According to this site it is the married boyfriend who gives her the bruises.
That being said, being drunk a lot will also lead to many bruises, especially on the legs. What I don't understand is how the gossip from being seen with MM benefits him in any way. Unless he's being paid too. That would explain the "WTF how is this my life" look on his face during her drunk crying sesh a few weeks ago.
