Four For Friday - Don't Date This Guy

Friday everyone. Fall starts this weekend. It really sneaks up on you especially here because the only thing that really seems to change are the days getting shorter. That part of fall always makes me sad. That day in your office when you realize that it's pitch black outside but not even 6pm. In brighter news I will be here all weekend again blogging my fat fingers to the bone. Lots of reveals and blinds planned for the weekend and any breaking news too.

Did I tell you that the big blind item from yesterday is going to be revealed? I meant to. Anyway, the same holds true for this one too. Time to expose some of these people for what they do to others. This particular actor is an Academy Award winner. Didn't even through up the /nominee part like I usually do. He is a royal pain to work with and doesn't work as much as an actor of his talent should. He is an even bigger pain to date or live with. I would put him in the top five when it comes to worst tempers of an actor in Hollywood. Of all time. Sure the drinking and drugs have a lot to do with his ranking but he sucks at relationships and has been through multiple marriages and live in girlfriends and they all have one thing in common. He abused every single one of them. Sometimes, as in the case of one of his more notorious relationships he would beat the woman in his life and sometimes it would just be constant verbal abuse. He always wants you to know he is in charge and has no problems humiliating his girlfriend or wife in public if they do something to offend him. He has left people on the sides of roads and without any way to get home. He has laughed when he makes women cry. There is no such thing as gentle sex with this guy. It's rough all the way every single time. He knows he's not a nice guy but he claims to have changed. I think women have just grown smarter and run from him the second he starts acting out and never come back so the whispers about him are more quiet than they used to be.

  3. Nicholson. Karma is absolute, Jack. Just remember that.

  4. Does Gary Oldman have a past history of being abusive?

I've read stories about Rourke, Brolin and Penn but not Oldman.

  5. Penn was the 1st to pop into my head.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Old man never won an Oscar. Sounds like Sean Peen to me

    ReplyDelete
  7. Oldman isn't an Academy Award winner.

    Penn is my guess.

  8. Sean Penn.

Nicholson is a saint, and he don't get hung up enough on one piece of ass to beat her.

Penn straight up can't control himself and thinks the sun shines out of his asshole.

  9. Multiple marriages I would think alluded to more than two which is what Penn has had but his temper is notorious.

    Rourke
or cage if implied that jack off is.married..(dont think it does)

  11. Rourke never won an Oscar, hopefully he never will. He lost to Sean Penn that year. I'm thinking this is Penn.

  12. Sounds like Crowe, but he doesn't have multiple marriages and neither does Nicholson...sounds like the douche Sean Penn

  13. Agree with Jeneral. I read this as Mel Gibson.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I thought I read somewhere that Sean Penn dumped someone at a gas station.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Mel Gibson was married to one woman for about 30 years.

My first thought was James Caan. But I have to go look and see if he won an Oscar.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Crowe or penn very good guesses.

    ReplyDelete
  17. It can't be Cage - he works very frequently and seems to have at least one movie out a year.

Mel was married for a long time and while he doesn't act often, has release several movies that he's produced or acted in in the past few years. I think people would have come out of the woodwork to sell those stories after the arrest and then his fiance or whatever she was. (Unless they were paid off.)

I hate Sean Penn for what he did to Madonna, and considering his status as an actor, he isn't working terribly often anymore.

I think Nicholson's "secret" is probably hookers. He seems like a womanizer but no an abuser. Penn absolutely does. Also, we've been told ScarJo likes it rough. May have been something that instigated the relationship.

Sean Penn or Billy Bob Thornton

  19. Also, I refuse to believe that it's Joe Pesci. I love that little man.

  20. I don't know why but I'm getting a Timothy Hutton vibe on this.

  21. Penn is a hateful little DB

    ReplyDelete
  22. It seems almost too easy for this to be Sean Penn. This particular BI is usually hard maybe Enty has the sads because summer is over?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Sean Penn is a typical liberal.

    1. Oh hush. He is so not. That is just an ignorant statement. The number of sick, twisted, sex obsessed, in the closet gay hating arseholes in the conservative mess pool FARRRRR outweighs the sickos on the liberal side of the aisle. You have been listening to that liberal-dominated (NOT!) media hogwash again. Ignorant self hating fools do that.

      ^^yup. Agree 100%.

  24. Sean Penn seems to fit BUT he was with and married to Robin Wright forever. This guy seems like he has had more short term relationships. I think Timothy Hutton too.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I'm with Christina with her choice of Billy Bob Thornton:

Multiple marriage, known engagements, peculiar quirks, anger issues, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Not Mel Gibson, he was only married once. But it could easily be him anyway in addition to whomever this is about.

@Abbey, Sean was married to Madonna also in the 80's.

But all the guesses are for people we already know are angry. I think it is someone you would never suspect. Be interesting to see who Enty reveals it to be.

  27. Nicholson isn't violent just decided the easiest way was to hire the help ..And he gives them healthcare too. Not a nasty guy.

