Blind Items Revealed

May 14, 2013

This A list mostly movie actress is convinced she can sell out a national tour of her singing. Songs. Is she a good singer? Yes. No one actually likes her though and I think she would have a hard time getting anyone to pay money to see her. She is working on setting it up though with just a few cities to start.

Gwyneth Paltrow

  1. Pffft. Has anyone heard her sing, she sounds like she's straining to control her voice. I'll buy a ticket to her show and show up with a handful of tomatoes to throw at her.

I think she should ask her friend beyonce about the difficulties of going on tour and continuing a strict diet and exercise regime... She is under estimating how hard it is. Considering she works out everyday at 10am for an hour and thinks of this as normal behavior that everyone should be able to so (I wish!) - a reality show about her "tour" would be better. In for a world of hurt!

  3. a few cities and $1,000,000 a ticket. But you get a complimentary $500 plain white T-Shirt.

    good luck with that.

God I loathe Goopy. I bought a mag the other day cos it came w a free sample of an SK II serum. And at the checkout my hubby said "surely on principle you're not buying a magazine with Goopy on the cover??"
As incredulous as he was, I did it for the serum. But that is the extent of our loathing of Gwynnie. Evan Dando was right : her head belongs in a box.

    1. I'm so criminal minded I would have just taken the serum out of the magazine. Is that bad? :(

  8. So what ever happened with this tour?

  9. She cant do huge concerts but she could do clubs. She isn't awful I wouldn't spend any money on her though.

  10. Maybe her wealthy friends could let her play a few songs at charity events or she could do an intimate night with goop in the Hamptons: ft music, spoken word portion from her memoirs/cookbooks, AV of her highlight reels and her fave snacks. She can then have her people hawk her wares whilst she sips the finest organic wine on a pedestal and the commoners worship her sage lifestyle advice!

Urban: yeah, it'd be a charity on the listener's behalf to endure her singing!

  12. I like her singing voice, it's kind of unique. But I don't think she is good enough to do a tour. Her songs "me and Tennessee" with Tim McGraw is pretty good.

  13. Goopy is an ok singer. I wouldn't pay to hear her sing or buy her albums, because her voice is nothing special. There are far better singers out there that I knowm personally, but haven't made it, because their not as privileged at Gwynnie.

  14. She did a song with Babyface that is great. My mom amd I used to listen to it on the smooth jazz station (RIP). I like her voice, hate her.

    1. Sirius radio - Watercolors is great smooth jazz. Her voice is nice enough but I wouldn't pay to hear it.

  16. she isn't a bad singer at all

    just an obnoxious person

  17. I think she's a pretty good singer, but I wouldn't pay to go see her in concert. Unless maybe she brought her husband and his band. ;)

This BI came out in May, did this "concert tour" just not happen?

  18. What nation does she mean? She lives in England.

  19. I would totally pay money to see her sing. Big money for front row. Then I could throw tomatoes at her. Nice big organically-grown slow-roasted heirloom tomatoes.

Shes not a bad singer. I wish she would go total bad girl. Change her hair color, eat meat, drink like a fish, ascribe to anarchy....basivally become an anti-Gwen. She would be so much more interesting..

  21. Bacon Brothers, BBT, and others. Why not? I think she'll do better with folks who are drinking. Andy Dick even comes to clubs in Austin. It would be a fun night. Even if I left after the first song.

  22. Didnt she perform her Country Strong song at the CMTs or Grammys? That took some guts at least. Would I pay to watch her sing though? Absolutely not.

  23. She should do a tour with Rhianna, and be forced to room with her. RiRi could knock that stick out of her ass. It would be the greatest reality show of all time. Modern day Odd Couple. Would have to be on HBO.

  24. I've never liked her singing voice, it always seems a bit nasally and flat. Of course, that hasn't stopped many pop stars from being successful.

  25. Most Cunty Strong crap? Nope. Nada. Nein. I guess her A list pals can help her out, I'd sever ties to anyone who actually bought a ticket, tho...

  26. I hope she does tour! Maybe it will humble her.

  27. Ok voice, but really, a tour? Nope. Her singing is best in small doses, like in "Glee" guestings, but certainly not enough for a national tour headlining her.

  28. And God forbid anyone take a picture of her or record her singing....

  29. I correctly guessed this one!
