Everyone Hates Katherine Heigl

Most of the time when an actor or actress is trashed for being a pain it's done quietly. There are just whispers and stories and they invariably become a blind item rather than a full blown story in The Hollywood Reporter. The reason is that you never know when that star is going to hit it again big time or the bigger reason is that the star is one of many clients of a publicist who now won't ever work with you again or give you anything interesting because you trashed one of their clients. If they did give you access to another client, then the trouble maker who usually still makes a good living would dump the publicist and move on to someone else.

The last time I can remember a full on hate fest towards someone was with Lea Michele in the first season or two on Glee. Everyone talked about how much trouble she was and what a diva she is and no one had anything good to say about her. Has she changed? A little. You will notice she doesn't get many roles outside of Glee because of her reputation.

In a new article in The Hollywood Reporter, Katherine Heigl is trashed as the worst person in Hollywood to work with and that the only person more nasty than Katherine is her mother who has been Katherine's manager forever and judging by the styles that Katherine wears, also the biggest lender of clothes to Katherine.

No one had good things to say about Katherine on any movie or television she where she has worked and that she lost the chance at a television pilot this year that she would have been perfect for simply because she wasn't worth all the trouble. Think about all the people out there willing to work who are nice and easy to work with and on the same level of acting and it's pretty easy to see how you can go from millions to nothing in a second.

She is very nice to dogs though, and adopts kids.

  1. Another article said both the director & producer of "Life As We Know" loved working with her & said they would work with her again so it doesn't seem fair to say that "no one had good things to say about her." Just sayin'.

  2. Pardon my bitchiness, I'm nice to dogs.

  3. Omigod, is this another new Enty? I do believe this might be the first time I've seen a link to the source material for a post!!!

  4. I'd still bone her.

Only thing I ever watched her in was Knocked Up. Hopefully she becomes desperate enough for some full frontal before she hits the wall.

  5. Katherine Heigl is your standard LA Jewish princess.

She hit her peak with a 12million salary for a shitty rom-com, women don't react well to cunts. Ones that can't hide it, anyway.

    1. Interesting comment as I believe she grew up in the Mormon faith.

    2. V is correct. She was raised Mormon.

  7. I still think she's hot. And I still like "One for the Money."

  8. She shouldn't have trashed Knocked up. That movie gave her a movie career.

  9. Her aunt (on her dads side) lived in the building next to us, she said sadly they didn't speak.

  10. Why does she look so old? Is it the hair or the wardrobe? She seriously looks like she's pushing 50, but I know she's in her 30s.

    1. @Henriette, I think it's a combination of her hair and wardrobe.

  11. Was was the It girl for a hot second. She should have stayed silent about Knocked Up.

  12. @Pip
Yeah, but even when she was a kid she was old looking. There is something about her that says "old" and "matronly."

  13. Yes, if only men were held to the same standards as women in Hollywood. They can be complete dicks, fat, bald and as obnoxious as hell and are revered as smart, savvy and have great business acumen. Let an actress be outspoken, or request that the gratuitous nude scene in the movie be removed as it brings nothing to the table, or gains a few pounds and she is a raving bitch with mental issues.

  14. Shonda Rimes (writer/creator of Grey's Anatomy) commented on Oprah what a bitch she is. She even went so far as to say that she now has a "no assholes" policy when it comes to hiring cast and crew. The legacy of KH!

  15. You know, I agreed with her about "Knocked Up", about roles for women all being written as shrews (my main problem with the Apatow/'Bro-movie' genre).

BUT I was shocked she said it. If she thought the female characters are written in a one-note stereotypical fashion, why take the part? If you have values then live them. Don't profit and whine later. She just looked like a typical Hollywood hypocrite.

    1. I always thought Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd were portrayed as pretty bad people, esp Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann. Did you see This Is 40? Yeah that kinda lets you know Judd and crew don't always make women look bad. They make us all look bad.

  16. ...I forgot the whores. Women are so often one-note shrews OR whores a lot in films.

  17. @Libby, 'one-note shrew' is a great description of Tea Leoni's role in 'Spanglish', or Annette Benning in ''American Beauty,' two movies I disliked for that reason.

    1. @nutty, so true about Tea Leoni. I saw spanglish again not too long ago and realized how off-putting her character was! Would've been a much better movie if her character had more depth.

