Today's Blind Items - The Homophobic A Lister

This A lister is one of the bigger homophobes in the business. He is foreign born. Has been as high as A+ list, but has hovered at A for the past decade. Academy Award winner/nominee. Always likes to come across as very macho and hetero and has been married but prefers women he can use for a night or two and then throw away. The thing is he is big on leaking that he does that because he thinks it makes him look like a stud. If you do it to him though, then he thinks the woman is trash and he will do what he can to damage her reputation. When he meets a man who is gay, he is often nice to him at the beginning to try and get the guy to respond and then he will have the guy fired or humiliate him or think of some way to abuse the guy. Often this is done after he has been serviced by the guy. If you ask his friends they will all tell you how much he our actor gay bashes and that he would never play gay and would never "allow" his kids to become gay. Straight out of the middle ages and one of these days he is going to go too far in abusing one of these men and they will get back at him.

I dated a guy who had sex with another man, constantly tried to get me to have a threesome with him and another man who was bi but insisted he was just drunk and that being gay was a'mental imbalance'
People closeted and uncomfortable with who they are often are homophobic sometimes.

  13. Why would Enty make this about Sean Connery. We already know he's dirty.

  15. Sounds like Mel.
Plus the women deprive him of the Beej, he's got to get it where he can.

Plus he likes to degrade people.

  26. Russell Crowe is still technically married. And have we really heard all that many stories about him having one-night stands, loving and leaving them? I'm not feeling the Crowe guess. We need someone more like Gerard Butler only nominated. Jude Law? I don't think he was ever A+.

    ReplyDelete
  27. @ quicksten -- Kristen ur good---Russell Crowe's an excellent guess cuz my kneejerk response was Mel,no question,Gibson..

    ReplyDelete
  28. And Russell Crowe played gay in 1994's The Sum of Us. Of course that was before he was big in America.

    I read it as

"The thing is he is big on leaking [the news] that he does that [sleeps with women for a night or two] because he thinks it [using women in a jackassy way] makes him look like a stud."

I am DYING at the Paddington thing, @Riven.

I thought the same about Mel. It's no secret he's homophobic, but by the same token, it would be interesting to say the least if it came to light that he had a string of rent boys.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Arnold

But the only person I can think of who had the love em and leave em was Colin Ferrel. But does he have an Oscar nom?

    ReplyDelete
  33. i thought crowe all the way through.

i'd argue gibson's not even A list anymore, but crowe certainly is.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Tossing Gerard Depardieu into the mix.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Not Antonio, he was gay in Philadelphia.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I thought Antonio at first as well, Lux, but then I thought that given the recent divorce announcement, Enty would reveal stuff about him rather than keep it blind, maybe?

Yup, folks always forget that famous Aussies Mel and Nicole Kidman were actually U.S.-born!

    ReplyDelete
  37. To be different... Hugh Grant.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Yeah Sandybrook - another Boston girl here not appreciating your comment.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Not for an Oscar

    ReplyDelete
  40. Was Arnold ever nominated for an oscar - if so, this blind fits right in with some of the rumors about his early days in the USA. The original Enty used to know that Mel was born here (Nicole Kidman, too), but maybe not anymore. All that aside, I cannot think of anyone who is all three of these things: (1) divorced megadouche, (2) academy award winner/nominee, and (3) so homophobic he won't even play gay.

    ReplyDelete
  41. The Sum of Us was such a good movie, the first Russell Crowe film I saw…

    ReplyDelete
  42. Sounds like Dee Dee Ramone in "53rd and 3rd". Yes I'm turning gay tricks but I'm no sissy, no sir!

    ReplyDelete
  43. The "Sum of Us" was a good movie and just because he played the gay son (no action in it as you recall) doesn't mean he's not homophobic.

    Crowe's a jerk so I'm guessing him.

this guy needs to be outed

  45. Definitely Neeson. There were rumors he was "getting over" Natasha's death by stuffing Bradley Cooper's well-used hole.

  47. It can't be banderas, one of his best friends is almodóvar, who is even more of a queen (thank you alec baldwin for the word) than an asshole of a person (unrelated to his sexual wishes). And he has been a lot of times in gay pride parade in Madrid.

And no way getting a blowjob from a dude is straight. Damn, if you get a boner watching some dude licking your penis, you are not straight. That is all.

