Stevie B Owes Over $1M In Child Support

For at least the second time I can remember, Love And Hip Hop star, Stevie B, has been arrested for not paying back child support. Apparently he has never paid a dime in child support and now owes slightly over $1M. Back in 2011, Stevie was famously arrested by police while he was on stage because he owed over $400K in child support. He was released from jail after coughing up a measly $11K in back support. By my tally, the singer has seven children from at least three different women. Stevie had a hit way back in 1990 with Because I Love You but hasn't had anything match the success of that song. Stevie was arrested in Georgia and will be sent to NYC to face charges and is probably going to spend a long time in jail. The child support was first ordered back in 1999 and he stopped paying sometime in 2001.

    I don't know who that is but I will just say that men and women on both sides of relationships game the system, so I really hesitate to come out swinging at anyone in a custody / child support battle. That's what the courts are for!

    Im flabergasted with the inaccuracy of this article. A simple google search of the love and hip hop atlanta cast would have shown this to be stevie j, a producer. Stevie b the singer is 50. Yes he did get arrested several years ago for not paying child support but he's pretty much caught up. I dont understand how someone can write an article without fact checking. This is so sad and pathetic. Really shows how low quality CDAN has become.

    I knew someone who got arrested on stage during a dinner theatre performance because they were bouncing checks. Wonder what ever happened to her.

    Can anyone explain the attraction of having multiple children by multiple baby mamas? I used to teach in a school in Chicago, and I remember one young man in particular, 17, very good looking, had 3 children by 3 different women already. It was all I could do not to shake him. And it seriously did not occur to him that there was anything problematic with it. What are their mothers teaching them? Fathers? Not in the picture either, so there you go.

    You know they spay and neuter animals to cut down on unwanted babies. I sure wish humans would take advantage of modern medicine's ability to STOP all these freaking pregnancies!!! I don't consider wanting a child for the payday they're gonna (supposedly going to get) a legit reason for having kids. I look at the Lohan's as just one (of many) examples where two people had no business procreating. There are millions of kids that have already been born who don't have parents, food, a place to live etc. I sure wish breeders everywhere would think twice (hell think once even) about the responsibilities and impact of procreating.

    In high school we had to do an essay on whether people should have to get a licence and courses before being allowed to have a baby never mind the logistical issue of preventing pregnancy - you need a licence to drive a car, you need to take a course a very tough course in Ontario in order to get a motor cycle licence. To parent a child, all you need is a sperm and an egg and no intelligence whatsoever.

    Stevie J was a producer at Bad Boy Records at the height of it's popularity. He's produced and/or wrote songs for Notorious B.I.G.,Faith Evans,Mariah Carey and Babyface.

    This is shoddy reporting, no matter why anyone thinks it happened. Stevie is a producer who once worked with Sean Combs at Bad Boy Records, and has never released an album or song where he was the primary singer. A simple Google search gives you all the information you need to write an accurate blurb.
