Adam Lambert Joining Glee
I'm not sure that anyone actually watches Glee any longer, but if you do, then next season you can look forward to seeing Adam Lambert on the show. Ryan Murphy announced the news on Twitter and Adam says he is very excited. I think he needed a little career boost like this. I feel like he is kind of stuck in that way American Idol contestants not hitting radio every five seconds get stuck. He is never going to go broke, but this will boost his fame and fortune much higher than another year of touring to smaller venues. So far, there is no word on whether Adam will sing the Kris Allen collection of songs and the Top 20 songs of Finland from 2013. Adam's story line will focus on a closeted gay man who has a crush on Adam.
I am so beyond excited about this!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOmg I've never noticed you post anything but blind answers (not really guesses, since you're always right ;) ) and NSFW links. This adds a whole new dimension that I didn't know about you. ;)
DeleteBarf.
ReplyDeleteNot really a glee fan anymore but I may have to tune in for this. Love me some Adam lambert!
ReplyDeleteIf this means they will finally be fleshing out the NYC side of things I'm game. The show has really gone downhill since focusing so much on the bland newbies.
ReplyDeleteI love Adam, who is Kris Allen again?
ReplyDeleteWell, both Adam's career and Glee could use a boost so maybe this will work.
ReplyDeleteI'm most shocked by the fact that Glee is still on the air. I thought it faded away and died (AKA canceled).
ReplyDeleteWas a glee fan, but lost interest in Season 3. Liked the movie Pitch Perfect though.
ReplyDeleteI don't watch that show, but Glambert can SING! I will be watching the show now to see him. Hes incredible, cute, stylish, hes awesome, and I can't wait to see more from him.
ReplyDeleteStill love Glee despite the less interesting newbies. Nothing else like it and what they accomplish in a week is stunning.
ReplyDeleteI watched in the first season...shouldn't they all be graduated and gone by now?
ReplyDeleteLOVE Adam Lambert, his look is soooo appealing. And he can sing too, haha
Glee sucks, but good for Adam I guess.
ReplyDeleteKris Allen is the guy Adam had an affair with for years. Maybe this means Enty will have more blinds about that relationship.
I still watch Glee and I love it unashamedly. Excited about Adam!
ReplyDeleteHaven't watched Glee at all this season, but may have to tune in next year for this. I don't dislike the show, but our DVR can old hold so much, so that one got the ax.
ReplyDelete@LeeLee, I have never heard that before! I thought Kris Allen was married? I know, doesn't mean he wouldn't cheat. That's the most interesting AI gossip I've read to date.
@Cornbread Enty has had blinds and reveals about them for years but his last one was that they broke up last year
ReplyDeleteI record it and fast forward through the singing.
ReplyDeleteWalking in the footsteps of another Idol runner-up, Jessica Sanchez. I wonder if her Glee appearance helped her career?
ReplyDeleteWho's the closeted gay man who has a crush on Adam?
ReplyDeleteI love Adam and I occasionally watch Glee if it fits a gap in my TV schedule--I would definitely watch if he's on. He is an actor and I think he will be fantastic.
ReplyDeletethis sounds like a freaking blind!
ReplyDeleteI hope Adam is finally over Kris.
ReplyDeleteI liked Glee when Chris Colfer and Mike O'Malley were on a lot. No interest now, but like others have said I may just have to tune in just to see Adam...
ReplyDeleteWow. I just hope Glee fans are ready to accept such an obvious homosexual on the show every week. I mean, besides the current ones. Now, how are they going to make him stand out from the other gays? Is he going to actually wear a rainbow flag as a cape? I do hope he keeps his eyeliner because Glee isn't nearly gay enough, they definitely need a guy with eyeliner and way too much gel in his hair.
ReplyDeleteI liked Glee in the first season. It was well-written and fun and the songs were interesting because they obviously took time with the arrangements. Then I suppose everyone decided they could still keep an audience without working hard. It became lazy and convoluted. I went from rewatching the songs after the episode to actually fast-forwarding them during the episode and cringing at them. I wanted to support it simply because I am a musical dork, through and through. But once the music turned to no more than semi-competent karaoke and the plots got lazy, retconned, and lightswitched, I just stopped. I still think that's a talented group of kids, there, and the premise had potential, but the writing is awful.
ReplyDeleteIf they started playing Finnish pop music on Glee, I'd start watching it today!