  48. Liam Neeson? Gimme a break! He made out with Peter Sarsgaard in "Kinsey"!

  50. I'm going to guess Ralph Fiennes..... He was married to Alex Kingston years ago, has a pretty racy love life with the opposite sex, there was the story about him and the Australian stewardess, he's known to be vocally anti-gay behind closed doors and it wouldn't surprise me if he's a closeted bi-boy. Other than that: I was going to say Harrison Ford but I think he's US born. Maybe Crowe? He's nasty enough but I just can't see it myself.... Quien Sabe? I'm going for Ralphie simply because it's the sort of really nasty thing he'd do. Sorry ladies :-(

    ReplyDelete
  51. Banderas and Neeson yet acted gay character
    Walhberg is american
Crowe is still married and acted gay character
Depardieu acted gay characters several times
Bale is still married, acted gay character and is Todd Haynes'friend
    Sean Connery stopped to work
    DDL is still married
Collin Farell never was A+ list and his brother is gay .He also said he tried with the guys

    ReplyDelete
  52. He treated poor old MelB like cr*ap! She had to go to court to get him to acknowledge their child..... That and the trannies

  53. Mel Gibson was born in the US - don't believe this is him. I think this may be Arnold Schwarzenegger?

    ReplyDelete
  55. @Veee In Bruges was phenomenal. Brendan Gleeson does not get much US public notice but he's awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I could so see thus being Crowe. Huge erect dick. Use em and abuse em, thats his motto. Arnold is awful to everyone. Mel, i dont see him humiliating the person, just nice to face and never anything further.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I like the Russell Crowe guess.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Crowe's a dick but he's played gay and he's not divorced. Same thing for Jeremy Irons.

Arnold S. was my first thought but if he's been nominated for an Oscar I'll give him a blowjob - not a chance.

Mel fits everything else but he's American-born.

It should be easy with all these clues but damned if I know.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I'm going with Russell Crowe - I have a hard time believing that Mel Gibson could pass as an undercover homophobe - who doesn't know Mel's a bigoted racist at this point?

    ReplyDelete
  60. In many cultures, men don't think they are gay if they are "tops" fucking "bottoms" or if they are the ones getting blown. Homophobes are simply deeply closeted gay men and they are usually the worst sort of human beings.

I think this is Hugh Grant.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I'm feeling the Jude Law vibe from this.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I guess I'm the only one who read it as Benico Del Toro, but I don't know if he's ever been married.

    ReplyDelete
  63. @Sugar haha---never got the chance to ask when he winked and my male friend and I though! He is either bi or very gay friendly...

    ReplyDelete
  64. I get the Russell Crowe vibe too, although I would hope he is not this vile. Yes, this is VILE!

    ReplyDelete
  65. I read this as Arnold. I know he never been Oscared as an actor, but "producer" of a movie would count, but don't know of any.

Whoever this is needs to be outed for the sake of any future women and gay men who meet him.

    ReplyDelete
  66. I liked the Del Toro guess, Topper, but it seems he's never been married.

I don't see Gibson in this at all--no real history as a love 'em and leave 'em lothario, not foreign born (though he's certainly well known as an Australian), and--past rankings aside--can't really say he's been A-list for the last decade given the trouble he's gotten himself into.

Plus, I sincerely doubt Jodie Foster would have stood by his side during said troubles if this were true about him.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Russell Crowe made a movie in 1994 called "The Sum of Us" where he plays a gay man looking for Mr. Right. Enty says: If you ask his friends they will all tell you how much he our actor gay bashes and that he would never play gay and would never "allow" his kids to become gay. This cannot be Crowe.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Colin Farrell played a gay character in House at the End of the World and he was besties with Liz Taylor before her death so definitely not him. Liking the Ralph Fiennes guess. Once worked with a guy from the UK who had really awful things to say about his brother, I think his name is Joe Fiennes. Like no morality kind of behavior that seemed perfectly acceptable to the Fiennes brothers.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I thought Ralph Fiennes was shacked up with the daughter of Francesca Annis (his most recent long-term ex)?!

    ReplyDelete
  70. Hope it isn't Russell Crowe....my family met him (and his wife) and said that he is VERY easy going and a sweet guy.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Sincerely won the quote of the day.

As for who this is I got nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Definitely not Colin Farrell, his brother is gay and they're really close

    ReplyDelete
  73. Where was Tiny Tim born?

    ReplyDelete
  74. Ralph Fiennes may be a lot of things, but I would never describe him as macho. Anyhoo - he has played gay before (and extremely well) in Bernard & Doris

    ReplyDelete

  76. Please, please, tell me this is Kevin Spacey.

But yeah I know. He'd like to be foreign-born, but he isn't.

Since I'm grumpy, I'm now going to say Kiefer Sutherland.
