Ruxpin was creepy. RIP
Teddy Ruxpin was the work of the devil. NEXT!
He was no Monchichi.
Creepy teddy bears are tough, y'all!
He wasn't as creepy as the monkey that played the cymbals, though.
Awww now I love teddy ruxpin!! He was adorable. Monkeys playing cymbals and the smurfs creeped me out. But teddy was golden.
RIP
I loved my Teddy. Yes, he was creepy but nowhere near as creep as the Charlie McCarthy replica perched at the end of my bed that I woke up to one horrible Christmas morning.
Damn @Oopsy! I wouldn't have been able to sleep for days.
Yeah, I thought Teddy was adorable! I didn't have one, though, because I was too old for a talking teddy bear by then.
Teddy Ruxpin was somewhat adorable. Furby was the devil's spawn.
Freaking weird toy.
I have fond memories of tossing cases of Teddy Ruxpin down the stairs when I worked at Toys R Us.
One kid hits the other over the head with Teddy and splits his head open. We rush to the ER for stitches. The doctor asks how this happened and my son says "Teddy Ruxpin did it."
We sure got some weird looks.
LOL! My first thought was it was creepy as hell too..
Hey Sas I had tons of those Jolly Monkey's and I actually loved them. They were the mascot for my company I owned at the young age of 22-29. They are no longer mfg but they hold a special place in my heart.
Wanton is cracking me up!
My sister and I used to blame Teddy Ruxpin for EVERYTHING.
Fun fact: Shortly after his debut, Teddy Ruxpin was the "Official Spokesbear for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children" in 1985.
RIP, Teddy's pops.
I adored Teddy Ruxpin. My brother and I each got one for Christmas. I was seven, but he was only three. I have no doubt that T.R. is partly responsible for my brother reading at a fifth grade level when he was in first. It was an awesome learning tool.
Loved putting Black Sabbath tapes in Teddy.
I always wanted a Teddy Ruxpin instead I got his lame ass friend who I don't even remember the name of
