Hahaha paris! That's the first thing I thought off too. MY SAAAAANDWICH (as birds fly away)
When I worked at a deli as a teen, the signature sandwich was Turkey,Cranberry and Watercress (along with a tube of premixed mustard and mayo, think ketchup bottle filled with half of each and mixed) It was delicious!
Worst part of going to someone else's place. One year I roasted a turkey just for me so I could have those amazing turkey/stuffing/cranberry sandwiches. Yeah, I made stuffing, too. Damn, turkeys are big. Freezer was packed for a year.
Stuffing is my favorite part. I make two recipes, one of which is a moist sage and onion dressing. A good half inch of that stuffing on fresh country-style bread, plus another half inch of turkey and a smidge of cranberry sauce.... I call it my Bliss sandwich. LOVE it!
Ah, thanks for the reminder! Texted the guy to get rye bread for turkey ruebens, too. He's a brave fellow for making a grocery run on black Friday.
ReplyDeleteTurkey sandwich dipped in tomato soup, with a cold glass of 2%. Nothing better.
ReplyDeleteOnly if it has a "moist maker".
ReplyDeleteDon't you DARE take Ross's sandwich!!!
That's what I had for lunch and it was luscious!

Bacon, you caught your mistake and posted the correction so you're safe from my wrath. For now. And there's only one "e" in "grammEr".

ReplyDeleteDid YOUR sandwich have the Moist Maker?!?
ReplyDeleteYOU THREW AWAY MY SANDWICH?!!!!!?
Turkey slices and provolone on italian bread, dip in egg batter to create a monte cristo. Serve with cranberry sauce.
ReplyDeleteIf you had ham as well as turkey, add some, too.

ReplyDeleteWe haven't had Thanksgiving dinner yet! My husband and I are both in public safety, and both had to work yesterday so, we're carving at 5pm.
ReplyDeleteThere's still football on, no one here knows the difference. :)
Happy long weekend, everyone in the US!
Sucks we have almost a month left until we can have Turkey. Happy holidays all!
ReplyDeleteClubhouse sandwiches are the best part of a turkey dinner. I thought Enty knew that bacon makes everything better?
