Rehn?
ReplyDeleteCrystal Renn just signed with Agent Provocateur and today is her bday...so who is the actor?
DeleteKate upton. Was she plus?
ReplyDeleteBardem for the actor. I know who the model is but I am going to need to consult google.
ReplyDeleteRobin Lawley?
DeleteThere are former plus sized models?
ReplyDeleteYa crystal renn is one. She put out a book about her struggles with starving herself as a model became a plus model saying love yourself as you are and then went back to being skinny. Grrr
DeleteSort of like Ashley Simpson "I Am Me" and then I Am Nosejob, Lil P?
DeleteOk but Ashley is the only person who had a nose job that literally did make her more pretty.
DeleteI only know two Emme and Toccara, Actor Waltz or Day Lewis?
ReplyDeleteTwiggy
ReplyDeleteThe only plus size model I can think of is Mia Tyler, Liv Tyler's sister. I don't know what she looks like now though.
ReplyDeleteIf Kate Upton is plus sized, then I must be fucking Shamu the whale in my size 14 pants and dd bra.
ReplyDeleteI hate people.
+1,000,000!
DeleteCarre Otis
ReplyDeletefashion world is not real world.
ReplyDeleterunway size is 0-2
plus size is 4-8
i think this is renn with her weight fluctuations
kate upton is not a fashion model, shes just an average girl that shows off her boobs
@TECruz ^5 Kate Upton comments. I can't stand her face and don't get the appeal.
DeleteI don't get the appeal either.
DeleteCrystal Renn and Christian Bale?
ReplyDeleteAnyone over a US size 12 is plus size in model world. Officially. I never see "regular" size models over a size 6.
ReplyDeleteSophie Dahl?
ReplyDeletePlus size is 4-8? Holy moses.
ReplyDeletePlease Mia Tyler is not the model in this blind
ReplyDeleteChristal Renn would be my guess, she was a plus size model, would praise being plused & healthy, then she lost a bunch of weight, got a lot of backlash for it, she has the face of an ape.
ReplyDeleteat least renn has a somewhat interesting face.
ReplyDeletei really wonder what drugs people are on when they sign certain models. i.e. wixson, upton, rocha...
Coco Rocha poses like no other. She's magnificent.
DeleteHow i wish everyone wasnt so fixated on weight and looks. Imagine.....

DeleteSophie Dahl and Daisy Lowe could be described as being curvy and healthy, but Lowe is not technically plus size.
ReplyDeleteSophie is the only one I can think of who was plus size and isn't really any more, not in the real world. However I only think of her as I am british.
ReplyDeleteI'm a size 2-4 depending on how bad my crohns is. Didn't realize that at 115 lbs ( size 4 ) that I was considered plus size. That's insane !!!
ReplyDeleteNo wonder so many girls have eating disorders.
@aj depends on height. runway is at least 5'8 or 5'9. most runway models are closer to 5'11.
ReplyDelete@TE
ReplyDeleteI could see that. I'm kinda short & petite and TBH everyone thinks of me as teeny tiny. Just surprised at the Dress size scale.
kim k first nose job was god but she keeps going back
ReplyDeletedemi moore first nose was a hook nose
"Former anorexic turned plus-size model Crystal Renn, now size 8, wants to design fashion for women big AND small: 'I want to design a line with body diversity in mind'"
ReplyDeleteAccording to the dailymail
Agree 10000000% re: false image of women's body size across all mediums.
No wonder the online rave last week over the Miss USA 2014: Stunning Miss Indiana Mekayla Diehl's 'Normal' Body Applauded on Twitter During Swimsuit Competition" @ 137 lbs she'd be considered totally unacceptable by false fashion standards.
Mia Tyler for the model. Bardem for the actor?
ReplyDeleteI love the good old days when super models had hot bodies and gorgeous faces. A lot of them now are just models because they are bony enough.
