The good news is this A-/B+ list mostly television actress and sometime host got her show picked up for the fall. The bad news is that her husband has been cheating on her with a woman in his office. Very long lunches over at her place.

ReplyDeleteMaybe they are just cooking something elaborate? I know I spend at least45 minutes making my risotto; between prep and actual cooking. That doesn't include steaming any veggies or making a salad.

DeleteI think Melissa from $10 dollar dinners does it in a crockpot and swears its awesome. That's the only method im willing to try. I cant stir for 30 minutes.

DeleteLadies, it's all about enjoying the process. Pour a nice glass of Cab Sav, put on some Miles Davis, and enjoy. Of course, my lack of depth perception negates my enjoyment of golf, tennis, etc so cooking is how I relax.

Really, Sillygurl??? I've been eyeing my crock pot, wondering if I could make risotto in it!! I used to make it all the time before I had kids, but I have no time to stand around stirring a pot for 45 mins!

I believe Maya's show is a one-time special/pilot. It will be picked up if it does well.
