Blind Item #9
This former B- list mostly movie actress who is now reduced to whatever type of reality or acting gig she can get but still looks great was putting the hard press on this A list celebrity who is rich. She would love to be his arm candy for a month or two to pay off some bills owed to some not very nice people.
I guess this eliminates Lindsay and Tra. Who else is desperate??
ReplyDelete*Tara*
ReplyDeleteDenise Richards was just meeting up with Joanna Krupa, probably swapping tips. Aaron Schock for the rich A list who needs arm candy.
ReplyDeleteCarmen Electra and Travis Barker
ReplyDeleteTara probably. Sad.
ReplyDeleteCan I sign up for this service? Job hunting and just informed that I didn't get it.
ReplyDeleteAnother company who interviewed me didn't hire me, but used my ideas. Sigh.
Juliann Hough
ReplyDelete@Blondie, ugh, that bites! Hope you get good news soon!
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain Blondie, been looking for the last 6 months. The right job is out there for both of us I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteBlondie and Cory - I'll say a little prayer that you both find a great job.
ReplyDelete@blondie, same thing happened to me :( still lookin
ReplyDeleteI was unemployed for 2 years and now have a job I really like, hang in there guys, I know its tough.
ReplyDeleteThanks @Seven and JD!
ReplyDeleteCory and Gabi doesn't it suck ass.
What pisses me off is that I'm good enough to steal from, but not good enough to be hired.
I had a phone interview last week, explained that I had the flu, sent a thank you note with more information, re-explained that I had the flu and no break.
I'm sorry for venting, but I'm at the end of my rope.
I see people who have less talent than I do getting jobs.
I don't have connections and it sucks ass.
Sorry--Didn't mean to hijack the thread, I'm just worried about shit.
This one was so easy, even I got it! Shannon Elizabeth w/ Russell Simmons in the parlour with the candle stick!! Hurray, I got one!!
ReplyDeleteBlondie, Cory & Gabi, good luck with your search. Hopefully karma bites the arse of those who took your ideas.
ReplyDeleteThanks @feraltart.
ReplyDeleteI'm just so frustrated! And my 4:30 phone interview was cancelled last minute!
Oh frabjous joy! Calooo Calllayy!
Shannon Elizabeth

Blondie - Honey, I feel your pain! I have been interviewing a lot as well and it is depressing! Hang in there! Something is out there for you!
ReplyDeleteBlondie - what irks the crap out of me is how much research and prep work I do before a phone interview, and the person interviewing me has not even read my resume!
ReplyDelete@Tennis Peach I'm sending you a big hug!
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you're talking about!
I had an in-person interview in December, my interviewer seemed to be clueless about what was going on in own department. At one point, I asked a question, and they turned around and pawed through their desk because they didn't know off the top of their head.
How the hell can you be the head a of a department and not know stuff?? HOW?
Go on glassdoor.com to see if you can find comments about the company with whom you are interviewing. It has information on the environment working there, salaries, and the interview process.
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question about being head of a department and not know stuff??? Good Lord - there are SO MANY people out there that have jobs totally not qualified to have!
is this still a gossip site? been reading this for years. I am not interested in reading personal problems. Start your own blog for it. most people read sites for fun.
ReplyDeleteYou do know, right, that you can scroll on by? It's super easy, really!! ;)

DeleteGood luck to those who need it! Job hunting is awful!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck to the job hunters, I think it's common these days that finding takes at least 6 months - that's what HR stuff says. Stay positive - or at least do a good facsimile of it when interviewing ;)
ReplyDeleteMay the force, etc.
Vicki l - don't read the comments - it is that simple
ReplyDeleteYikes so sorry to hear people's job misfortune! It's just awful to hear about, I am so lucky to have been born earlier way before the crunch when jobs for good workers were more plentiful, I worry for the younger folk.
ReplyDeleteLil Fudgsicle, you made wine nearly escape my nostrils - I loves that.
ReplyDeleteStealing a shitty thread, right, I hate iCloud, I've spent all day drafting a press release, create new year icloud email, then, then...wait for it....I go to send like 250 emails with pic, and guess what, really guess what....
I've exceeded my daily limit, like at 15, and now I have to pay for mor space, I say WHAAAA, and have another glass. I hate when I fail at efficiency....
Best of lucks to job hunters, I'm hammering jobs together and it's hard.
I get my cheap laughs here...sorry Vics.
I feel for anyone looking for a job too. And how can someone take your ideas? Girl get them copy written or get a NDA stipulating if they use it, they pay you. You'll get less people wanting to interview you but the ones that do will have your RESPECT!
ReplyDeleteI was unemployed for 6 months and the interview process can be a soul sucking experience. You do spend a lot of time tailoring your interview to what that company does and then the interviewers know too little about you and why you would fit the job.
@Vicki, threads go "off topic" all the time. I've been reading this site for years--long time lurker, just starting to comment. And you know what Vicki, people do talk about their lives here,it's what makes this site so special.
ReplyDeleteThe community here is fantastic and warm. I only come to the site for the comments. Every day I'm here reading the comments, they're better than the blinds!
Sherry, I'm in a field where when you go for an interview, they ask you for ideas, you can't not give them anything. I'm also in a field where stealing ideas is, sadly, pretty common.
When I saw that they had implemented one of my ideas, I emailed the head and told her that I'd be happy to freelance or consult because she loved one of my ideas so much she used it.
She emailed me back that she didn't, so of course, I had to email her exactly what was said and where. Never heard from her again.
I love what I do, but my field sucks.
I wish everyone job hunting success and happiness.
I got ya Blondie. I agree it sux and forgive me for not fully understandingand shooting my mouth off. It pisses me off on your behalf. My husband is a blacksmith/artist and previously a landscape designer so they have found some ways around that but of course never absolutely. May all those that stea
DeleteSteal creative ideas and take advantage suffer the worst the Gods of karma can deal.
DeleteShannon Elizabeth and Russell Simmons.
ReplyDeleteBlondie and the other job seekers...I feel your pain. I finally got a job offer today after a five month job search. I know several other unemployed people and a 4-6 month job search seems to be the norm now. It's tough to keep your head up but there's something out there for you and you'll find it. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteZiggatron Stardust got it.
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say that everyone here rocks. Seriously. I had a mini meltdown yesterday, thank you.
ReplyDeleteTo my fellow job seekers I wish you a job that you love comes soon.
Sherry, your husband sounds super talented.
