My Dad was an engineer; my mom was a registered nurse. Dad would NOT let Mom work because he knew she would make more money. I once told him he was stupid for that; he said he was a man in the family and it was his decision.
ReplyDeleteHe died in 2000 at age 72 thinking my mom was getting the $250,000 in life insurance. The policy expired when Dad turned 70.5 years old. Mom never said anything to him about that.
I hope you see things differently and eschew the macho man inheritance.

He has her on Extra all the time--she's co-hosted several times. He had her come on Ellen with as well. I don't see him not including her--he seems to talk about her all the time on his show.
