ReplyDeleteDespite all the money raised I am getting the feeling that this now more about social networking and shaming your friends into pouring ice water over their head than charitable giving. I'm already dreading the next round involving some other charity that missed the boat on this one.

ReplyDeleteThey bleeped the words on the DailyFail so now I know what she said. Otherwise I couldn't understand her. I find it interesting that a 3 yr old was insistent upon joining in the challenge.

ReplyDeleteI love how the grandmother (age 40 btw) said how she must've picked it up at a restaurant her parents go to.
1) Birmingham has no restaurants worthy of the name.
2) KFC is not a restaurant.
3) We all know she picked this up at home, your laughable attempt at suggesting otherwise just adds to the entertainment. Thank you!

Aw, fuck, that's funny. The second time it played I was able to understand everything she said; the (Cockney?) accent is a bit tough at first.

ReplyDeleteThe family live in Birmingam, which is in the West Midlands of England. The accent is called 'brummie'. Incidentally, Ozzy Osbourne is also from Birmingam.
