Sorry just noticed "Sitcom". Off to research some more.
Jody sweeting is on some mom board and lives in an la apartment complex according to some friends.
Go for it.
Mr Feeny
Laura Winslow----and Judy wants some!!!!
with Eric Matthews.
I believe it
Evangeline Lily?
Hmmm, Happy Days was on for 10 years A listers Henry Winkler and Ron Howard could this be Joanie aka Erin Moran?
What about Laurie Metcalf, with Roseanne and John Goodman being the A-listers?
Rosanne has a farm in Hawaii. I think Urban nailed it.
i was going to say someone from rosanne. laurie metcalfe
Erin Moran is a good guess Montana because bitch is straight up broke had drug addictions and has even been homeless.
urkel??
Skittle is that sister Jackie? I am totally on board with this guess.
Janet from Three's Company. Plus she got popped for DWI
Someone from How I met your mother?
The pot episode on Roseanne was pure magic.
Deeeejaaaaaay
Moran has been a hot mess for years. Hard drugs.
Will she be my friend?
Hot isn't a good word to describe Erin anymore Chachi would have dropped her ass.
Roseanne. Clooney and goodman as co-stars
@Kristin - "It's just me. Me and my ganja! Is this the sink? Am I SHRINKING?!"
The business of the future
Oh, and yeah, Roseanne makes sense, but we already know that she lives on the Hawaii farm AND that she likes weed, so I'm not sure how blind-worthy that might be. Makes me think it's someone really goody two-shoes...
Alison Hannigan.
Joyce DeWitt. That was my first thought.
I read the blind as saying the costars were A listers then and now.
Is John Goodman really an A lister. Same with Suzanne Somers.
Dawn Wells! Gilligan's Island. Bob Denver and Jim Baccus were A-List back then.
Roseanne
Two A listers = John Goodman + George Clooney
Team Roseanne
I read somewhere that Roseanne was growing pot on her farm in Hawaii...when she was doing that reality show (anyone remember that)? So, I think it's her.
How I Met Your Mother was on cbs
I swear this is a repeat blind.
Roseanne's crazy, the pot probably helps.
Not Erin Moran, she's a drugged out headcase barely living in a trailer park. She can't afford a farm. Chachi's a racist, homophobic, cheap-ass piece of shit. He's not good enough for Erin Moran's trailer park.
Roseanne was A list all the way and I will not accept anything less. Maybe Enty is calling her a B but he is WRONG!
I'm not sure it's Joyce DeWitt, only because it says "then and now," and of course we no longer have John Ritter with us. (He will always be A as far as I'm concerned, though.) And Suzanne is probably a B; personally I really like her books and SomerSweet.
@jane3113 - Roseanne IS an A! I'm with ya, girl! I really enjoyed her reality show and I still watch it when I find it floating around in reruns. She's kind of a political nut over on Twitter, but interesting as hell. Frankly, I'd really like to just go hang with her in Hawaii at the farm, pot or no pot. I think it'd be a hoot.
Dawn Wells was busted getting pot for Bob Denver a few years back! Remember that? So that's a great guess. Although...wait...yeah, that "then and now." I'm thinking the other two A-listers HAVE to be alive as well, right?
Yes! They are so high in that episode.
Joanie Cunningham/Erin Moran.
Best episode ever.
Roseanne might be growing pot, but she is not the answer to this blind! Am I the only one here old enough to know that Roseanne is a former A lister??? She was A all the way back then.
Actually, make that A+. The show was called Roseanne.
No way it's Roseanne. She grows macadamia nuts on her farm.
Not b list
I don't think the words "then" and "now" are meant to be taken together. "Then" refers to the two A-listers and "now" refers to the pot-growing B-lister.
Dawn Wells would be a great guess except that there were 7 castaways and they were all more or less of equal ranking.
Roseanne is always A+
Laurie Metcaff plays Sheldon's Mom on TBBT she is only once in a while--but I could see it Rosanne and Clooney (Laurie dated him on the show for a bit in the early years)
@miliosr - Oh, jeez, you're right about "then and now" as I reread it. I couldn't read yesterday, apparently. Good point about Dawn Wells, too.
I think we're looking for a show with a definite trio and not an ensemble with more players (like on "Roseanne"). In that case, I think I like Joyce DeWitt as a guess. She even has pretty heavy smoking lines around her mouth. (Anyone else notice that when she's interviewed? She's gotta be a pretty heavy smoker if that's the case, right? I just don't know many women her age with lines that bad who are nonsmokers.)
And now I'm going to be pedantic, because I'm in a bad hormonal mood. Enty, if you had written the sentence as follows, it might have made more sense: "This former B-list mostly-television actress was on a very long-running, very hit ABC sitcom with two A-listers, and she now spends most of her time on her farm growing pot." Just a tip to aid reader comprehension.
Gotta be Joyce, right?! ABC show with three main actors, two of whom were A-listers. I'm not sure Joyce was ever quite as popular as John or Suzanne, so I'd call her "former B-list." I hate to say that because I like Janet, but look at their careers after that and look at hers.
I'm old enough to remember that Gilligan' Island was also on CBS, so Dawn Wells doesn't fit.
And Gilligan's Island was on CBS.
