyDeleteThank you @docrocsoc agreed!
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
DeleteYes! I'll never understand it either
DeleteOnce again where there's smoke there's fire. I agree that he has every right to speak up whenever he wants to.
ReplyDeleteIf you've never been abused, you don't know how tough it is to come forward. So all of you who say it's 'suspect'...I say STFU!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Susan! I can't believe my eyes with some of these comments, smdh.
ReplyDeleteHigh five Meanie Reese!
ReplyDeleteI said this on Enty's last post on this issue, but it bears repeating -
ReplyDeleteI was an abused child too, and I was scared and horribly embarrassed and ashamed. People suspected, and asked me about it throughout my childhood - I lied and lied and lied about it. It really wasn't until I was an adult that I admitted that it was true. I absolutely believe Wade.
To my sister/brother survivors: Peace, light and love.
ReplyDeleteI would love to see him take a polygraph or lie detector test just to show he has nothing to hide. Part of me believes him.
ReplyDeleteJust because someone has doubts about this story doesn't mean we're blind to MJ's obvious faults, nor does it mean that we're belittling those who suffer/have suffered abuse.
ReplyDeleteWith all due respect Melanie, telling us to STFU isn't cool. I doubt you care about that, and that's fine.
But what it does is shut off people who are willing to hear your take on the topic.
We're not out to make your lives any tougher than they are.
I'm Meanie, not Melanie, but thanks anyway. ;)
ReplyDeleteHe needs to drop the claim against the estate--that is most of why he is getting such a backlash.
ReplyDeleteI kind of believe this could be true--and I too think it is very possible he was so manipulated he is just getting to some point where he is thinking clearly.
He should drop any legal action and do some big interview or write a book and go on Dr Phil to tell his story and get it off his chest.
It is tying it to money that clouds the issue. If it IS true he has every right to tell what happened to him--and it is probably the only way he's going to heal and move on.
At this point Michael is gone and if he was still alive he'd deny it like he did before.
I believe Wade, and maybe the fact that he has his own child now affects changes what he wants the world to know as his truth.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad CK just mentioned that the reason he is talking about it now is because he now has a young child. I was on the fence about him before, declaring this after all these years after denying it, BUT having a child changes so much, and damn if he does seem totally trustworthy in the interview.
ReplyDeleteI think some people are underestimating how hard it is for someone (especially a man) to come out and say this.
ReplyDeleteIf it is true, there is no statute of limitations on admitting the truth. People always seem to defend MJ no matter what bc of his icon status. Let's face it, you don't get accused of impropriety with young boys as many times as he did without there being some truth to it. The man looked like a child toucher, and probably was.
His talent in no way absolves him from being evil and manipulative-I don't care what he went through in his life.
I believe him too and sometimes the only justice you can get is to sue. So it isn't about the money it is about closure and justice.
ReplyDeleteSo I disagree he should drop the suit.
I believe him 100%, and wld never doubt abuse victim. Very few are fabrucated. I dint think money devalues his actions at all; its the only currency society values. And really, what proof are u gonna have anyway? U less theres a video tape, it curcumstancal anyway. Everyone with half a brain knows mj pedophile. Instead of villifying this man, we shld be supporting him and empathizing. There may be someone out there who was going to come forward that maybe now says ut oh better not, look how they treating him. Look at f*cking sanddusky for goddsakes-he was caught raping!!!!!!! CAUGHT!!!! And still oeople didnt believe it!!!!!! I am all for victim. Hugs to all of you.
ReplyDeleteAnyone who didn't already strongly suspect that this was going on must have been asleep or delusional. If the California criminal justice system hadn't bent the law completely out of shape to protect him, MJ would have been charged and convicted of having sex with young boys while he was still alive.
ReplyDeleteHorrible! Too bad that paedophile never got proper punishment.
ReplyDeleteI believe him. I loved MJ, but I also accept that he was a deeply disturbed man.
ReplyDeleteI can't decide if I believe him or not...but what I do not agree with is his sole patch...
ReplyDeleteI wonder what Justin Timberlake thinks about all this? the man's credibility has been tarnished a looong time ago. He likes the spotlight. Yes, we would never know the truth but please. if it did happen and you're not repressing anything, you don't go all out and say how great he was when he passed away, or testify in front of a judge. He should be the one sued for lying under oath
ReplyDeleteI also believe Wade, and agree with everyone who states that it was probably a difficult and drawn out process to push himself to come out about it.
