Justin Bieber Says He's Retiring But He Won't

Unlike Joaquin Phoenix when he said he was going to retire I think Justin Bieber actually thinks he is going to retire. Maybe he fully intends to stop his endless touring and just sit back and live off his millions for the rest of his life. It is exactly that reason why he won't. Can you imagine Justin Bieber with nothing to do all day or night forever? Yeah, if you think he gets into trouble now wait until a 19 year old has nothing to do all the time except think about what pot he is going to smoke that day or which women to invite over to pass out. All Justin has to do is look at Michael Jackson who had way more money than Justin Bieber and was nearly bankrupt before he died. The only reason Michael Jackson was going to tour and play all those shows in London was because he was broke. You get used to spending a certain amount of money based on all the money coming in and when it stops coming in you don't cut back and live within a budget. Does Justin have enough money to retire? Yep. Will he cut back? Nope.

He probably also thinks he can come back at any time when he needs a few bucks and he will be fine. This is a lot like the actor who jumps to movies and bombs at it and thinks they can go back to television. It is really hard to go back. Justin will always be able to make a living touring but it is not going to be in 20,000 seat arenas. It is going to be in the 5,000 seat (insert name of Indian casino here) arena for a fraction of the pay.

Being a recording artist means never taking your foot off the gas. Ever. If you are successful you have to keep pressing the gas forever or never be able to get it back.

  1. meantime he's one person who should put a gun to his head and blow his own brains out. He needs to stay working so he can afford to keep his bodyguards around to protect him.

  2. You seem a little shoot-y today, fella. Hang in there, holidays almost over!

Shhhh, maybe if we pretend to believe him, he will actually go for a bit! Work on his "craft"

  3. He is getting too old for 12 year olds to get gooey for. He and his fans are aging out. Kid can't even sell tickets through NAMBLA anymore.

Better to sit home and bone groupies than to keep touring until the arenas are empty.

  4. Just clearing out the mess in my foggy head TTM. Soon I'm out for a nice long walk and WalMart shopping.

  5. He's such a dumb loser. He's too stupid to have a backup plan or any prospects and probably thinks his fans will care forever. I see him being the next Leif Garret.

  6. No way his people will let him take a break. Kid makes too much money.

  7. A friend of mine worked at a calendar kiosk in a mall for the Holidays. No one--not even giddy little girls who are eight-- is asking for his calendar, so I guess he is just about done anyway.

  10. Bieber isn't about to retire no matter what he says. He's far too much in love with himself, and with his own "cuteness" to do anything of the kind.

Since INS obviously isn't going to do its job and deport him, the best we can hope for is that he'll end up as roadkill on one of SoCal's freeways one day, and that he won't take anyone with him when he does.

  11. Well, if that 911 call is any indication, he prolly should think seriously about countries with no extradition treaties.

  17. He's talking about those casinos on Indian Reservations. They always attract washed up talent. What's so racist about that?

  18. The Turning Stone Casino in Upstate New York is run by the Oneida Indian Nation. The nation calls themselves Indians. The Oneida High School mascot is the Indian. Up there Indian is a term of respect.

  19. I disagree with Enty about recording artists not being able to come back. A sign of a truly talented and beloved artist is that they can come back after years and the fans will still flock them. Look at George Strait. Finally retiring after many years of on and offs in the business and he sold out arenas in minutes.

What a wonderful thing to do for his overly-emotional fans on Christmas! F*cking, literally and otherwise, around with his dwindling fans seems to give him his only kicks lately.

  22. Justin Bieber retiring would be a public service.

  23. His mamma needs to send his ass to college. Not because he needs a "real job" but because he may need some help at real life.
I hope he grows out of this and becomes a normal professional man. Done of the New Kids on the Block made it out alive. Maybe there's a little hope for little baby Beb.

  25. There isn't an "Indian" casino in the world with 5000 seats, Enty. And that's Native American casino, thankyouverymuch.

  26. BTW, on behalf of Canada HE'S NOT ALLOWED BACK HERE!

  27. Good lord, calling it an Indian casino is not racist.

  29. Actually, a lot of tars do Indian casinos these days. There's no shame in it. I was gambling the night Barry Manilow performed and traffic was backed up and cops were everywhere. Ya, I know Barry Manilow, but still.

That being said doesn't mean Bieber could stop traffic anywhere in a few years.

  30. An artist who is truly talented can take a break and come back. This little prick who can't even pull up his damn pants doesn't have a chance of coming back. His wrapping paper in the dollar store didn't even sell this year. And if he keeps jerking his fading fan base around this way with the fake I'm retiring tweets they will get over him sooner rather than later. He's going to be the second coming of Leif Garret
