Blind Items Revealed

"I don't understand why they even have to be here. This is for us. We are professional and they aren't. Why don't they get real jobs?"
Heard from this B list actress after she walked the red carpet. She splits her time between her very hit cable show and making bad movies. Also likes drinking and married men.
January Jones (about reality stars)
Welp, in a round about way, I agree with her.
ReplyDeleteI agree with her also..
ReplyDeleteShe better hush, she might BE one of those reality stars one day.
ReplyDeleteGot no issue with that. Would be different if she was talking about wait staff or something equivelent.
ReplyDeleteOh Betty, you saucy minx! I certainly don't blame her for saying that.
ReplyDeleteOf course shes right because The Emmy's are awards for acting and artistic talent.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't want to be hanging out with reality "stars" either. Geez, what I wouldn't give for a Kardashian or two to fall off the planet...
ReplyDelete@Simon: It would better if all of them fell off the planet, plus Kanye & Bieber!
DeleteI'm with January.
ReplyDeleteI think we're pretty solidly team JJ here.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Team JJ too.
ReplyDeleteI already admitted to liking January, now I have to admit to really liking January!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree with her more. Sniffing your sister's underwear on national television doesn't make you an actress, it makes you a famewhore. They should have their own pink carpet.
@becca, I am with you! I have a list of those who I hope to never hear about again!
ReplyDeleteI agree with her too...but I also feel that way about her. She's no professional actress. She just lucked out because of her looks. Otherwise...she basically is a horrible actress.
ReplyDeleteAgreed.
ReplyDeleteReality stars aren't even good enough to walk the red carpet at the AVN awards, even the ones who "accidentally" had their sex tapes leaked.
ReplyDeleteI agree with her 100%. Reality people are NOT stars, and should not be famous.
ReplyDeleteBut, she is so... Talentless, she's only a step up reality stars, she is on the "professional" side of tv only because she fucks her way through it.
ReplyDeleteJust saw Xmen first class and she is sooo bad, the same style as her mad men character base a bit if another movie she was on a week ago, she was terrible! Reciting her lines.
She needs to shut up, IMHO.
"Why don't they get real job?" says the ACTRESS who's job is sitting in her trailer for a few hours, then couple of hours in hair/makeup/wardrobe, and then reciting lines for another couple. I guess it's all relative, though.
ReplyDelete+1 @yummy
Deleteyeah i dont like the 'real job' comment because acting is not really necessary to the survival of an economy... but true, reality stars arent awesome.
ReplyDeleteI suspect this was in reference to KK being at the 2013 Emmys.
ReplyDeletein which case, carry-on JJ.
Runswithscissors, you obviously don't watch Mad Men. she is fucking awesome on that show.
ReplyDeleteSeen it, the role calls for what she does best (the only style I've seen her do in other movies) cold expressionless stares. The other movie I saw her in was Unknown with Liam neeson, she was reciting lines with the same emotionless face, it's a suspense thriller and she was not the bad guy in the story. Role called for more range obviously.
DeleteShe's right.
ReplyDeletePet peeve - lumping all reality stars into the same bucket. There is a huge talent difference between a Kardashian and a Gordon Ramsay. The Ks are totally worthless, but reality stars who showcase their skills are the modern equivalents of Julia Child and Lawrence Welk, and deserve a spot at the Emmys.
ReplyDeleteI love January, even if she's a rotten person. I want her for my #1 frenemy
ReplyDeleteTotally Team JJ on this.
ReplyDeleteYup, I totally agree with January. Totally.
ReplyDeleteYup, I totally agree with January. Totally.
ReplyDeleteShe's right.
ReplyDeleteShe's got a point, but I'd love it if at an Awards show someone says the same thing about allowing people with no talent.
ReplyDeleteShe's got a point, but I'd love it if at an Awards show someone says the same thing about allowing people with no talent.
ReplyDeleteStarting to like JJ...
ReplyDeleteShe's right, of course, but I'd rather it had come from someone more talented and less cunty.
ReplyDeletei mean where is the lie tho
ReplyDeleteTeam JJ
ReplyDeleteCan't say I disagree with her!

ReplyDeleteLet me try this again, deleted the one above as it didn't land right.
ReplyDeleteHer co-star Jon Hamm, has said even worse about reality stars. Good for them! Reality TV has crapped up cable so much, I was thinking about getting it again until I found out the good shows were replaced with garbage.
She pulled that question right out of my brain.
ReplyDeleteShe's right.
ReplyDeleteShit, and all this time I thought she was referring to all the cast and crew's wives...pfft.