ReplyDeleteWhat to me may be most interesting, is the fact that MJ used intimidation about their careers to pressure W into not talking.
To me, it seems, if any of these cases were found legit, what other dominoes of abuse would fall? Who molested Michael or taught him about this behavior? As a young boy in the entertainment industry it seems suspect that MJ may have also suffered abuse from a powerful person(s) in the industry. Thus, causing him to abuse others?
Whether or not Wade was abused or if Michael really was a creepy pedo is not my issue. My issue was going to the media period. There is no therapeutic purpose to it and it just reeks of money-grubbing to me.
ReplyDeleteWhat if it encourages other victims to come forward though? And if he's money grubbing as you say, I think he deserves compensation after what he's been through.
DeleteSo if he is telling the truth, he denied two other people justice for what happened to them by lying on the stand about it. Am I supposed to feel sorry for him now? Please.
ReplyDelete@Susan B, I was abused by a relative as a child and would never condone abuse, or the cover up of a pedophile. I wasn't sticking up for sad flawed Michael, I was repeating what he is said to have told this young man as a cover for his own sick behavior.
ReplyDeleteYou're right, a pedophile is a pedophile and there is no excuse that would ever carry any weight with me.
We're on the same side.
I wouldn't be letting it go just because the guy was dead, if this happened to me. I also wouldnt' go telling the whole world about it. It could be that it's all a scam, but if he really wanted to scam him why didnt' he say anything before MJ died? Loyalty? friendship? Or it didn't actually happen? Was he getting a nice monthly check from Jackson while he was alive? I don't get the feeling the guy's full of it. I believe him, but he's a little tardy to the party. I can't believe I just used that.
ReplyDeleteI like u more now u used that stupid phrase. And what u said. <3
DeleteWho knows if he is lying but back in 2005 he testified or gave deposition denying that he messed around with MJ. It will be hard to get a jury to believe him.
ReplyDeleteHey Breck, if it were a "sole" patch, it would be on the bottom of his foot.
ReplyDeleteI do believe he deserves compassion for what he's been through, however.. this should be dealt with privately with a psychologist/therapist/counsellor and/or supportive friends and family. The only people left to hurt by making this public are Jackson's children, and they are innocent and should not have to go through this. Whatever Michael did, and I believe it was a lot of bad stuff, it can't be made right now. And it definitely can't be made right by money. It doesn't make it ok what happened, but it can't be undone. Hurting the children will not make it better, and it will be better for them in their lives if they can be left to believe that their father was a good man.
ReplyDelete@Meli, EXACTLY. If he was indeed abused then he has my deepest sympathies, but like those of you here who have been abused have said: it's hard for a victim to talk about it to friends and family, and this guy is ok talking to the national media about it? That's what makes me give him some side eye.
ReplyDeleteWho knows when this guy told his family. It could have been years ago and now he's decided to go to the media. Yeah, it's not a great move but just because MJ is dead doesn't undo what happened or what Robson feels. If it's true then it's probably super hard seeing people giving him a pass these days.
ReplyDeleteBeing molested doesn't mean that you don't feel torn by warped ties of loyalty due to friendship, family, or obligation.
ReplyDeleteMichael Jackson was largely responsible for Wade's successful career, and Wade's family was dependent on him in certain ways.
My abuser was my uncle, I am 35 years old now and still feel shame and repulsion when I see him.
I have never accused him face to face. For me, it was because my family never protected or supported me, although they knew .
I have a feeling that Wade's family swept it under the rug because they "owed" him , that really messes with your head as bad or worse than the actual abuse. I can imagine why he didn't want to accuse Michael to his face.
@sarah - I don't know if Robson is lying or not and I have suspected that MJ was guilty of something. If your uncle had been charged and tried with abusing someone else when you were 22 or 23 would you have testified that he did not molest you? I ask because that is what Robson did in 2005. I think it will be hard for a jury to believe him now when he testified to that as an adult and now it does look like a money play.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I don't know if I could bring myself to face him in court.
DeleteMy mother would not forgive me, and as much as I hate her for that in a way, it would be difficult to do the right thing.
Wade's family had a vested interest in the outcome of things, if he felt like he was going against both Michael and his family that could be very difficult.
I don't really know what to believe.
ReplyDeleteIf this is true, he deserves the chance to confront the estate. In that case, I hope he will find a way to heal.
