This B+ list mostly television actress who stars on a hit network show and also does some cable show work is not technically of age, but recently split with her boyfriend because she got back together with her ex, who is in his mid 30’s.

    Not "technically" of age? She's of age or she's not. He's exploiting a minor or he's not. I don't see room for a technicality.

    "Technically of age" means that she is 18, yes, but that the other person is significantly older and possibly in a position of power or authority over her (such as an executive on her show).

    I think the "technically" of age is that while she is under 18, she is an emancipated minor so she has the capacity to make decisions as an adult.
