Blind Items Revealed
December 12, 2013
This Academy Award nominee/winner actor and this almost A list mostly movie actress had a competition to see who could get wasted the most each day during the filming of a movie they did together that was supposed to be a huge hit. The two were joined in by another Academy Award winner/nominee whenever she was scheduled to film. Sometimes an entire day would be blown because there was no usable footage because the three were so wasted.
James Franco/Mila Kunis/Michelle Williams
WTF. Enty also posted a blind about how these two almost got into a fight
ReplyDeleteWasted as in booze? WEED?
ReplyDeleteI thought they hated each other tho. this must have hapen before that hmmm
ReplyDelete*happened
ReplyDeleteAnd Mila managed to get pregnant in amongst all this. Ashton's super sperm.
ReplyDeleteHaving said that, no idea on the flop film which quite possibly was filmed a long time pre pregnancy.
ReplyDeleteThe wizard of Oz thing so was a long time ago. Mila and Franco are definitely pals as he did her interview mag interview and was obvious but yes previously Enty said mila and Michelle hate each other
DeleteSo do Mila and Michelle hate each other because they both fucked Franco during these drunken adventures? I'm going with that.
ReplyDeleteI guess it was that Oz the Great and Powerful movie? Maybe that is why they hate each other? They got into a drunken good witch/bad witch fight.
ReplyDeleteYawn
ReplyDeleteWAKE UP STEAMPUNK!
DeleteBrrzit! * snort *, M'wak e . em.,..
DeleteI was dreaming ...bad sex...
Started out with a bang and then ..it was going thru the motions..
Oh wait....
* looks around*
~We're heeeere~
Why couldn't they have released footage of that in theaters instead?
ReplyDeleteI can't see Michelle and Mila ever getting along, so I'm sure that was for show. Toss in Franco (gross) and game over. Competing for that piece of bathroom tile leftovers probably did the trick on the whole 'we don't like each other' thing.
ReplyDeleteAnyone who loves Asston would get my hatred too.
ReplyDeleteI heard Mila and Michelle were friends during shooting. They started hating each other during the press tour when Michelle said Ashton couldn't act. Mila took offense and attacked Michelle -- for telling her the truth.
ReplyDeleteHA David, if true karma came along sooner rather than later egowise.
ReplyDeleteWasn't Ashton the one who told JJ to give it up, she couldn't act?
Explain in part why the film was so godawful...
ReplyDeleteYep, he's gay. Straight man don't engage Kunis in a drinking contest and actually keep up.
ReplyDeleteI love a good witchfight
ReplyDeletefranco fucked em both
ReplyDeleteSounds like good times to me.
ReplyDeleteUgh. Such entitled behavior. So these three basically wasted the time of all those trying to actually work and the studio's money. They sound AWESOME!! Eyeroll.
ReplyDeleteInteresting that we tsk tsk Lindsay Lohan for pulling this bullshit but how many other Hollywood acting douchebags do the same thing?
THIS. Insanely unprofessional.
DeleteThat was my first thought, but it sounds like they filmed anyway but couldn't use the footage. They were actually doing them a favor by getting them more work and they were actually screwing over the studio. Still not cool, but at least the other people got paid.
Delete@Susan, with you wasting the production peoples' time - but I just can't get indignant about the waste of a studio's money.
DeleteIt's like asking me to feel sorry for a bank. Or supermarket chain. Impossible.
I can't imagine Michelle thinking that was a good idea, after everything she's gone through with someone in her life abusing drugs and alcohol. She seems pretty clean living,
ReplyDeleteI find it unprofessional too. You don't come to work drunk or do it once you get there. Question the veracity of the gossip although I can see Mila being the instigator.
ReplyDeleteSee, that's exactly what I was thinking HR, why would she do this? She's a Mom and has seen so much (Heath, etc), why? I can believe the other two, not her..seems fake..
ReplyDelete@Melissa, what's the "etc"?
DeleteAnd why would any of this prevent her from getting wasted with her co-stars?
Btw, they are all former AA nominees, no "almost A list" here.
ReplyDeleteIf AA means Academy Award, that leaves out Kunis, @Jennifer.
DeleteIf it means Alcohilics Anonymous, I can't possibly comment...
Tsk, no. The competition was between Mila and Michelle to see who could get wasted enough for the kissing scene with Franco. No one won and they tossed the footage.
ReplyDeleteDunno about Michele it seems to me when someone is pretty out of control with substances (i.e. Heath) they are rarely with someone 'clean-living' instead they are usually with someone who uses functionally and has yet to lose control...it's way more frequent for both to be users and for one to be 'the problem' vs the other partner who still has a semblance of control i.e. Sean Young and her husband or Jeff Conaway and that strange enabling chick he was on celeb rehab with.
ReplyDeleteAt least two of Michelle's serious relationships have been with hardcore drug and alcohol users. She parties.
ReplyDeleteAnd I would be deducting the production expenses for those days out of the salaries of those "child"ish actors and I would never hire these people for a movie again and I would let everyone else in town know about it
ReplyDeleteor do not hire without random drug testing
this is where movies are going anyway, because of the insurance
Gary Oldman was too drunk to do a scene in the Scarlet Letter - he needs cue cards or a teleprompter, this is when his drinking was starting to affect his work before he got cleaned up in 1996, 1997. He is usually known for being very professional on set. Since I watched the movie before hearing about this, I was none the wiser and I am sure most people were not.
ReplyDeleteI can see why he was drinking, you would too if you were doing the movie Scarlet Letter with Demi Moore as Hester Prynne and they changed the ending on a classic novel, just so wrong, probably a diva demand by Demi, which also meant taking out what could have been his best scenes and his pay was docked for a couple of days of production costs.
It is one thing to be struggling with an addiction but making up silly games doing a very expensive movie, grow up and pay up.
"Supposed" to be a big hit? The movie cost $215 million to make and grossed almost $500 million worldwide, plus another almost $50 million in DVD sales. I think that's pretty much a hit. It more than doubled it's cost to produce. Plus, why are these three called "nominee/winners" when only one of them actually won? Aren't these blinds vague enough without confusing the issue?
ReplyDelete@Matt, regarding the nominees/winners thing:
DeleteFirst, the use of nominee/winner is deliberate to keep the blind vague. The person is at least an academy award nominee and might also have been a winner.
Second, not all three fit that category; Franco and Williams have been nominated, Kunis has not.
Finally, none has won the academy award, I don't know who you were thinking of.
Ah, that's better.

It is one thing to be struggling with an addiction but making up silly games during a very expensive movie to purposely waste film, grow up or at least pay up.
Ugh...I've seen the movie, and watching it sober would be a painful experience!
ReplyDeleteThe Scarlet Letter was horrible and Demi Moore should have been hanged. To add insult to injury, she publicly claimed that changing the ending was no big deal because not many people have read the book. It's NATHANIEL HAWTHORNE.
ReplyDeleteBut Gary Oldman was gorgeous in that film and dead sexy. I get sucked into it on television sometimes just looking at him.
I agree, Gary Oldman is positively stirring. And changing the ending WAS a big deal!
Delete@matt even given you facts. the studio spent about 150 million to advertise and they only get 1/2 domestic back from theaters and about 40% foreign.
ReplyDeleteso it cost about 365 and they got back about 200 domestic plus 40 f
and 50 dvd
365 cost makes back 290 = in hole
-75 million no sequel