But if it isn't...
I wonder what AEG has on him. The lawsuit currently going on could end up costing them a substantial amount of money (not the billions the Jacksons are demanding, but a substantial amount nonetheless). It could also cost them future business. People have killed/accused/harmed/ruined other people for a lot less.
MJ's nephew Taj is now claiming on his twitter page that he was molested as a boy (by a family member on his mother's side), and MJ helped him through it.
oh u guys...I'm a super long time lurker and sad as it sounds I totally feel like I know u all personally. Newho on the topic if a woman helps her husband molest a la Precious (based on a novel by Saphire) the woman is a monster. Wade helped Mj get away with it when he perjured himself and likely helped to allow a pedophile to stay free and molest again. To me, being abused does not give u the right to abuse other. Best case he's lying now and is a dbag. worst case he lies then an is an accessory to crimes against children.
ReplyDeleteIt’s a bogus claim, he had previously (and twice) under oath testified that MJ had never molested him or had sex, etc.
ReplyDeleteIf he was really concerned why not approach it more quietly and through the appropriate channels, not blurting it out via the media like some hero.
Look at his job situation! Works drying up… get some publicity…needs more exposure for money.
I think it is "easier" for him to come forward because MJ is dead, and no not because MJ cannot be confronted exactly but look how many put MJ on a pedestal and how he got away with it for many years. Who can fight that...uh nobody could and the pedophile got away it.
ReplyDeleteOkay so he is saying it is not a repressed memory he now just realized it was molestation, after testifying for Michael - he only now realizes that he was molested..for 7 years. Something just does not add up here.
ReplyDeleteBelieve it. Wait til Prince and Blanket realize what happened. And Paris, not because she went through it, but knew it. Wait. It will happen. Predator pedophiles don't stop until they are stopped.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Wade is speaking out. It's extra tragic that he was complicit in denying a few of MJ's other victims justice. I'm sure guilt over that fed into the nervous breakdowns he had.
ReplyDeleteThe only reason any rational person would reject this obvious truth for so many years is because they don't want to feel guilty while tapping their toes to Thriller. It's asinine.
He was a pedophile, and a talented man. He did some awful things and some good things. People just can't wrap their minds around that.
I don't believe it. Wade's looking to get paid. It's possible wade was blackballed by JT for messing with Britney.
ReplyDeleteI watched his show a decade ago, he was slimy and cocky and extra douchey.
He's had several yrs to claim this, or anytime in the past almost 4 YEARS since MJ died.
If true, then there's no time frame or expiry date. I'm an experienced counsellor in trauma, more specifically sexual and domestic violence.
ReplyDeleteIf untrue, he has to live with that and hopefully the truth will be unsurfaced.
Considering Wade's age at the time it is likely IF abused that he could have repressed, reframed what happened whilst being manipulated by an adult.

It will never be "over" for Wade. Good for him for coming forward.
ReplyDeleteDespite the repeated claims, people just don't want to believe it because then they might feel obligated to stop listening to his music and take him down off a pedestal.
ReplyDeleteTo those who think its suspect that the victim has spoken up now, this is not unusual. Its very hard to speak up when you still feel loyalty towards a person, despite what they did to you. It feels like a betrayal and when they are gone you are free to tell the truth.
As others have said, Google Operation Yewtree in the UK.
Sad....someone is always going to doubt him. Obviously something ain't clean in the water at Neverland. Poor guy. Wonder what Britney thinks of all this? Her & MJ are Peter in laws...yuck!
ReplyDeleteBecause of a connection I trust implicitly, I know that MJ was the pedophilic monster that has been reported. As a survivor myself? I was the villain when I told my family. I ended up "recanting" and going along with everyone's theories about confused memories, having a shrink (who asked me once, but respected my wishes not to delve into it ever again) who supposedly 'planted' the memories in my brain... Whatever worked for everyone else. Because my abuser died and everyone else needs to believe otherwise.
ReplyDeleteMy heart goes out to Wade. He will have to deal with his own fallout... And it's not just MJ's kids who will be impacted -- Wade's will as well. So will the kids-now-adults who experienced their own abuse at MJs hands and Wade's testimonies impacted.
I wasn't sure what to believe until I watched the video and listened to Wade tell his story in his own words. Good for him for finding courage through fatherhood to heal. The only way for him to get any justice through our legal system now is to sue Jackson's estate. Best of luck to him!
ReplyDelete