ReplyDeleteI'm not surprised at the scale at all. I'm five foot eight and a US six and I look like shamu beside these women. Have you ever met a runway model in real life? They are generally skeletal thin, I mean unhealthily so, I'm not talking the famous pretty ones, I'm talking the average run way model. The clothes horse. It's really not a good look, they are very tall and very very thin and generally very young girls.
ReplyDeleteActually I work with women like that, seriously tiny, and I work in a male dominated environment, so only a handful of us, When I'm with my mates, I feel normal, or even slim sometimes. When I go to work, I feel sodden huge. That's a joy on a daily basis. But when you are surrounded by five foot, size 2 - 4 women, and i tend to make it worse by always wearing four inch heels, taking me to over six foot, I'm feel like xena in amongst the borrowers.
@AJ-I got scouted when I was younger, mainly did local stuff. After awhile though I was told that at 5'6-7" I wasn't tall enough unless I wanted to go overseas.
ReplyDelete@Hammer
DeleteThat's pretty cool.
Ive heard that at 5'9 your considered a short model. Wth ? That said, isn't Kate Moss famous partly for being a successful shorter model ?
I think Kate can do whatever she wants, she's like a modeling God. I never took it seriously, mainly I sweated my ass off in store windows as a live mannequin so I could get school clothes.
DeleteKate Moss broke the mold and probably helped more "shorter" models break into the business if you consider 5 foot 7 -9 short.
ReplyDeleteYes 5'8" is considered on the short side. I was 5'9" and 120 lbs and far too heavy to be a model and that was in the 80's. Bad skin didn't help either.
ReplyDeletei'm 5'9 and 125 and i make it in the local stuff, but im much too big to make in nyc. also i'm way too old.
ReplyDeleterunway is age 14-19. i saw an article about a girl that got cast in the big shows, and was told for press photos not to smile because she was still losing baby teeth.
i think the industry is slowly (very slowly) changing. honestly, i love the victoria's secret look. very slim, yes, but they are lean and muscular and healthy-looking.
so that makes real women plus plus size then?
ReplyDeleteI hate models
and yes I have seen Cindy Crawford back in the day and she was a lot thinner than you would think in real life compared to pics
ReplyDeleteand she was considered one of the curvier models.....
its craziness and we are nuts for putting up with it
oh and Kate Upton is probably not even a 6-maybe more like a 2-4
ReplyDeleteso if you think she is average-no
Sophie Dahl??? Technically half american, no.
ReplyDeleteSophie Dahl??? Technically half american, no.

ReplyDeleteUnpopular opinion, but I think the models mentioned are gorg. Models don't have to be conventionally attractive to be able to evoke the different characters or moods asked of them. I kind of love them more because they have quirky and unique looks. Wixsen, Joblanski, Rocha, Liu, Abby Lee Kershaw, are all unique and adorable. Also Kate Upton is a bombshell. *Slips back into obscurity
ReplyDeleteThis is meant to be now-thin Renn, who's NY-London based and once did ads for Mango (Spanish fashion line) with Penelope Cruz no less. She works lots in Europe, repped by Elite London/Paris so any A-lister she sees is there or in NY. any hints about Colin Firth lately?
ReplyDeletewho said Bale? hardly leaves his LA house when not working, dont think he's been to an Oscar party in his life. If he runs around it's local.
This is crystal renn and Javier bardem for sure
ReplyDeleteBale isn't an Oscar winner.
ReplyDelete@Sprink
ReplyDeleteBale won an oscar 3 years ago for best supporting actor ( The Fighter)
If it was about him,Enty would write that his wife is pregnant
@FrenchGirl, oh gosh, you are absolutely correct. Of course he did.
ReplyDeleteI actually gave it "Deep Thought" from my memory bank and decided no. Whoops! Should've Googled but am too confident in my Oscar knowledge for my own good sometimes!
I must have been asleep by then that year...
That model with the big tits?
ReplyDelete
