Katie Couric's Talk Show Canceled
Katie hated doing the talk show and told her staff just a few hours before their holiday party that they would all be losing their jobs. Merry Christmas! The good news is they will have jobs through June before they get kicked to the streets looking for work. Katie will have no such financial difficulties as Yahoo is throwing money at her for doing a bunch of things no one will watch. Granted it is only 6 or 7 million a year compared to the $15M she used to pull down but she gets to do what she wants and delay the inevitable infomercial circuit for her for a few years longer.

Yahoo? She might as well be on the golf channel. She was so quick to leave Today and her lover Matt, soon she will be selling Cindy Crawford's skin care or hair by Wren.

It would be really cool to see her selling No/No and removing hair from her upper lip. I would pay to see her giggle her way through that.

She wears those types of dresses ALL the time! She also favors very short hemlines. She's very stuck on her figure.
I think she acts so condescending toward her audience, the show jumped around too much and yeah, put those arms under wraps!
I caught one of her snoozefests and noticed she treated her audience like she was doing them a favor by letting them into the studio audience. It was really bizarre.

Here's a newsflash: bodies change as we age, and comparing her to Michelle Obama, who's at least a decade younger, isn't really fair.
Her arms might not be tight and toned, but then again, not everyone's are.
I like her show.
Still can't believe that AMC & OLTL were cancelled for this and the Chew. Poor GH has been barely haging on with ABC. I think they gave it a pass bc it's in its 50th year.
Katie is loaded, never has to work again for rest of life. If she hated talk show,why agree to it? If those people are fired but getting paid til June. they have zero to bitch about and I sure dont feel sorry for them. I do feel sorry for people who are fired with no severence pay at all, so lets cut the pity party for them.
Sure she told them the show was being cancelled but they're still getting paid for 6 months! That's not a bad deal.
I'll jump in on the arm kvetching because mine look worse and I know better than to walk around with them uncovered.
Frankly I have never seen the draw of Katie Couric and talk shows are so bloody boring and useless. AND there's far too many of them. Does PMK still have hers? I rest my case.
She's getting married soon, I think the Yahoo thing will give her more time for her personal life and still bring in big money for a while.
I dunno guys; seems like Katie has normal lady appendages to me. She wears shorts dresses bc she can. Her legs are fantastic.
I only watched a couple of times, but I like her show. Daytime TV sucks anyway.
I can't stand Katie Couric. She is entitled and a prima dona. I also can't stand Matt Lauer and think that they deserve each other.

Katie is not a decade younger than Michelle Obama. They are about four to five years apart.
