Blind Items Revealed

April 5, 2014

This former A list tweener who doesn't work any longer and is out of money was responsible for the leak of some recent photos that have buzzed around the internet the past few weeks. He was trying to establish a market for completely nude ones he is trying to sell.

Joe Jonas

  7. Out of money? Not. Maybe limited from access to his money, but not out. They grossed 130 million in 08.

    1. I can't imagine " running out of money" when you're talking that kind of cash. If you're stupid enough to blow through that you deserve to be broke.

  8. Joe should just get rid of the beard who's sucking him dry. Maybe then he wouldn't have to resort to selling naked pics of his "friends".

  9. Joe Jonas is 25 years old, if their money was going into a trust isn't 21 usually the age it gets turned over or were the parents smart or is it just a case of he doesn't want his family knowing what he is spending the money on but like selling naked pics is hardly going to impress the family or fans either

  10. Broke to a celebrity & broke to a non celebrity are 2 very different things.

  11. But the question is, are we talking ACTUALLY "out of money" or the celebrity interpretation of the term which seems to be "significantly less money than I'm used to but still incredibly wealthy in comparison to the vast majority the world"?

Something tells me that Joe Jonas is hardly starving...

    1. His wife is a first class gold digger, so this could very well be true.

    2. The blind is about Joe and he isn't married. His older brother Kevin is although I think that contractual marriage he's in could hardly be considered the real thing under any circumstances.

  12. Who'da thunk Kevin would be the most likeable of the bunch. What went on in that family? Nick is an odd duck and Joe has the drug problems. Kevin, although clearly in the closet could have a revival of epic proportions a la NPH if he got the right representation.

  16. Kevin was renting his house out for the Super Bowl. That screams out of money to me! Here's the story

    1. Oops meant to say obviously different brother but if one could run out of the $$ maybe they didn't get so much?

  17. @ Faceblaster.

Grossing 130 million is vastly different from the net revenue they received. $$ went to managers, agents, publicists -- that probably added up to 30% to 45% off the top. Then tour expenses, including staff & transportation. Taxes.

They probably ended up with $10 million each. And that was 2008. Six years ago. If they had been smart about it, they would have had enough $$ to last a life time. But they probably blew quite a bit if it for a couple of years thinking the gravy train would not end. S U R P R I S E

That said, they're still better off than everyone here. So yeah, they're celebrity poor, not real people poor.

  18. I recall TLC having the same problem, everyone gets their cut of your piece and then even that's divided. doesn't amount to much especially when as Unknown pointed out the" Star" thinks the good times last. they don't. money comes and goes. agents should teach talent about money management. everyone's a cautionary tale.
