Richard Kiel Has Died

Richard Kiel, the towering actor best known for portraying steel-toothed villain Jaws in a pair of James Bond films and a funny appearance in Happy Gilmore, has died. He was 74.

    Awww, another piece of my childhood gone. He scared me as Jaws, but I love that they have him redemption and a love interest in the end. I still think of the aerial tramway scene whenever I go to Palm Sorings.

    I met him briefly at DFW airport back in 2005 or '06. He was in a wheelchair. Super nice guy. RIP
