Don't they have contractions in Canada?
Canada?
@Anna, haven't you read that one of the replacement Enties is from Canada?
Of course they have contractions in Canada.
I do not know what you are talking about.

@MichaelaK, awesome link! ;)
I am sure that I do not know what the problem is. Maybe the Enty who writes most of these posts does not know how to use the apostrophe key on her keyboard. Maybe she gets paid by the word and does not want to get paid less by using fewer words.
I am not surprised that this Enty does not know about contractions. It is hard to understand the intricacies of the English language when it is not your first language.
Okay, I see where you are going with this. I talk too much, am Canadian and there was actually a time when my keyboard wouldn't do contractions so I was even wordier than normal. Not me, I swear it! I do not know what you are talking aboot!!
@TalksTooMuch, I promise this was not about you! Unless you are an Enty, of course. ;)
And my grandparents are Canadian. Luckily for me, they learned about contractions when they moved to the U.S. :)
Rad.
Awesome!
Where's the fucking hamster on a piano. Eating popcorn. On a piano (God I love Derrick. Watch it. It's awesome)
I tell you, not being able to use them on my keyboard led to speaking that way and then my three-year-old was walking around saying "No, Mommy, I cannot clean up my room" and it turned into some a bad Canadian knockoff of an English play