    BBT isn't a beater either..Don't hate I like BBT. He's ugly hot.

Hutton? Not around enough nor married enough either.

So sounds like Penn and we know Enty does not like Penn..Penn for the win.

  28. @Count, are you sure you're not my husband? I swear the two of you think exactly alike. Probably why I love reading your comments.

  29. FWIW on the Timothy Hutton guess (and I know many things can be kept behind closed doors) - he and Debra Winger had a short term nanny who wrote a book and had nothing but lovely things to say about them. To the point where I doubt this is Tim because Debra was so down to earth and the household so normal that it doesn't seem to fit IMO

    ReplyDelete
  30. BTW the reason their nanny was short-term was because it was Tim who suggested she be hired because Debra was so worn out, but Debra was such a hands-on and involved mother that the nanny was unnecessary.

  32. Or Ben Kingsley. He seems to be a functioning ass.

    ReplyDelete
  33. William Hurt is a great guess!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Has William Hurt been married multiple times? I know he was married to Mary Beth Hurt.
He's a great guess, especially after knowing how terribly he treated Marley Matlin.
Man, I used to love Sean Penn. I remember going to see TAPS and thinking 'who IS that guy?'. But I'm sorry to say I think this blind is about him.

    ReplyDelete
  35. William Hurt is KNOWNn to be an abuser, which makes him an unlikely material for this blind.

I too read this as someone with more than two marriages, and think Ben Kingsley fits perfectly. But he lives in England and seems like he hasn't got much to do with Hollywood other than work. Wouldn't rumours about him be known in British circles rather than in Entyland?

  36. I'm going to guess Alec Baldwin, he has an Oscar, right?

  37. Sean Been's a very good guess. Its an open secret in the music world that he battered Madonna all thru their marriage, thats why she divorced him.

  39. Many of the actors guessed here continue to work frequently, so while some of them aren't known to be nice, it's not them. I agree that William Hurt is a good guess. He is usually the best part of any movie - when he's in one, or when you've seen that indie. He was known to be extremely difficult, and if he did not have that reputation, he could have had any role he wanted and won multiple Oscars by now if he had gotten those roles.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Sean....without a shadow of a doubt.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I think this is William Hurt. 2 marriages, 3 live-in partners; white hot career in the 80's then he all but disappeared; known to be difficult on set (thought to be one of the reasons his career stalled).

    1. Great guess! I forgot all about him. But I remember he hit Marlee Matlin in the limo after the oscars. She won for "children of a lesser God". He didn't, & told her, because her character was deaf in real life that she wasn't even acting, & didn't deserve the award. Then stated that He did. Her book was juicy.

  43. I am totally feeling William Hurt for this. Sandra Jennings aleged abuse:

    http://articles.latimes.com/1989-06-19/news/mn-1917_1_richard-golub-sandra-jennings-palimony

(sorry, I don't know how to make them clicky)

    So did Marley Matlin.

I remember when he was getting divorced from Skitch Henderson's daughter, Heidi, reading a quote where Skitch said something like "if I wouldn't go to jail, I would kill him for what he did to my daughter"

  44. @ian mcgrinty - No. It's actually typical right wing behavior - I know, because I've lived in highly conservative/religious areas. Most liberal men are pretty decent and don't molest kids or beat their wives.

I agree with the William Hurt guess. He is even more of an abusive ass than Penn.

    1. Thank you @MadLyb. Idiots do tend to make sweeping, generalized statements. Oops. Did I just do that? Too bad it's true...

  45. I'm thinking William Hurt too. He's a known abuser and has been in various relationships, probably a lot that aren't known publicly.

About a year ago on WWHL Andy Cohen asked Ethan Hawke to name the most difficult actor he's ever worked w/ and Ethan, w/o hesitation named William Hurt. Said he was a total 'd!ck'. You know he had to be just awful for Ethan Hawke to announce that publicly.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Not Gary Oldman, shame on you Derek. Pluse he never got an Academy award, YET.

Gary Oldman finally got a nomination for Tinker Taylor Solider Spy which was way overdue.

And since the Oscar nominations he is very sought out and working back to back to films right now.

    ReplyDelete
  47. So many to choose from. It does sound like Sean Penn though. I like William Hurt and Richard Dreyfuss as guesses too though. William Hurt is known to be an abuser and Dreyfuss is known to be an a-hole.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Having a powerful talent in their chosen field has never precluded an artist's being an SoB (or an evil diva).

Penn is known to be an a-hole in his personal life, but that'd be too easy. Even w/o knowing much about him off-screen, I can buy into this one being Bill Hurt.

There's just a nasty vibe, & can imagine it growing due to lost roles. Yet I'd hate for him to lose work as a result, simply because (like Penn) Hurt is a uniquely talented actor--he was terrific in Cronenberg's 'History of Violence' (as, btw, was Ed Harris, who is NOT an SoB--according to my late mother at least. But despite gossip, & tho not a huge fan of his acting, she also was quite fond of Malkovich).
