Jeannie!!!!!!!!!
Dena. Got it.. you're a genie in a bottle baby..
Your Win is my command @Dena!
I'd wear that shit too if I look like her when I'm 80. Seriously she's got to be like 80 now.
She's been doing that for years. She gets her picture taken and disappears again. I don't think she's crazy, just lonely. Her one child died years ago. Show some sympathy.
Oh, that's sad.
I remember another blind that indicated that an actress from the 60's was dressing up as her character.......and was (ahem) for hire. Sounds Like Jeannie does more than Blink! I guess that bottle contains lots of little blue pills.
I bet she still looks good in it as well
Sounds like fun to me. I still wear my black miniskirts and pink hair highlights from the 80's at times. Why not?
If it makes her happy, I don't see anything wrong with it. And she still looks good in it.
People pay her for that I doubt she can still sing or dance at her age.
Sp whats the problem? She isnt hurting anyone.
What a load of horse crap, Mr Zzzz.
In May 2013, Barbara appeared with former American President Bill Clinton, Sir Elton John, and Fergie at the opening ceremony of the 21st Life Ball in Vienna, where Barbara wore her famous Jeannie harem costume.
A friend of mine did a play with her just this last spring/summer and said she was an absolute blast and classy and down-to-earth and all good things. She looks great at 80. Why the hell shouldn't she don the harem pants if the mood hits? I don't think this blind is "pathetic" as it seems to want to be. Go, Jeannie!
You do you Ms. Eden
She sounds like fun ;)
This makes me sad. I loved that show.
Thanks LadyH...I loved I Dream of Jeannie when I was little and I thought she was so beautiful!
I agree with what Essie said.
Don't be meanie to Jeannie!
Barbara is iconic and I think, quite talented, but was a victim of her own bombshell. She blew up long before IDJ in the 50's (hilarious as Loco Jones on the TV version "How to Marry a Millionaire"), but 20th C-Fox seems to have used her mainly to threaten Marilyn Monroe whenever she misbehaved. Meanwhile, Barbara made a lot of money for Fox on TV at a time when the movie studios were starting to hedge their bets.
I think it's just being a goofy old person, you stop caring that people "judge" you once you get into your twilight years. Done in fun, for sake of old memories. I kinda like it, so many actors get snobby and hate, to try completely shun their iconic characters.
