DeleteThis 40-something guy offered to take a group pic of my friends so we could all be in the picture. I always offer to do this for people, so I thought he was just being nice. While trying to take our picture, he was fumbling around, acting like he was trying to get the perfect shot. The fucking creeper was actually trolling my pool pics from earlier that day which were waaaay farther back, instead of taking our picture. WTF?! I will never let anyone touch my fucking phone again, I swear. I'm just grateful that there was nothing dirtier than that in my album.
On a funnier note, a hooker came to our hotel room at 10:30pm on Saturday, asking for John. Based off stories by @Count, I was worried I might get stuck with some kill fee but then we figured out that she was requested by the two men next door. I enjoyed the Venetian, but I think I'll be sticking to the Paris
PS- I just want to go on the record to confirm that the hooker in question was NOT Christina Millian

Ooh @lady h creepy story. I don't like strange people touching anything of mine.. even my phone, I would think he would try to steal it. I'm super paranoid that way. I would just have someone else take a photo with their phone and send it to me. I'm super territorial about my stuff and not embarrassed to be like that. .good the hooker found the right John, but I could so see you im.ing count to try to talk her out of her kill fee!!! Haha! Vegas never changes.

ReplyDeleteVegas is a town where people's luck turns on a dime. Don't go with full time whores while there. Post an ad on CraigsList and get yerself a semi-pro broad who lost her car payment at black jack. She avoids the repo man and you avoid being the 5th trick out of a dozen that day.
Definitely a pro. She was a stunning black woman and she was very nice. Not very good at reading hotel room numbers though haha. Don't know how good she was at her actual job though because we hightailed it to XS to avoid the noise. My one big gripe with Venetian was the very thin walls. Plus the countless pornos shot in those rooms lol.

Lady H, thanks for the info on the Venetian. Hubby and I thought about staying there next time. We stayed at the MGM Grand last year, and we loved the facilities, just a bit off the main drag. Couldn't hear a thing in the room. Such a shame about the Venetian, the rooms look really nice and big. What section did you stay in and do you think that would make a difference?
Hey @feral: the room was huge and really nice. It just does not contain sounds well. If you stay there, make sure they out you isn't the Venetian and in the Venetian Tower. The others are really far away from everything. I always stay at Paris, but I love Mandalay Bay as a cheaper option. They've been having great rates lately, but as you know, it's farther down the strip. I just saw more shadier shit than usual, even though shady is the norm when talking Vegas. However, I do also have to take into account that it was spring break and a weekend, so it was more of a shitshow than I'm used to

DeleteThere is some click - thing you can plug into your phone so you can take selfies by pushing a camera button on a cord. I don't take selfies but I saw it on TV once. If that helps. You can set the phone on a stand like a camera pod and push the button cord.
