Today's Blind Items - The Break She Got And Lost
This C+ list mostly television actress who has been in Academy Award winning films and is on a hit network show right now which is kind of similar to another network show had a touch of scandal in her past. She got a huge break in a very hit network show and then got into a huge fight with this B list mostly movie actress after they slept together. It was decided that for the best, our actress would leave the show and that she would be allowed to save face saying it was for something else. Karma caught up with the other actress in a very big way though. Since that time, our actress has not been involved with anyone and tries to stay to herself, although there are rumors that she and her co-star have been seeing each other off set too.

ReplyDeleteOk. Lucy Liu was in Chicago, which won an academy award. She got her break on Ally McBeal, and did leave the show. She was in Cashmere Mafia, Southland and is now in Elementary...I'm clueless as to who the other woman would be. I don't know. I'm confused.

Jennifer Esposito could also be with the show with Charlie Sheen and the mayor (forgot the title). She left all of a sudden, no idea who the other actress would be, besides Heather Locklear, but she is not mostly movies, she is tv.

she is on a show called scandal---a copy cat show is called deception (which just got cancelled)----she was on boston legal and left before the series ended-----she has been in several acclaimed movies ---but never nominated for many awards considering her work---in terms of ranking who the heck knows how enty ranks people these days (he once ranked SEAN YOUNG as "about to become A list again"---and ranked Claire Danes as B list (who is A list)----and there has been lesbian rumors about Washington for years----

ReplyDeleteWhat about Jennifer Morrison? She was on "House", left, came back, then left again. She is now on "Once Upon a Time", which is like "Grimm". Now she is mostly movies, but minor characters. Co-star might be Olivia Wilde, who is now mostly movies.
Kerry was on five episodes of Boston Legal - not exactly a huge break. And between Django and Scandal, there is no way she's C+.

My troubled lesbian Keri (who I really like actually)was in King Of Scotland and Django---I agree she should rank higher that c+ but like I said sometimes entys rankings are messed and we all know that. It seemed a little odd to me that you guessed someone that no one else thought fit the clues, then complained that no one responded to your guess, and then basically said that every other guess was inferior to yours (and that we should "deal with it").

ReplyDelete@Guilty, I thought of Lost too, but the Oscar-stuff doesn't fit:( I even thought of the woman who played Kate, but she wasn't killed off. I thought of her as the other actress who got karma, as in personal issues (a lot!) in her case. Think she was in a mental facility as some point and there are lots of rumors about her being crazy.

ReplyDeleteSasha Alexander left NCIS to marry Sophia Loren's son and raise 2 kids with him--don't think she left because of a lesbian affair. Don't think she's been in an award-winning movie, either.

And I thought WAshington has been the subject of several blinds involving her costar Tony Goldwyn.
Derek -- My problems with the Kerri Washington guess: (1) What show is like Scandal? You say Deception, but that was actually a knock off of Revenge (the producers said as much) and it isn't like Scandal at all beyond both having Black female leads. (2) What show was her "big break" that she was booted off of? She was in 5 episodes halfway through the second season of Boston Legal. It was a supporting role arc, not in any way (a) a big break or (b) intended to be a permanent part of the show. (3) Who would the other actress be if it were Boston Legal? That show didn't have any mostly movie females leads AT ALL (forget rankings).

Didn't Lucy leave Ally McBeal to film Charlie's Angels? She did fight With Bill Murray a lot on that movie so the fighting part sounds a little like her.

Porsha and Lucy sound more likely but "scandal" has been used in many Kerry Washington related blinds so I can see why the B list would fit Kerry......just can't place the C+ to go with it as Kerry allegedly likes her girls a lot lighter than Taraji.
Okay Lucy fit all the clues she been in several Oscar nominated movies but who the B-list actress because Portia is a tv star and I looked at the ally Mcbeal cast women they all tv stars. Taraji make sense she been in hustle and flow and Benjamin button and she was on Boston legal for a little and so was Kerry Washington (5 episodes ill be it) Kerry is defiantly B-list mostly movie but what karma hit Kerry unless it she had to leave the show as well. Jennifer Goodwin don't have Oscar nominated movies. Ellen Barkins don't either and isn't a B-list movie actress. Claire is A-list. Esposito only did crash. @derek Harvey Kerry isn't a mostly tv actress tho. She could be the b-list actress tho.
