Threw a Sharknado Beach Party last year in Galveston. It was a BLAST! Very campy time. Sorry I didn't get another beach house this year. Next year I will get one for Sharknado 3!
Sorry Bookie Wookie's but Id have to be drunker then Tara Reid gets to even try watching that. And tonight I will be headed down her road too. weather permitting
"The chances of it are, like, you know, it's like probably 'pigs could fly,'" she told GQ. "Like, I don't think pigs could fly, but actually sharks could be stuck in tornados. There could be a sharknado."
Seven: that is the greatest confused interview since Keanu and Sandra couldn't even break down the simple logistics of the Lake House... And for that, we thank you!!!
Worked on two Roger Corman produced pictures in the 80's: Both sucked! Though 'Hard Bodies' had girls with nice breasts! That's the only good thing I can say.
This movie looks like it's in on the joke and I don't think that's fun to watch. It's way more fun to watch cheesy things that think they are art. That's why "The Room" has such a cult following.
Its fun how everyone is enjoying something so dopey. Why not? Theres plenty of misery right now in word, 2 hours of nonesense can only help relieve some tension.
My 13 year old son loves these movies! We watched Megashark vs. Mechashark last weekend. Debbie Gibson had a cameo. Sharknado was bad bad, not fun bad, but I know he already has the DVR programmed for number 2.
Ray - sorry about the other day. 29 looked like 28 to me on my phone. Doh! I was excited to hear Tara but she bailed. Ian did the show alone. I never had a chance to go back and read. Cheers!

ReplyDeleteThe first one was lame---not even so bad its funny. Just bad bad. I will pass.

ReplyDeleteTara Reid is the Sherri Shepherd of bad TV movies.
ReplyDelete"You know, it [a sharknado] actually can happen," Reid, 38, told GQ magazine. "I mean, the chances of it happening are very rare, but it can happen actually."
@Seven - I'm going to have nightmares now.
Delete@Seven-Hopefully if that happens, the sharks will just fall off the edge of the world.

ReplyDelete@Seven LOL! good lord--she must have been hitting her meth pipe that morning
ReplyDeleteShe is a genius. I'm shocked she didnt add a "like" in the middle of her sentence.
ReplyDeleteWish granted, @Pip. From the same interview:

ReplyDeleteThey couldn't PAY me to watch that crap. That's 2 HRS of my life that I'd never get back!

No. No. No. Thanks to VIP and her advice on THE CANYONS that's two hours already lost this week to an unwatchable, tedious train wreck.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of unwatchable train wrecks, how are Ms. Reids IMPLANTES these days.
Btw,VIP I adore you as always. We just disagree on one movie.
Let's talk about Ebola instead! Who thinks it'll make it to the US? Will it be like "The Stand"?
ReplyDeleteGreat TV people!!!!! Campy and fun. With some Sushi and 420. It's going to be awesome. Lite and easy.

ReplyDeleteI'll download it and watch. Then I'll go into Game of Thrones, which I still haven't seen completely, in order to forget it.

ReplyDeleteI'll scope the first 10m and then decide to watch more in increments of 15m. ;P
ReplyDeleteI'll watch it. One of my kids just told me that they decapitate the Statue of Liberty in it, which is disappointing, but I'll still watch it.
ReplyDeleteHaving some friends over with a bunch of booze and some El Pollo Loco. Woo! My bf LOVES these crappy shark movies. I
ReplyDeleteSharknado 2 exceeded my expectations. I was able to follow the plot and everything!! It really was a hoot. Best ending ever!