    2. If you liked Tea's charactet then it wouldn't really make sense for Adam Sandlet to leave her right? And Paz Vega was a wonderful person in the movie, especially to Tea's daughter.

Do all women have to look like saints in order for you to like the movie?

      Delete
    3. What does a saint look like? Corpsey? I thought saints were dead people.

    4. And now I have taint stuck in my head. Thanks a lot.

    5. @kels, she doesn't have to be a saint, she just didn't need to be a foul bitch. Although if she were a saint, it would have made for a far more interesting film.

  18. Even after speaking out about stereotypes, she continues to take those roles. Her role in Knocked Up was a better portrayal of an independent young woman then the other shit she has been in lately.

  19. On twitter, some peoples say her problem is her mother as manager.

  20. does anyone here have a firsthand account of how obnoxious/terrible she is?

I got to agree with you, Enty. Her style is hidepus and ages her. She looked better on greys anatomy.

  22. I just google image searched "katherine heigl ass" and was very disappointed. Even the pic of her ass at 16 y/o in a Depardieu movie had zero value because she had the muscle tone of a caged veal calf.

  23. I've said it before, she has horrible press and terrible people skills, but she photographs really well and can carry a movie. Whatever's wrong with her, it doesn't prevent her from acting well.

    ReplyDelete
  24. @Kels. I agree. This is Forty made both her and him just as obnoxious. I really like that movie btw.

  25. Katherine Heigl is a poor man's Sharon Stone.

I'm fascinated by the fact that her and mom are "ladies who lunch". I think that's the term. Designer clothes and over-sized designer bags. Salads, gossip and cocktails.

  27. Katherine pissed of the bitchy boys again, the mean girls of Hollywood. HaHA. Love it.

  28. the movie industry is about making money. Divas who are disruptive, cost everybody time, bloat the budget, alienate casts and crews and cause waves of tension are just not worth it.

  29. Who cares? She can go suck a dick for all I care.

Maybe she's like a lot of women I have known who hate people, love kids (some of them love kids anyway) and/or pets. No people skills.

    ReplyDelete
  31. A few years back there was an article, RealEnty might have even been the one to post it, that she was only 1 of 5 women in Hollywood to be able to get a film green lit by signing on. That is sad she can barely get a TV show but you should be nice to the people on your way up. Men never seem to have this problem though. Charlie Sheen anyone?

    ReplyDelete
  32. I like her.. always have.

    ReplyDelete
  33. you can be an asshole all you want..but when your income comes from smiling for the camera and kissing a little ass along the way..bitch, smooches up
cant even get a television job now? smh

SHe should go on newsroom,i totally see her being herself
instead of a son,she could have been leonas bitchy ass daughter

  34. I loved her on Grey's, I hope she gets another show.

  35. And I think she is very chic.

  36. "the movie industry is about making money. Divas who are disruptive, cost everybody time, bloat the budget, alienate casts and crews and cause waves of tension are just not worth it."

Does that apply to the male divas as well?

I bet the male divas get a longer leash and in the end it is all about who brings home the bacon for the studio.

  37. People have told me they like Heigl because she has old Hollywood style beauty.

  40. Her hair and clothes always age her by 20 or 30 years. She looks so matronly.

I doubt she will have a successful comeback because I don't think anyone has missed her.

    ReplyDelete
  41. The people who did like working with her said that her and her mother are very open and don't play the fake niceties. They said the women are very upfront and honest. This is no surprise. I remember when she was having a shitfit about Isaiah Washington's comments about the openly gay T.R. Knight. She was very vocal and not apologetic. She never has been. People would have put up with a lot of her "social skills" if her movies kept making money. She just wasn't drawing enough people in.

  42. I'm one of those outspoken women. At least I'm honest & not arse kissy to get ahead. Can't stand how these days it's not about the work but about sucking up. I've earned the right to have My Way played at my funeral. Go Katherine, keep being true to yourself & being honest & forthright. Too little of it these days.

  43. I came in to comment that she's got a deal in place with NBC to produce and star in another series, but it seems Lisa beat me to it. I have to say, I'm not necessarily a fan but I have no problem ith Heigl. She seems serious about the work and as others have said, if the men can be demanding bitches why can't she?

  45. I like her, and if I were her I would SUE that publication a new asshole.

Not only for defamation but for the damage it may do to her future earning potential.

    SUE 'em girl!
