Blind Item #2
If you are an addict I want you to be sober. If you aren't an addict I don't really care if you use drugs or alcohol as long as you don't hurt anyone. What I really don't like is when you are a former A list mostly movie actor who barely resembles the actor or face he was two decades ago and tells the world he is sober and gives interviews where he says that he is sober and then as he is leaving the interview lights up a joint or hides all the bottles before photos of him are taken. It also shows you why his comeback will never get very far despite the help of his fellow plastic surgery addicted actors of the same age.

Mickey Rourke
Page Six said Mickey Rourke left a screening to smoke something other than a cigarette. Also..THAT FACE.
Mickey Rourke. Some people never learn.
Maybe the surgeries have left him with pain and he smokes because of that? Seriously, a joint ain't gonna kill ya!
How did he look after the boxing stint? Did he look that bad afterwards?
Size more/Rourke
@Freya - I thought Rourke got the plastic surgery because the boxing screwed up his face so much. He was so good looking before he started that.
@ Erin B That's what I was thinking. I've never seen any pictures of him after his boxing career. I wonder how he looked.
I was at the Abby in West Hollywood a few weeks ago and sat at the next table where Micky Rouke was and he was downing beers !!!! He was also wearing a blue turban on his head ...... looked awful, really awful and to think he used to be so handsome.
@Freya He was pretty incredible back in the day, wasn't he? It's almost as if his inner ugliness found its way to the surface, too. No plastic surgeon can fix a broken soul.
all aboard the rourke train. he is a disgusting specimen.
I think Muckey already made his comeback his about Val Kilmer who is trying to cone back and is pudgy wudgy now.
Myself, being a drug addict (clean for years), I take offense at the idea that drug use is beautiful when some people do it but ugly when others do it. The diagnostic criteria for dependence and abuse are actually somewhat flimsy, and many many "non-addicts" meet the diagnostic criteria for dependency, abuse, tolerance, and withdrawal. Also, many addicts can do some substances gracefully. I drink wine once in a while, for instance, following the lead of Fergie. Someday I may even smoke marijuana, since I live in a state where it's legal. I can't imagine this should cause you distress.
Just watch Rumblefish. Meeow!
A lot of people that used hard drugs consider alcohol and pot use to ok. I yet to see someone shoot up pot.
The "boxing injuries" are Rourke's version of the "went through a windshield" excuse for extensive (and horrible) plastic surgery. Rourke is addicted to plastic surgery for many of the same reasons Michael Jackson was addicted to plastic surgery. And they're never satisfied, even when they start to resemble Jocelyn Wildenstein (another plastic surgery addict).
Mickey Rourke is a monster who will burn in hell for what he did to Carre Otis.
If it's not Rouke, could it be Kiefer? Is he claiming to be sober?
I don't think Kiefer ever claims to be sober. He likes his drink and does it with pride. This could be anyone from back in the day, like Mickey, Michael Madsen, Sylvester Stallone, Tom Sizemore, Nick Nolte, Val Kilmer, etc.
@Jooliganjonz love that movie
I know Rourke says he needed the plastic surgery because of boxing but I never remember seeing any pictures of any damage that could be attributed to that. Everything he has done to fuck up his face has been from the plastic surgery.
If I can guess these blinds, they aren't blind.
veeee: makes me think of Eric in that entourage episode.
Barton: helps people to remain in denial and sleep at night. You're one of the honest few to acknowledge & name you're addiction, get help, and maintain your recovery. All credit to you. We've all got our poison.
