Despite all the money raised I am getting the feeling that this now more about social networking and shaming your friends into pouring ice water over their head than charitable giving. I'm already dreading the next round involving some other charity that missed the boat on this one.
Well people don't have to dump the ice on their heads. That's just the fun part of it lol the point is to donate which people seem to be doing so that's awesome.
They bleeped the words on the DailyFail so now I know what she said. Otherwise I couldn't understand her. I find it interesting that a 3 yr old was insistent upon joining in the challenge.
She probably saw other people doing it and wanted to be part of "the fun." My five-year old thinks it's a big treat that I let her help take out the garbage last night.
Great. The really cringe-inducing Brummie accent just makes it so much better.
I love how the grandmother (age 40 btw) said how she must've picked it up at a restaurant her parents go to.
1) Birmingham has no restaurants worthy of the name. 2) KFC is not a restaurant. 3) We all know she picked this up at home, your laughable attempt at suggesting otherwise just adds to the entertainment. Thank you!
Shame on the Hate Mail though for not a) mentioning how much the house was worth b) telling us how many of the family were benefit claimants c) somehow linking this to UKIP
Sometimes I'm ashamed to be a Brit. This isn't one of them, fortunately.
Why is this funny? People always talk about how today's kids have no home training, respect etc., but they laugh when their toddles curse like sailors. *sigh*
@Cee Kay The family live in Birmingam, which is in the West Midlands of England. The accent is called 'brummie'. Incidentally, Ozzy Osbourne is also from Birmingam.
Hahahahahaha this is awesome

DeleteOh I understand how it is supposed to work- I just don't think a lot of the people doing now do.
Delete'doing it now do.'
DeleteI saw this before. The accent makes it seems punishable.
ReplyDeleteTl:dw
ReplyDeleteToddle. Hahaha
ReplyDeleteWhat's a toddle?
ReplyDeleteIs this Bristol Palin's kid?
Didn't Family Guy do this already?
I meant less punishable.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter emailed this to me this morning and I laughed so hard I spit out my coffee
ReplyDeleteI love it, but am glad she's not mine

DeletePersonally, I don't find it cute watching a toddler swear.

@SingBlue
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that about the DM, but I'm not surprised.
Aw, fuck, that's funny. The second time it played I was able to understand everything she said; the (Cockney?) accent is a bit tough at first.

I love this. She and Pearl the Landlord need to go into business together.

ReplyDeleteNot funny. Stupid family for thinking that teaching and allowing a child to use horrible language is cute.
