Samantha Harris Has Breast Cancer
Samantha Harris, the former co-host of Dancing With The Stars, will undergo surgery for a double mastectomy to treat breast cancer. According to an interview she gave People, she noticed a lump last fall. Before she did the self-examination she was given a clean bill of health after a mammogram turned up nothing. A few months after noticing the lumps she saw a cancer specialist who told her the best option was a double mastectomy. Samantha is married with two girls. I hope everything turns out well for her. She says that when she was told she had breast cancer that it was like an elephant was on her chest. The surgery is set to take place later this month.
So sad, may she have a fast recovery. Perhaps this is why we have the Nancy Grace-like Erin Andrews on DWTS.
ReplyDeleteNo one liked Sam on DWTS. She will give MANY interviews as she possibly can about this & will parly it into other hosting jobs.
ReplyDeletePoor woman. That's my worst fear.
ReplyDeleteI hope she gets some good counselling and support and makes it through this awful situation.
I wish her a speedy recovery.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure glad her doctors acted quickly. Mastectomies are drastic, but they can save one's life. My mother had it done in the 1960s and lived into her 90s. (and died of stroke-related causes, not cancer).
ReplyDeleteMaybe it was the fake boobs.
ReplyDeleteSads. All around though.
Wait does she have breast cancer or was she just advised to get the double mastectomy to prevent the possibility like ANgelina?
ReplyDeleteBless her! I hope its treatable and all treatments are a success. Petrified of this happening.
ReplyDeleteI wish her health, even tho i never heard of her.
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit confused - she had a clean mammogram but she found a lump shortly afterward? Was that a very fast growing lump or what?
ReplyDeleteI don't know who she is, but I wish her a speedy recovery and the best of health.
ReplyDeleteI wish her well.
ReplyDeleteWhen you have implants your breasts can't be squeezed tight enough during a mammogram. Often lumps are missed for that reason. Smaller breasted women also have lumps picked up faster than larger breasted women. Wishing her well.
