Your Turn

Peaches Geldof says the hand in the photo above belongs to a ghost. Specifically a woman who killed herself in the same bathtub after delivering a stillborn baby. Do you see a ghost?

  8. Creepy. Totally not sure but I've definitely had weird vibes in certain placesike that.
Every single time I would hang out near the bumper cars at Great Adventure in NJ as a teen, it would be very quiet and freezing cold. Oddly enough it felt spooky but I was always drawn to that area. I literally found out last week that the bumper cars are where the Haunted Mansion was that burned down and killed 8 teens.
It all makes so much sense now about how I felt every time I was there. I lived about 20 minutes away and had season passes and would find myself in that spot often.

  9. That hand could not be hers because of the angle and that is one creepy looking hand--could be.

  10. That ghost story is too close to me aemish. But we aledgedly have a few haunted houses and crmetaries here

  11. Also had a similar feeling while waiting in line at the Tower of London on a very sunny warm summer morning. I had my back turned to a wall and got the oddest sensation. It was like someone took a finger and traced in down my spin. I turned around and there was a plague saying the bodies of "The 2 Young Princess" were found in the wall on XXYZ.
    Creepy.
I think I'm a wee bit sensitive to these things. I have tons of stories like this.

  17. My husband, who is a huge skeptic, was sitting on the porch of a house talking to a ghost, altho he didn't realize it was a ghost at the time. Several other people staying in the house (it was a famous photographer's and being used for a theater workshop) reported seeing this ghost. In the morning they saw a photo of the guy who started out as a fisherman and owned the house at some point.

  18. my friend lives in a house that was a funeral home back in the '50s.
the basement still has the original wood walls, where they wld keep the bodies until the time of the wake.
u can randomly hear tapping on the walls & the sounds of like wooden cabinets slide open & shut. nothing really scary.

then, there's the blue room, where they embalmed the bodies. the fukn dog wn't even go in that room. & no matter how hard u push, u can't close the door if ur inside the room. it'll just randomly close on its own.

    1. Your friend sounds like he has a fun yet kinda creepy house. I had a friend who's basement was haunted. You'd hear barstools moving when no one was down there. Oh and sometimes a tapping on the basement windows when we'd be outside near them. It also had permanent cold spots in it.
I would joke around when we'd be partying down there, jumping in and out of the cold spots.

But clearly he didn't know about the gun scene for which he offers no explanation, annnd the other little discrepancy that the ghost looks exactly like a little boy, and not a cardboard cutout of Ted Danson [to me]

  26. @AJ.. + the little boy's hair goes down to his eyebrows, like he has bangs.. Ted Danson doesn't have bangs, he blows that shit out with half a can of Auquanet

  27. @ Karen.. Oh, no! I sowwy!!

They're not all bad though I don't think.. one time when my husband was out of town and I was about 8 months along, my Pekingese ran to the edge of the bed and started barking at the air for about 3 minutes.. I didn't have any weird vibes per se other than she had never done that before, so when he returned home, I decided to tell him. I figured he'd probably just laugh it off or roll his eyes thinking I was full of it but I decided, whatevs, I gotta be me and told him. I didn't get much reaction out of him until a couple days later when Bushi (our dog) did the same thing again. He and I were in bed reading and just looked at each other, his eyes like saucers.

"Meh, probably just some relatives coming to visit the baby.." and went back to my reading :p

  29. @AJ.. gurrl.. set your DVR to anything related to the Jersey Devil, I swear they caught him on nightvision camera one time with that show with those college kids that go around ghost hunting. Their idea was to go to the house it was supposedly born in, and it paid off big time. (they've since torn the house down, I think bc of this episode!)

Also on Monster Quest I think it was they interviewed this lady and her son and photos of its hoofprints in the snow of their roof after chasing them back in their house the night before when they were unplugging the Christmas lights.

  36. Ok...I'm originally from Salem, MA. I was in Crow Haven Corner over Thanksgiving, which is a famous little Wiccan store with herb and candles and stuff. It's awesome.

Anyway...while I was there, there was a woman standing next to me and she screamed and scared everyone shopping to death. The clerk ran from behind the counter and asked her what happened. Apparently something pulled on her coat and then pushed her. She turned and there was no one there. I was standing next to her and could vouch for her that no one was there. When I spoke to the woman who owned the store...she told me a little ghost girl lives there and messes with people all the time. She actually caught a picture of the ghost girl walking across her store floor during a seance. Out of 100 pictures taken, the ghost girl only showed up in one frame. She showed me the picture. It was the freakiest thing I'd ever seen. I am a believer, so yes...that could be a ghost in that frame.

  39. At Aemish...I can tell you for an absolute fact that the ghost in 3 Men and a Baby is fake. I asked Ted Danson himself when he was filming at Cheers in Boston, years ago. He told me it was a cardboard cutout and they did it for publicity.

I was 13 and my parents had just had my youngest brother. One night he wouldn't stop crying and I could hear him at the other end of the house. Probably about 1am or so. I got up to see what the problem was, why wasn't my mom getting him or whatever, and he wasn't in his crib. I go to my parents room and they were fast asleep but the baby wasn't there either. I hear him crying again and I look in his room, NOT FUCKING THERE. by this point I'm losing my mind and in tears myself, so i wake my mom up, she comes with me to his room and he's fast asleep in his crib.

I love real ghost stories too @karen, check out reddit- r/nosleep or r/paranormal. I love people's real accounts and experiences. I'm not saying I'm a believer but I enjoy the stories.

Anybody interested in being spooked out, google the mysterious case of elisa lam. Not necessarily a ghost story, but spooky and unnerving.

  45. I've seen ghosts. My husband died, he was twenty two. We had a four and a half month old baby. I was living in Illinois where he was from, and after his death, living with his parents. I woke one night because the room light was on and there he was at the foot of the bed looking at the baby. I got up, talked to him about her. He wanted to know how we were doing.

His folks woke up because they could hear me talking. They stood in the doorway and watched me talk to someone they couldn't see.

He told me to go where I would be happy, so I moved back home to Washington.

I often wake up because it feels like someone is setting on my side of the bed and just got up.

None of these are scary, but almost comforting.

I don't know if that's a ghost hand in the pic or not, I just know that I would not bathe in a tub where someone committed suicide. Nothing good can come of it.
