Blind Item #2

This openly gay B+ list mostly movie actor who also does a lot of Broadway and has never been in a blind item before says he is celibate because he was sexually assaulted a few years ago and even with therapy can't get over what happened.

  1. I know he's married but Alan Cumming?

    2. I think Quinto's mostly vt because of Heroes and American Horror Story.

  4. I don't like this blind. Guess the person who was sexually assaulted from a very small pool of out actors????

  5. Well, that's crummy. I hope his therapist isn't your source.
Sometimes, I'd rather you reveal the creepy source. This is one of those times. This information is not something a person discusses casually in a crowded elevator.

  6. Quinto has been a blind before though
That being said I have no idea---I just cant picture this being Nathan Lane...

    1. Was my first guess. Idk because he's a big man. I don't know how easy it would be to assault a guy that big.

  9. "Emotionally crippled" might be a better descriptor than "celibate", in my opinion.
    Celibacy is voluntary.

  10. Rupert Everett: 'Sex is over. I'm not motivated by it any more'
Rupert Everett has long been a martyr to his passions, but lately he's had something else on his mind. Victoria Coren, a lifelong fan, joins him for dinner to talk about his excoriating memoirs, his portrayal of Oscar Wilde and his urge to be a serious man

  11. I have a guess but it just feels gross. Someone's sexual assault shouldn't be sport for a blind.

Give me a bratty actor or bad drunk or serial cheater -- people whose secrets aren't worth protecting.

  12. I adore Rupert.....and he blazed trails by coming out when it wasn't advised and from moment he arrived in hollywood(after all his theatre success). I remember him talking about celibacy even then..that was a long time ago..
He also claims that coming out derailed his career and advised others not to..but again, years ago he wrote that and thankfully some things have changed...

  13. Does anyone remember Alan Cummings commercial for Cumming, his cologne. It was awful!

  14. So sad that therapy isn't helping him. Life should include the ability to enjoy the sexual expression.

  15. Poor lamb. I hope he finds peace.

  16. @ pip...lol...I musta missed that! Was it anything like those awful CK obsession commercials??

  17. If this statement was made for public consumption, then it's not a "blind" item but, it was not, then it's in extremely poor taste to speculate who this is supposed to be about. Moving on.

  18. @Pip-He also wanted the price to be $69 so for 69 you get Cumming. His joke, not mine.

  19. I loved Rupert in My Best Friends Wedding. Hollywood did him wrong once he came out. I agree with @Tricia, he was a trailblazer. I hope this info came straight from his mouth (or whoever the blind is about) and not from a loose lipped therapist, employee or friend. Sexual assault is no joke.

  20. I've known two men who became suicidal after a sexual assault. One did kill himself. Gay or straight, the lasting shame and social stigma is difficult to deal with.

  21. Lets guess who was victim of a violent crime and then let's gossip about why we hate him. Sounds like fun to me!

  22. So sad. Healing vibes to hom.

  23. very very sad. wishing healing and love to this person. once he finds true love, takes some time, everything will work itself out. now he knows what it's like to be a woman.

  24. Sexually assaulting somebody who is a B+ level celebrity sounds very risky. The assaulter must be somebody very powerful to feel they could get away with it. Somebody at David Geffen level power
